• Answering machine in off-contact form

  Dear community of Muse!

  I'm looking for over an hour, but did not find an answer to my question, sorry if already posted the same question.

  I wanted to ask if it is possible to create an autoresponder for the contact form standard muse. Or the second question, if mail could not send "site" but the email address that is entered in the "e-mail" box. Then I would create an autoresponder on the backend of my host.

  The plan must be:

  -L' user fills in the form with his electronic mail address

  -the site will send with completed but to a specified e-mail address an e-mail to the e-mail address of the user

  -the answering machine will send a response to the e-mail address of the user.

  I really hope that there is possibility :-)

• 11i forms not opening after installation

  I installed oracle 11i applications in windows 2003 R2 32 bit.

  When installing, nothing error came in sine qua non and post steps also.

  
  

  Installation also completed successfully, but cannot open forms, no error display for this problem.

  But at the opening of the forms, always his demand to install jinitiator if its installed also again asked to install jinitiator.

  Please help me solve this problem.

  Thanks for the support.

  The problem has been solved now.

  Solution:

  After installing 11i,

  I installed jinitiator 1.3.1.21.

  And installed Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.20.

  Now open 11i forms.

  Because of browser only we have faced this problem.

  After forms of installation not opening not. We tried different browsers as.

  Solution:

  Right click my computer-> properties-> Advanced-> performance (settings)-> exec data...-> Add the java.exe andsave changes.

  I work a DPS for a company that wants to be able to continualy updated news directly on its website through its cms and at the same time as the live data update in a filed or form in his DPS.

  The customer Web site / cms is built by our care in Coldfusion, if that helps.

  Hi all

  I have a client that I have developed a website.

  She bought godaddy hosting, reserved his domain with godaddy and bought a godaddy email address which is the domain name. For example, his site is www.MySite.com, his email address is [email protected].

  I created a form of Muse and set his field "e-mail to" to send to her email ([email protected]).

  The service of electronic mail from godaddy (which uses Outlook 365 as their webmail client) will not accept and recognize the e-mail sent by the form with the form data, so my client never receives the news of form in his email ( [email protected]).

  If I configure the field "e-mail to" the shape of the Muse to any other email address... This works, however, we want to receive the email to the address [email protected]

  GoDaddy said that his e-mail server will not accept messages from an e-mail address that is the domain name (which is meaningless for me).

  They suggest that the form be reprogrammed to show his e-mail as being sent to another domain name. Forms of the muse do not offer this option.

  Has anyone else been by there yet?

  You have a work around that allows us to use the email address, we want (in the Muse "send to" field)?

  Looks like your only option is to create a Gmail or hotmail account to have it go and automatically transmitted to the correct e-mail address.

  Ask your host where form to e-mail script transformation you can use.   Some hosts are preinstalled scripts on the server.  If your host doesn't have a script, you can use, know your server supports what scripting languages (PHP, ASP, Perl, etc...)  This will determine what type of script, you must find.

  If your server supports PHP, this DB Master formm@ailer script is very good.  It has built in spam prevention and it hides the email address of fishermen.

• Problems after clicking on the Submit button in a form

  Hello people I'm new to the Forum. I have an IMac with OS Snow Leopard 10.6.4. I just finished my first Web site using dreamweaver CS4 and there style with CSS. I have also built a simple form using the tools 'Spry validation form' with a name and e-mail along with a "submit" button text boxes. When I saw my site in Safari and Firefox, and fill in the details with my own name and email address then click on the button submit, my e-mail "New Message" window opens. What should appear?  shouldn't I have a message "form sent.

  If a user entered text fields with coordinates and then clicks the Submit button should not he see also message 'Send form', not his new e-mail window.

  As I have not downloaded the site and yet I thought I would fix the code. I'm not sure as to the time code is incomplete.

  My another brief question is, is it wise to get an overview of the sites in browsers other than Safari and Firefox

  I'd appreciate any help offered.

  This is what happens when you use mailto Action of forms. It is not completely reliable and should be avoided. To send the form, you need a form mail script on the server side. First check if your host can provide a suitable to your hosting plan. If this is not the case, check back for some suggestions.

  My form has a data block that has elements based on the non-base of data and database table
  table. My question here is - where can I use order by clause so that I can have
  element customer number which is the database column in ascending order. If I put
  Order by customer data prevents property palette, it takes too much time in
  enforcement that obviously, I don't want to, is there another way to do it.
  
  Giving more background before I used to get all the customers in Asc order but yesterday of new customer
  has been added and now I see this particular on top customer regardless of its number is 40.
  I was wondering where Oracle forms takes his Order By default clause.
  
  My second question is my query is bit slow running is there somehow to tune part done it.here

  What would you suggest I should change in my code... I added so that other emergency because it

  Briefly: since you only have 40 customers, I would create a stored procedure (in fact a package) on the database to summarize the entire process in a single pass, (similar to my SQL more test above) and use bulk collect to take values in a PL/SQL table.

  Then call the stored procedure from your form, with a single parameter, PL/SQL table. (Must set the pl/sql table in the pkg spec and reference as a type of % in your form.) The form does not have a base of block based on the customers table, but instead, you must create a control block that displays the 40 lines. You move through the lines in the PL/SQL table and fill the frame with the numbers.

  It runs a lot faster using this method, given that you only use a single pass of the big table, and all the work is done by the database engine, with ONLY a single passage of data between your application and the database.
