Value of temperory in the object view

Dear all,

I'm trying to set the value of in the view object temperory, because I have 2 lists drop-down town and the country where the country is defined in the table and the city is not in the set table. So to create cascading drop down list I created a temp and view object attribute assigning LOV from which it loads as LOV cascading also. All the features work very well.
But the problem is that when I select the city (Oracle Bisnuess component browser) it gives me an exception:
* (Oracle.jbo.ReadOnlyAttrException) Houston-27008: QueryValues_Temp attribute in the object EMAIL_TEMPLATE_MASTER_VO1 view cannot be set.*

where QueryValues_Temp is my domain temperory... I tried to set the same field in the view object as...
If you have any idea how should I tackle this problem?

-Thank you

Check the properties of the attribute - attribute view in the dialog box change the attribute - and make sure that the attribute is updateable, i.e. set it always. The exception, it seems that it is not editable.

  • Master - Detail of the object View and Javabean

    I have a table with data from VO (database, let's say in table A). This table has Id, name and processId table. I also have a second table below the first table, what data comes from a javabean (source data not DB). I created this bean data control, which in turn, I created the second table.
    What I want to achieve, it is when a user to select a row in the first table, I wish that the second table is updated according to the processId value of the selected row in the first table.
    Would you share how to do it?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    my Oracle Magazine July/August 2012 column covers a similar use case of Web Services that work in a relationship master / detail with ADF business components view objects. In this article I recommend using the programmatic view objects and entities that this ensures the consistency of the master / detail is handled by the template and cannot be controlled manually on the view layer. I think that the possibility of using a JavaBean domain controller and synchronize it with the object View is a valid option, however, if the rest of your application using ADF business components then I would consider programmatic view objects (and entities if the app is CRUD to the POJO too)

    Here's a sample and a good report:

    JDeveloper version - 11.1.1.7.0

    I did this video Building WS to an existing of ADF - Insider ADF application for the integration of web services SOAP at my request. It worked fine until I added a variable binding to the my view object (after which she stopped recovery of values). I tried checking the log by modifying the FINEST logging level as proposed for ADF BC Logging none of the mistakes. Please help me on changes to make it work.

    ERROR when using ViewCriteria in search of Service BC ADF

  • Values not passed to the service VIEW FML

    Hello

    Use Tuxedo10g R3 on AIX 5.3.

    I wrote a Tuxedo application model that takes the customer data and transmit these data to the Service via FML VIEW dependent and the server converts the data passed in capital letters and return to the customer...

    I created the table field and FML VIEW dependent file and set the required environment variables and I built the client and the server.

    After running the object module is called the service, but the values are not passed to the service and the data is not converted to uppercase.

    The table field file is as follows:
    "sampfml" 4 lines, 159 characters
    # name number type flags comments
    Chain of FIRSTSTR1 110-
    Chain of SECONDSTR1 111-
    String of 112 THIRDSTR1 -
    FML VIEW dependent:

    String firststr FIRSTSTR1 1-10. \0
    String secondstr SECONDSTR1 1-10. \0
    String thirdstr THIRDSTR1 1-10. \0
    END
    environment variables that I put are:

    #

    Hello

    In the server program, you must call FVFTOS to convert the COBOL record FML buffer, then do the translation. After that, you must also call 'FVSTOF' to convert it back to FML. I can get the correct results with your program with these changes.

    In addition, in your client program FILLING only given size 10, not compatible with the side server, which is 30. I use the same size in the client and the server.
    I also interested in why do you use style convert FML/VIEW? If both a pure COBOL, just with VIEW program is easier programming, just a suggestion.

    Hi all

    I created approval system where I maintain newspaper which is based on a table (ApprovalLog) that contain the attribute as (approve_status, approved_by, Agencycode, approved_date).

    and I also create a display object that is based on the table (AgencyApproval). which is also contains some default field approval_status ' not

    I have create a jsf page using this object display and do drag drop as adf table now, I want to when change approve_status user field and click on commit button then

    a new line created on the ApprovalLog table and the values of column as (agencycode, approve_status, approved_by) comes from AgencyApproval table.

    How can I do this in the ADF.

    Please answer.

    Manish

    It's the weekend, what do you expect?

    You can override the method prepareForDML of the EO AgencyApproval and get the other VO (ApprovalLog) and creating a line of paper here. Here's a sample:

        @Override
        protected void prepareForDML(int i, TransactionEvent aTransactionEvent)
        {
            // mLogger.info("prepareForDML op:" + i);
            // olny add something if hte operation is insert or update
            if (i != EntityImpl.DML_DELETE)
            {
                String depName = this.getDepartmentName();
                if (depName == null)
                    depName= "";
                this.setDepartmentName(depName + "---");
                DummyViewImpl vo = (DummyViewImpl)this.getDBTransaction().findViewObject("ApprovalLogView1"); // change it to the name of your VO
                DummyViewRow row = (DummyViewRow)vo.createRow();
                // set the values ...
                row.setValue(getDepartmentId());
                vo.insertRow(row);
            }
            super.prepareForDML(i, aTransactionEvent);
        }

  • Problem with deleting line in the object view

    Hello

    I get the reference to the line of display object using pageContext.getParameter (EVENT_SOURCE_REFERENCE)

    can I remove this particular row of the view object using this reference...

    What makes the user does is...

    The user has created a line in the table using the addrows button and without entering the data in the same row that he wants to delete this line. In this case, we have no primary key to delete this line by performing an iteration using RowSetIterator

    Please tell me how to remove that particular line even I do not data in the same row

    Hello

    You can use the below (may be u require to change a bit)

    super.processFormRequest (pageContext, webBean); Am = (OAApplicationModule) pageContext.getApplicationModule (webBean) OAApplicationModule;
    Event string = pageContext.getParameter ("event");

    If .equals (event)) ("")
    {
    Get the identifier of the event PPR source line
    String rowReference = pageContext.getParameter (OAWebBeanConstants.EVENT_SOURCE_ROW_REFERENCE);
    Line OARow = (OARow) am.findRowByRef (rowReference);

  • Decode in the object view

    Hi all

    I use JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.0, i have two attribute of type String (DescriptionLanguage1,DescriptionLanguage2 ) in my display object

    I use Decode to change Description of language choice of the user as:

    decode (: p_user_lang, 1, DescriptionLanguage1, DescriptionLanguage2) Description in my display object.

    Is this a good practice?

    Kind regards

    It is a practice. According to the data model and your use case, it may be the only one.

    You can try something like https://tompeez.wordpress.com/2014/03/05/using-one-viewobject-for-global-lookup-data-part-3-multi-language-support/ where data of person in charge of language that I would do it in a table and added the data on the fly.

  • Reg - way to remind the previous view state?

    Hello

    I have the following requirement:

    In mobile application, the home screen has a text control input and button. Text input will contain a service URL (value supplied at run time), when the button is clicked, the URL (specified in the text box) will be executed using the HTTPService component. The resulting value will be bound to a list item. Next view (see details) will be launched on the selection of the list item with the value of selectedItem. The details view has 'Back' button, press the button "return" the view House will be launched. Launch of view of the House from the view of details that I need to maintain previous state (resulting value) as it is. How can I implement this?

    Note: I don't want to let the user make a contribution and a fire department to each return back to "view details".

    I just tried and can able to pass and return the value of the URL with "navigator.poppedViewReturnedObject", but it requires needs to pull a new HTTPservice launch "Home view" of "show details". How to overcome this? or am I understood wrongly?

    Can you help me with your knowledge and your experince?

    Thank you and best regards,

    Mathon

    Hi Mathieu,

    You can use the persistence Manager.

    If I understand you correct. These links can help you achieve what you want.

  • How to view the ADSAccount.displayNamePrintable in the object browser

    We use D1IM Version 6.1.3. If we open the object browser, you open a user account object AD ADSAccount table, we cannot see the value of this object in the attribute "displayNamePrintable. If we develop this attribute in the line 'New' and 'Old' is written the following message:

    «User accounts to active Directory: look at a permission denied for 'Simple view' value.»

    How can I display the value of this attribute in the object browser without the help of the SQL commands?

    Thanks for all replies.

    Have you tried to activate the TargetSystem\ADS\Exchange2000 ConfigParm that should do the trick. Be sure to compile the database after you enable the configuration setting.

  • LOV depending on the separate View object with ViewCriteria

    Hello

    I use JDev 12.1.3. My use case is the following - I've simplified as much as I can. I insert and update the SFGroupUser table, but I want the LOV to the UserID field be limited to only the users that are connected to today's society through the SFCompanyUser table. Here is the structure of the table:CompanyGroupUserTables.png

    The key point is that when you assign users (SFUser) (SFGroup) groups in the SFGroupUser table, not all users may be assigned to a group because the groups are part of the business and the users are associated with one or more companies. Could not assign a user to a group that belongs to a company that the user is not assigned to. If GroupID 1 belongs to CompanyID 1 and 1 UserID is also assigned to number 1 in the SFCompanyUser table, then Pseudo1 can be assigned to GroupID 1.

    In my ADF application, I created the entity objects and visualization of objects for all tables and all associations and links. I configured the perspective in the AppModule have a master relationship / detail like this:

    CompanyGroupUserAM.png

    In the SFGroupUserView I put in place a LOV to the UserID field. Is this LOV I want to limit just users who are assigned to the current society (the master of the relationship master / detail). It is possible to limit the LOV uses a separate view object, in this case a SFCompanyUser based, where society is today's society?

    I worked with a view read-only as the LOV object. This VO joins SFCompanyUser and SFUser and has a view with a parameter of binding criteria for the CompanyID information. It seems that it is the way to go, but I do not see how to assign the current CompanyID to the variable binding.

    Another point. I read different things, including corner Code article http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/44-restrict-lov-169186.pdf of Frank Nimphius. In this article, it updates a variable binding in a listener of the popup. I would like to have all the logic to stay in business if possible components. The idea is that the JSF page displays data controls in the form of a table of editable with a menu item drop-down selectOneChoice.

    Kind regards

    Steve

    I solved my problem. The precious documentation carried out since the development of the Fusion of Web Applications with document Oracle Application Development Framework in section 5.12, in particular section 5.12.2 - How to define cascading lists LOV-Enabled view object attributes: https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1213/adf/develop/adf-bc-vo-queries.htm#ADFFD349.

    Using a view criteria named in the view LOV object was correct. When the attribute of username in the SfgroupuserView view object has been configured to use the LOV, a view accessor was created for the SfgroupuserView. The accessor view points to the LOV view object. Edition of the accessor of view I said to use the criteria of view named object View LOV. The problem was that the ID of the company in the main table (sfgroup) was not an attribute of the SfgroupuserView view object, so I was not able to assign a value to the variable binding. So, I added the entity sfgroup as one of the entities that the SfgroupuserView was based on and then added the companyID attribute. I then used the new attribute companyID as the value to be assigned to the variable binding, the criteria of display for the view LOV object in view accessor.

    Now, everything works well in the AppModule. When you insert a new record in SfgroupuserView1 the user's selection is a drop-down list that displays only users assigned to today's society.

  • Insert the value in table in the business object

    Hi all

    I want to send a request to a web service (via the SOAP component) which accepts the array as one of the input parameters.

    I am confused.i can set table in the subject of Bussiness, but she accepts no values.how can I insert value in it.

    can someone guide me?

    Thanks for providing the XSD.

    That I can tell that you are using Oracle BPM 12 c.  It's a good thing for you, because the insertion of new elements in an array in 11g is a little more difficult.  Ignore all my previous posts on this thread, because they are needed only for 11g.

    Here's an Oracle BPM 12 c project you can download that uses your XSD and fills the chart "to" inside her: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwqetn0fpi74SE1TM2swR3VJMXM/view?usp=sharing

    Included is a video you can watch that goes through this, but the steps to add items to an XSD based table in Oracle BPM 12 c using Groovy script are:

    1 use your XSD in the thread above to create a new business object in the catalog (remove the '///it's table."comment in your XSD before doing so).

    2. Add a new object to process data in your process that uses this business object (a process known as "amin" in my process data object (I added).  Add another object to process of string data (I added one called "newItemToAdd").

    3. Add a Script of the activity in your process of-> right mouse click-> click on 'go to the Script.

    4 with the dialog script Groovy upward, to add a single element to your table add this Groovy script:

    "amin" and "newItemToAdd" are the objects of load data useful process added in step 2

    Amin.to.Add ("0" + newItemToAdd)

    5. to prove that multiple items can be added to the table at the same time, add this logic below.  The text in the square brackets could be a set separated by commas of string variables that would have been added to the table:

    for (int i = 1; i)< 5;="" i++)="">

    amin.to.addAll ([i + "" + newItemToAdd])

    }

    Hope this helps,

    Dan

  • Relationship between the objects in view with bind variable executed by program

    Hello

    I am trying to create a view link between two objects in view that are query based something like this:

    firstVO

    1. Select P1 in XXX_Table where P2 =: BindVariable1 and

    P3 =: BindVariable2;

    secondVO

    2. Select B1, B2, B3, B4, 1 m env in YYY_Table where B5 =: BindVariable1 and

    B6 =: BindVariable2 and

    B7 =: BindVariable3;

    concatenation of a string of the query above in AMImpl as 'and B8 in ('P1.a', 'P1.b', 'P3.c')' in the AMImpl

    I will execute queries above, based on the variable bind entered by the user in the AMImpl.

    I need to create a link to firstVO.P1 and secondVO.P1 with a 1-based view to * cardinality.

    the problem is when I try to drop the secondVO which is an accessor to the firstVO as a master-child relationship with master table form and as a child, I don't see the details of the child when I iterate the master shape.

    I got my problem solved, the problem was that the master and the children were not in the sink, we can define the child VO by substituting preparerowsetforquery... explained clearly in the post below.

    Thank you

  • Update the view of the objects when existing entity object is changed

    I created display objects of entity objects.  recently, I added a function that creates a guid in a field to these entity objects.  a little, I suppose that if I open the view related object, it would show this guid generator function in the default value field.  but it does not.

    so, you can synchronize the view objects and entity objects with the database, how you synchronize objects of respective view when their principal object attribute properties is changed?

    Thank you

    By default in EO and VO properties are not related.

    In OE, the default value is applied when you create a new line.

    Vo, the default value is applied to the transition attribute.
