  What you say is logic and sense, you enter 500 then delete 00 then add 00 in inputText perspective there is no change in place, therefore, the converter does not occur because there is no changes occur.

  To do something like that you can do a work around using javascript. You can follow these steps:

  1. Select af:inputText and bind it to the backbean

  2 - Add clientListener and serverListener inside inputText as:

  3 - Add handelEnterButton as javascript method:

• AF:inputListOfValues sets the value of the first item in the result set when using enter key or tab and component value autosubmit = true

  I use JDev 11.1.1.6 and when I type in a value in an af:inputListOfValues element and press enter or the tab key, it will replace the value I entered with the first element in the set of results LOV. If enter a value, simply click on the component af:inputListOfValues it works correctly. If I use the popup and find a value it works properly as well. I have a programmatic view object that contains a single transitional attribute (this is the view object that is used to create the list of the components of the value of) and then I have another object from view based on entities which defines one of its attributes in a list of the attribute value. I tried to use a base object view of entity to create the LOV to and everything works as expected, so I don't know if this is a bug when using programmatic view objects or if I need more code in the VOImpl.   I found a solution to this problem. It seems that, when using a view object programmatic that has a transient as its primary key attribute, you need to override the methods in the ViewObjectImpl so that he knows how to locate the line related to the primary key when the view object records are not in the cache.   In my application, I have a loop 'for' where I read some values from a device. (strings and digital)

  As you know Labview 'stores' values up to what the loop 'for' is completed, and then they come out in a table.

  I want to just use the first element for strings and digital and then do something with it, like to compare (for digital)

  For strings, I used successfully 'Split 1 D Array' and choose 'everything first subarray'. Good.

  Now for digital that works too, but the result is an element, array type too. I need to be digital (decimal) is not no table type, because I need to compare (greater than 0). Then use a case...

  So, table of an element in a digital decimal? Or the table at the first decimal element. How?

  I tried also with the subset of the table. Even think. Labview won't let me compare a table 1 d with 0. It makes sense, but how to convert, to have the first decimal element?

  Try to use the 'Index Array' function. If you do not connect to the terminal of the index value, it will return the first elelemnt in the table. If wire you an index, it will return the value specified.

  We'll call the lines whose the_value =-1 'good' lines and lines with the_value! =-1 ranks of 'bad '.

  In my demo application, there are a couple of selectOneChoice drop down LOV which are based on the query based VO. The UnselectedLabel property is set to "No Selection". These LOVs are used to filter the set of query data. When the drop down menus are not called and the push of a button, the LOVs, behind the stage, have the first value of the attribute that is assigned automatically. Is there a way to ciircumvent the issue without the implementation of valueChangeEventListener?

  It's not like you have implemented correctly.

  1. the error message says:

  On the screenshot, it is clear that the name of the variable is "fromLovValue" and not "vLocvalue". Please make sure you use the correct name.

I tried to use commands such as Chnclasspeak3 and chnpeakfind, but they were not useful for me. What I need is the Max values and average of the different cycles numbers saved in the data channel.

  Exampld if the string contains 5 numbers of repetitive cycles, then we must find the maximum values and the average of these 5 cycles in the single channel. Attached reference data. This is the .raw file and I have the plugin for it to use in diadem 11.1.

• difference of initial value of string between the steps in the process and an external instance of LabWindows/CVI

  I'm curious to know what I see using TestStand, LabWindows/2013 2013 with regard to initial in TestStand string values when you perform the steps in the process or an external instance of LabWindows/CVI.

  I have a step (CVI) string value that is used to check an array of characters stored in an EEPROM to test.  I pass on the Step.Result.String in the CVI by reference.  I then read the table charater of the EEPROM in the chain (Step.Result.String).  The string is then compared against the limit as specified in the test step breast.

  When I run this test step to perform the steps in the process selected in the popup Configuration of the adapter of LabWindows/CVI, it seems that the memory allocated for the string is filled with null characters.  Which is what I expected.

  When I run this test step to execute the steps in an external instance of LabWindows/CVI iselected of the Configuration of the adapter of LabWindows/CVI popup, it seems that the memory allocated for the string is filled with something else.  That is not what I expected.  For example what I see in the memory, it's the first characher is one byte NULL but the remaining bytes are some other values, as shown below:

  In my code I make sure to write a null character in the following location table charater I just write in the chain so I have no problem with the test is working properly.  I have remove the writing from my code null character and was able to verity that the test passes when executing the steps in the process and fails during execution of the steps in an external instance of LabWindows/CVI.

  The returned string contains what I wrote for her, and then the rest of the string is filled with the values that are in the memory allocated for the string.

  Here's my Question: is this the expected behavior for the original string values in TestStand between both types of stage performances?

  In general teststand not Initializes the unused portion of the string buffer, so it is expected that the values of the memory after character no endpoint will be different, or even to each call. If you happen to be get zeros after the null terminator which was probably due to random character (i.e. the memory allocated just arrived already having zeros in there) or perhaps a debug setting you use perhaps in the Visual C runtime (if you are debugging the process in visual studio or modify visual C runtime heap parameter). TestStand is not initializaing memory after the null terminator character in both cases (I checked the code).

  I assume that you use a while loop to keep the updated value.

  Add a record to offset to your looping it initialize with a U32 (time in ms)

  Add the registry to offset to your loop that keeps the previous value of your bool

  When your reaches the threshold value => the light and set the current time in your shift register.

  I tried to use my Logitech joystick button to trigger events.  I read several messages and LV help on how to register for events, and I have not found exactly what I need.

  I understand that events are generally not triggered by contributions of NON-INTERFACE, but I keep reading messages that make it sound possible.  Book LV Basics II says: "NOTE of Clusters are the only container objects for which you can generate events.  LabVIEW generates events control for clusters, before it generates events for the objects they contain, except in the case of the value change event.  They Value Change event generates the event part of the cluster, click the cluster itself. »

  So, the gamepad buttons and axes are in clusters and I'm trying to detect a change in value for items in a cluster (see the attached below .VI), but the event is not the trigger.  If I press the button 9 on the broomstick, the LED should light and channel indicator should say that the event has been triggered.  It is a simplification of what I'm trying to do, but I think that if I can do this simple case work, I can do the rest.

  Oh, I think that we have understood what you have when asked. We all said that you need ASK the joystick in a LOOP
