valid product key non - sticker faded does not help!

Responses of expensive,

I used the recovery feature pre-installed (F9) to restore my archos 10 laptop Win XP.

I entered the product key of many variations and a ridiculous number of times but I thought its not valid.

I see in the forums/support pages that is not uncommon, however, the downside of a worn/faded product key sticker theres no hope!

I hope someone can help, something is appreciated.

THANKS x

  • Product key for Microsoft Office does not work

Hey.  The product key at the bottom of my laptop does not for my Microsoft Office 2007 check my license.  I had the computer over a year when I first tried the product key and I was wondering if he could have expired or something.  The message I get actually says it's an invalid product key.  Any help I could get with this would be much appreciated.  Thank you.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Office/offers/default.mspx

The product key on the bottom of your laptop isn't for Vista, Office 2007.

You'd have a trial version of Office 2007 pre-installed on your laptop.

To continue to use Office, you can buy licensed copy of it.

Buy from the link above, or check your computer local local store. Mick Murphy

  • Product key of Microsoft Office does not work

    Hello.

My toshiba laptop provided with microsoft preinstalled and you need a product key which is at the bottom of my laptop.

But when I get it im told its draw.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to sort it. ?

    Hello

The serial key you found at the bottom of the device is NOT a key to office.
It s an OEM of Windows key!

The key of Microsoft Office, you will find on the cover of the recovery CD!

Please don t mix the two keys ;)

I have a problem with my product key on my emachines, how can I solve this problem.

    Hello

If your problem is with Office, read this:

    ·                         Office TRIAL activation

    ·                         you would have a preinstalled trail version of office installed

There are only so many days use or use of the times with a version of office to test

I'm sorry but the Office comes for free with a windows operating system

You must purchase separately the Office

and the product key on your computer/laptop is for the windows operating system not the office suite of applications

I just bought Win 8 Pro online and downloaded the ISO.  I used the ISO to make a new installation on my PC.

Make sure that you are not copying and pasting in the product key.

Enter the product key manually and avoid entering dashes (hyphens), those who will be filled automatically.

Avoid pressing the space bar when you enter the product key.

  • Product key on the laptop does not work

I have a windows product key 7 on my laptop, but it won't work to reinstall windows 7 on my pc.  Recently my windows startup files I screwed up and I couldn't boot into windows more.  How can I use the product key at the bottom of my laptop to re-install windows7?

The disk or reinstall media you used to install Windows 7, it matches the product key? Or have you just used a disk for a different edition? Is the key product for Windows 7 Starter, basic family, Home Premium, professional or ultimate edition?

How did you start the reinstallation?

New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press F8 on the keyboard until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears on the screen.

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

    Vista Windows

There are three ways to correct this
    (1) back to the original installation - assuming that the one who did the installation just ran the upgrade rather than a custom installation (is there a "windows.old. This folder?)
    (2) buy a copy of Windows 7, which corresponds to the current installation and use the key from that to make your authentic system
    (3) use your manufacturer to return to the initial installation system recovery disks.

Note that options 1 and 3 can lead to data loss - so make sure that you back up your data on external backup first!
