Using data from a spreadsheet, how can create several filled PDF of a form template?

Note that I'm completely new to adobe acrobat.

I have a model form for a certificate of achievement for students taking a summer workshop where I work. It includes data such as their name and the program they have completed. I have all the necessary information for each student in an excel sheet to spread. Rather than sit here and enter data into the form 300 + times, I want to automate the process. I would like to be able to specify the worksheet and have just acrobat print every 300, or save them as separate files, so I can print them out easily.

Nevermind, I found an alternative. I downloaded pdftk (PDF Toolkit) which is free and thanks to the use of its fill_form operation. I've been able to automate the process.

Incase it is useful to someone else I'll detail the steps of my work. Operation of pdftk generate_fdf I created my template pdf .fdf file. pdftk's fill_form operation accepts a .fdf and uses it to fill out the forms to a pdf document. Initially I thought that .fdf was a binary format (read it was somewhere, but never looked). Fortunately the field are stored as text, which meant that I could write a program to convert a .csv to .fdf files required quite easily. I did this in c ++, then wrote a quick script of commands to manage calling my program then moving the .fdfs to pdftk to create my pdf forms filled.

I'm a little surprised, it is as difficult to do as it is, I think it would be a pretty common task.

    Have you tried a battery pull?  This should fix a problem as you described.

    With your phone, remove the battery, then replace a minute later.  This will do all sorts of wonderful things to your phone for free unclaimed memory, delete no cited source points and make your phone run smoothly.

    Try it and let us know if it does the trick.

    People like you that encryption data with bitlocker do it because they want their data accessible only by those who have the certificate. The sad news for you is that you have made a good choice with BitLocker: unless you have the certificate, your data remains inaccessible. There is no backdoor. If he had then BitLocker would be useless.

When I try in number, however, the data which is along a line on the original worksheet comes to the bottom of the left column, which is completely useless.

    The line of values must be copied from a continuous row of cells.

    • I am running Windows 7 for packs SP 1 or SP 2 does NOT solve my problem since neither one works with Windows 7.  Is there a way to search for this MUI (Multiple User Interface) missing file? The every thing must have himself installed in the first place. I took my mom (she died in June) and my brother on this PC as users so even if they do not use this PC supports multiple users. Maybe if I deleted as a reboot and additional users it will solve my problems. My updates install OK but I can't run at all system restore.       OK I tried everything and nothing works! Only added beginners are updated browser Opera 10.63; IE9 (Beta); Firefox 3.6.12 and Google Chrome 7.0.517.41 and Java 22. Of course like everyone else in the world, I had to uninstall/enable and disable/download again and reinstall new Adobe Flash 10 and 11 of the shock wave and they keep crashing too!     There is not really a way to do it.  Just like you cannot block spam from your mailbox home - anyone can send you mail and anyone can use a false address 'return' that makes it look like it came from you.

    In fact, it is incredibly easy (only 10 letters typed) to send an e-mail that looks like it comes President @ whitehouse.gov.  That's how spammers do, because there is no check on email (I wish the people who invented the email 40 years ago had thought of that), but it is not just.

    PDF is a format of destination end - even if Acrobat is able to make minor changes in a file (for example, correct typos) is not a word processor or desktop Publishing application. Major changes must be made in the original document and the PDF re-exported.
