So, from the start of my screen is empty and Caps Lock flashes 2 times.  I tried the Windows key + B + power key without success as indicted here:

I tried to recover the BIOS with an external storage device but HP's Software and driver download page does not have BIOS updated.  I've updated for Windows 10.

Where is the BIOS update that is supposed to be here? :

This model seems to have a lot of problems with what I find it everywhere on the internet, but the solutions all return to the download of the update of the BIOS.  I noticed that I can download an update for Windows 8.1.  Are there not one for Windows 10 yet?  Can I use the 8.1?

The BIOS in the list of drivers of Windows 8 is the last exit for your model. You can use it regardless of the operating system because the BIOS recovery is run outside of Windows.

BTW-to help the Windows key + B keys. When you press and release the power button / continue to hold the buttons for a few seconds see if BIOS recovery screen appears. I know that it is different from the document - but try it.

  • HP Envy 15-j139TX: the BIOS using external storage recovery does not work.

My HP Envy 15-j139TX got stuck (frozen) and I force closure by long pressing the power button. I tried to start by pressing the power button, it shows a black screen (display off) and the capslock continues to Flash.

I did research on the problem and discovered that the issue was "the BIOS corruption failure" according to the information on the link below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01732674/

I tried to recover the BIOS using an external storage device by following the instructions at the link below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02693833

But it did not work. The lights keep flashing. I have my files b.SC. thesis on the computer and their need for pronto. (If not my life is pretty well made)

I also couldn't find the files for version 10 of Windows (64-bit) to my laptop, so I tried with one I downloaded from another site and I got a BIOS of Windows 8.1 HP site.

Is there anyway I can fix it soon or get my files as soon as possible. Help, please!

Have you ever updated the BIOS before?

If you have, you should be able to recover the BIOS using the Windows key + key B method.

All holding the key Windows + B button down, press the power button and wait to see if the laptop responds with a message of recovery of the BIOS on screen.

As my wife continued his mastery, I insisted on his recording of his files periodically to our home network NAS.

You can remove the hard drive and connect it to a desktop computer to get the files from it. You can connect the hard drive to a USB to sata cable to connect it to a laptop.   Instructions to access the disk by opening the back door are on page 42 of the maintenance and service guide. The hard drive is part replaceable by the user, so you don't have to worry about voiding the warranty.

You will need at least 256 MB usb key to create a USB rcovery to recover the BIOS with. BIOS update softpaq will offer the opportunity of creating a recovery USB. I used the method on multiple occasions and it worked for me.

  • An application uses the 1.8 GB of storage - why?

I used my first iPad of gen Air for a few years without problem. Lately, I've been running short of storage space. When I visit "manage storage" in the settings, I see that a single application, Washington Post, using 1.8 GB of storage space. It comes as many times the amount used by any other application and a new problem with this one.

I used iPads since first, they came out, and it is a new issue for me.  Can someone tell me what is the cause, and that I could do about it?

I wonder if the app is now what you viewed through the application, or if it has downloaded videos or something.

I'm not familiar with the application, but you can look to see if there is some kind of library or something.

assuming that the app is still in the App store, you could always delete, which could remove the data associated with it, then re - download and see how much space it takes up

the rest of the device used to "ready boost" can be used as a storage

    Hi Sam,

You cannot use the available space on the Flash DRIVE or flash memory card in your computer that is used for ReadyBoost.

ReadyBoost to effectively speed up your computer, the flash drive or memory card should have at least 1 gigabyte (GB) of available space. If your drive or the card doesn't have enough available space for ReadyBoost, you'll see a message telling you to free space on this subject. For best results, use a Flash DRIVE or flash memory card with at least double the amount of available space as the amount of memory (live RAM) on your computer.

For more information about ReadyBoost, see this article:

ReadyBoost (valid also for Windows 8)

I use MS SQL 2008 R2 SP1 Express, which is supported by this version of vCenter. There are also a lot of free space on the disk of the server (63 GB free). Ko 2078305 does not explain this particular warning message and the data of events for task and retention policy are also defined.

So, what should be the problem? What are the conditions to trigger this alert?

    And according to this article:

It seems that I need to configure to use a replacement storage adapter. But I can't find a relative configuration on my workstation.

    Best regards

A download cannot certainly be corrupted, even if it seems normal... The only way to be sure is to compare the size of the file and checksum of the file MD5 or SHA1 against those reported on the download site.

If you have verified the integrity of the file on the source and it still does not work, please send the file vmware.log of the directory of the virtual machine as an attachment and I'll take a look.  To attach a file, look for the Browse... button when you compose your answer... it'll be just above the key Message Post - please do not copy - paste in a response.

    Thank you

  • Use the case of the Cluster data without DRS storage store?

Can someone tell me please the use case of the Cluster data without DRS storage store?

    Virtually no,.

The only one that is useful is the aggregation of resources of data warehouses in a cluster data store. But it is aggregation of resources in its crudest form. When you create a virtual machine and the use of a cluster as the destination data store, you must always select the data store that will store the virtual machine.

    Storage DRS off =

    No calculation of initial investment

    No space load balancing

    No I/O load balancing

    No rule affinity VMDK

    No maintenance mode

For this purpose a group of data without active DRS storage store is a kind of a data store folder.

  • ESXi embedded using the merge sees not local storage.

    All the:

Thanks in advance for the help. I am new to the Fusion software. Yesterday I wanted to try my hat installation nested ESXi and some VM to play with some of the features of vSphere. I installed 6 Fusion on my MacBook Pro and then install ESXi in my instance of Fusion.  Full ESXi installation without any error.  I then connect to the ESXi Server nested through the c# client so that I could then begin the installation of my 'test' in this environment. The first thing I noticed then on the client, it's only storage who sees the nested ESXi is the drive on which it is installed on and none of my other local storage?  I do my best to try to understand what could be the cause?  Is there something that I need to configure again or add?

Once again, thank you in advance for your help.

You must add the data store in the GUI, simply choose 'Add the data store' and assistants will show a new.

  • Support the rMBP 2015 13 "NVMe storage?

    Other users of greetings,

I'm looking to upgrade the SSD drive in my rMBP 2015 13 "model that currently owns the storage of PCIe 128 GB:s. Now, I know that the connector used for the SSD in the new MacBook is not a normal m2 connector, but this problem is easily solved by using an adapter, I already bought

Anyway, my real question is who is in the title. Anyone of you happen to know if the rMBP 2015 13 "media storage NVMe? As far as I've heard, it only supports AHCI, but since the new rMB 2016 NVMe storage, I thought that would mean that my model supports as well, because the support is granted through firmware and hardware, and I have the latest version of Mac OS (10.12).

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Best regards

    HatMine

The innards of the new sealed MBPs are not replaceable by the user. The guarantee, is not supported, is undocumented, and therefore, is probably verboten being discussed in these places according to the terms of USE.

Bravo to you if it works and can the resultant Frankenstein work well for a long time.

  • Verification of the compatibility conducted and ultra firefox slow

When I started Firefox yesterday (19/05/2015), he said that she was performing a verification of the compatibility of Firefox Add-ons and has been really slow. Entry of a same character is lagging far behind what anyone typing in Firefox. I tried Firefox rearmament and deletion of the recent modules. Firefox seems to work OK in Mode without failure.

Hi Pubdef, try Disabling graphics hardware acceleration. You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    1. Open the Firefox Options tab as follows, click on the menu button

      then select Options .

    2. In the Options of Firefox tab, click Advanced, and then select general.
    3. You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Uncheck this box.
    4. Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

This solve your problems? Please report to us!

    Thank you.

  • should I get the 32 gig and increase storage icloud or get the 128 gig?

Should I get the 32 gig and increase storage icloud or get the 128 gig?

iCloud can't complete really the iPads of storage on board. You can't have apps to run from iCloud, you can't the films played to iCloud, etc...

If you plan to use more than the 32GBs go for bigger sizes.
