• Engines: A version of the library is incompatible with the version of XNode

  I have SP1 2013 Labview and 2013 NXT Module installed f1.  I'm taking a class on Robotics where we use the Lego Mindstorms NXT module.  I have code that works very well in school, but when I load it on my laptop I get the error message: engines: library version is incompatible with the version of XNode.

  My son has the Mindstorms and I can't use the laboratory at the school (except for class) because it is open only during my work hours.

  I installed on the same disks that the school uses (their academic licences provides for this).  What should I do to get this code works on my laptop?

  The polymorphic VI you have in the block diagram is the patch of f1, but the other I think you are talking about is the equivalent of the patch of f2. If I am not mistaken, the school could have installed the fix for f2 (it would still appear as NXT 2013).

• Deploy shared in localhost Variable engine

  I need to talk to several RTs using the same computer. It seems
  easy to deploy shared variable engine (library) in localhost instead of
  RT. However, the problem is the shared variables (read) used in localhost screws
  are not updated to RTs. But when I use a different local VI to update
  the shared variable, it works fine. The variable path of the RT
  as "\\My Computer\Local NPSVlvlib\Test
  Data '. I think that this is the problem, why the values are not updated
  because the RT cannot resolve the path network ("\\My
  ("Computer\Local NPSVlvlib\Test Data"). Also, I tried to change the shared
  variable path in the CR, but I couldn't do it. Need help!

  I think I found the problem. Firewall was the culprit. I disabled the firewall and it started working like charm.

So at the moment I suspect that there is an integration issue somewhere between the different tools in question, the IDE, SDK, the Simulator.

  I had a little more time to play with this morning and have been able to track down what happens then...

• Digital electronics FPGA Board Hardware Driver for Windows 10

  My son just made me aware that his school has a dozen of National Instruments Digital Electronics FPGA boards, but they have never been able to get them to work or actually use them in the curriculum. It seems that he has left his instructor know that I worked with FPGA Xilinx for more than 10 years and now everyone counting on me to get these maps work. The issue seems to be the USB driver. According to the manual, I tried DEFB2012_5_2.exe which simply refused to run on this machine Win 10 x 64. DEFB_4_3.exe ran, but complained that LabView components have not been installed and that it would not continue. Could someone tell me please how to install USB driver ONLY so that we can download files of bits with IMPACT? In terms of a school budget, the investment they have in these maps is not negligible.   I hope I can clear some things here. I'm sorry that you run in so many questions with your boards OF FPGA.

  First of all, direct responses:

  The LabVIEW FPGA 2015 driver should install the components needed to use the Board with Xilinx tools on WINDOWS 7, it will not work on any system more recent that the pilot has been developed before the release of Windows 8 and 10.

  My recommendation for Windows 8 or 10 is rather install Xilinx ISE you find on Xilinx website or on the downloads page OR:

  The difficulty that you face here is that tool Xilinx ISE is officially supported only on Windows 7 and below. So even though I think it will work (and it will move to the difference in the link of the above driver OF FPGA) for Windows 8 and 10, you can continue to deal with certain issues.

  Now you are all looking to program the FPGA using an HDL, Multisim and LabVIEW? If you just use an HDL, you should be all set to go and in the dev environment, you had planned using the program. • Captivate aggregator 6 will not display .swf inserted into the project

  My co-worker is developing a course of Captivate (6 Captivate, Windows 7) and a separate project with a review quiz.

  In addition, he created 4 Captivate separate projects to record software simulations, published.

  The main dish of Captivate, he inserted in the model simulations .swf files so that when slip load of 22-25, a simulation plays - one on each slide.

  Publication, it all works very well, until the aggregator is used to group the course and review quiz. Now, when the aggregator published file is started, everything works fine until the slide 22. The space where the simulation is inserted is just a white square.

  This happens on all 4 slides with the inserted .swf files.

  All the published files are in the same folder.

  The model simulations .swf files are in the library.

  Captivate SWF to be nested inside other Captivate swf is a recipe for problems.  We have repeatedly emphasized that on this forum. Please avoid this practice.

  All the simulations created with exactly the same version of Captivate as is used to create the file that generates the final SWF file?  If this isn't the case, which could be part of the issue because aggregated SWFs need to share the same version of Captivate.

  I would recommend that instead of insert a SWF file published in the project, your friend must copy and paste the slides used to generate these simulation SWF files.  This is a workflow that works much more reliably.

  That looks like the code used MathScript. In current versions of LabVIEW MathScript is an add-on. That you buy. So, you can:

  • Rewrite the code to not use MathScript

  • Use an alternative solution. Scilab can work for you.

I want to send serial data to AD5700 using UART interface and then see the corresponding analog output signal varying in frequency (based on the binary data that is sent to AD5700) on HART_Output. Unfortunately, after a search too, I could not find Multisim for IC AD5700 library file.

  I'm developing an application of Extension VPN using Cascades ui and latest available Momentics IDE.

  I've already implemented the environment, Simulator and properly built and and deployed on simple sample of waterfalls Simulator with tabs. Everything works very well, very well.

  After learning the documentation for the library of Extensions of VPN, I faced troubled: if I add the Add Assistant library libvpn_ext library integrated throgh, project fails to build with the configuration of the Simulator. With device setup project creates correct. If I understand correctly, the problem is missing x 86 version of libvpn_ext library.

  libvpn_ext is not currently supported in 10 of BlackBerry Simulator.  I asked he added in a later version.
