Using Lightroom CC on several systems

How can I use Lightroom CC and access my catalogue between the two systems (for example an iMac and a MacBook)?   There must be an easier way to take care of an external hard drive and its connection to such systems as recommended in the FAQ.

Hi mic,

You can use an external hard drive to access the catalogue even on multiple computers. It's the easiest way, and I suggest this workflow.

However, it is not required.

Lightroom is designed to be used on a computer using a catalog at a time.

In order to use the same catalog and the same set of images, you must only make sure that Lightroom is able to access.

If you wish, you can follow the underside of workflow using the same catalog and images on multiple computers.

You can upload your images and the catalog to a storage online as the creative cloud, once you have finished on a single computer.

You need to download the same on the other computer. Once you have done on the second computer, you must download the catalog and newly added images again.

Now if you want to use the first computer, you must download the catalog and news images and replace/upgrade them at the same place as the other computer.

This should allow you to use the same catalog on multiple computers.
