I have gift? t know how long warranty period is in your country, but especially about 2 years ago. Try to contact the Service partner in your country and speak with them. Maybe is it possible to fix it.

  • Two vertical lines on my LCD screen

    Please, help me...

Two vertical lines about 2 inches, width is one black and one white.

They appear on my lcd screen in the middle of the left since the start. Always in the same position.

Later, when the desktop appears, we the black remains black and a white becames an occasional color (or a combination of several mobile colors).

I tried to use an external monitor, and I didn't have the problem.

I tried with 'doctor test' PC hardware, but all the tests have been adopted.

I would understand if the problem is the video driver, the LCD, the joint between the GPU and the motherboard, or the lcd. If the GPU is the problem, can I replace it without changing the motherboard or not?

My PC is Thinkpad R60 9461-DXG and he is 2 years old.

My BIOS version is 7CETD2WW (2.22)

My OS is Windows XP pro SP3.

My GPU is ATI Radeon X 1400

My version of the video driver is 8.442.3.0 03/01/2008

You can try replacing the cable of the screen first, then if that doesn't work the LCD.

The manual on how to do these replacement is here.

  • Vertical lines on the Qosmio F10

    Hello
I bought this F10 in Poland 18 months ago so warranty has expired.
I would like to correct and revive only if the repair costs will not go on the purchase of a new brand. I send you a few screens, so it may be useful to diagnose the problem. I hope that this is not the case, to get the new graphics card.
There are also the new keyboard as friend coffee spit on it. Something about 1 month later, after that an accident like coffee, computer laptop went crazy, display seems to be damaged (as on the screens), fan is running at full capacity and windows only run in safe mode with the parameters of the low screen - 800 x 600:4 bits. However I am able to change the resolution to 1296 x 800:32 bits, but the laptop works even more slowly.

Is there a chance that I can fix this? Let me know.
    Radek

I agree with Jonny. For me, the worst case scenario for damaging the material is so portable crashed or separation liquid in keyboard.

I imagine that the replacement of the material will be too expensive and best solution is to sell this laptop faulty and buy a new one.

  • Satellite M70-339 vertical lines on the screen

    Hello...

I have a Satellite M70-339, which will show only the vertical lines on the screen.
I connected an external monitor and booted in safe mode.
    I uninstalled the display drivers.
I started to monitor and reinstalled the display drivers.
The computer will now boot up screen.

I put the display to indicate to both monitor and screen.

    On the monitor, all right.
On the screen, I get vertical lines color, similar to a wallpaper (wallpaper is not pretty).

Did anyone has got any ideas what could be the problem, or how to diagnose the problem
    Any help would be appreciated.

    John C

If everything is OK on the external monitor that is the best evidence that this problem is related to the internal LCD. Display must be exchanged.

  • Satellite M60-104 - vertical lines on the LCD

    Hello guys,.

I have a Toshiba Satellite M60-104 and in recent months, I noticed vertical lines on the LCD screen. How can I solve the problem?

    Any response will be useful,

    thanx

    Hello

First of all, you should check if you have the same problem on an external monitor. So you can check if the problem is the graphics card or screen.

However, I think that the motherboard or display needs to be replaced. To do this, you can go to an authorized service provider.

    Welcome them

  • Blue vertical line on the screen

    Hello

After a day of use, I have a blue vertical line on the screen. Defective LCD screen? Tried to reapply the latest firmware, but that doesn't change anything. Other things to try before a sent an RMA?

I dunno if Newegg "corresponds to" Amazon product replacement policy is defective products: Amazon will cover the shipping costs for the return (via a pre-paid return label he sends you) but also send a replacement free of charge.  You might want to check with Newegg, if your Clip has been purchased recently.

Apart from Newegg, if you need to take advantage of the SanDisk warranty directly with her, SanDisk (at least in the United States) covers shipping as well as for the replacement that is sent back.

I have a vertical line on the left side of my screen on my G1 640 Probook - model number is T1C08UT #ABA.

I've seen other similar posts and the suggestion was to plug an external monitor. I did it and the line does not appear when hung outside. Someone at - it any other ideas? I used product Wizard and all my drivers also show to date. It is under warranty, should I just through HP warranty repairs? Thanks in advance.

Yes, thank you. It was under warranty with HP, so they fixed it. It seems they replaced the raw Panel and she came back that all fixed as good as new.

  • Qosmio G10 has vertical lines on the screen

I have a G10 which I use for the last 15 months since I bought it.
However, there are now 4 vertical lines on the screen, 2 Purple (magenta?), 1 yellow and 1 cyan. Other than these lines there are no other problems, it never fell down or something like that.

The lines are still there, they do not change in any way and are always in the same place. They appear on the screen at first power up, before the Qosmio logo lights up.

They have not all appear at the same time, they all appeared individually in the past two months. I've seen the last of them disappear briefly, then stay on.

I guess that my screen is dying slowly, I guess to be an expensive item.

Any advice thrown my way would be greatly appreciated!

I took a picture of the screen you will find at:

    http://www.imagebucket.NET/images/lldata/displaylines.jpg

Note: the photo was taken with Media Player full screen on a black image, just to clearly show the lines)

    Hello

I suggest you connect an external display to check if it's a graphics card or a display problem. If cela pipes appears also on the external screen then it could also be a problem with the graphics card.
If these lines do not appear on the external display while the display of the laptop has a malfunction.
However, this does not change your situation. I recommend you contact the Toshiba ASP to solve this problem.

  • Qosmio G15: Green vertical lines on the screen

All started an ordinary day, when I was playing music on my iTunes.
All of a sudden my screen went black and the music stopped, but my power button is always blue. Since then, whenever I try to start it, it goes on the Qosmio screen and Windows XP screen and plays the startup sound, but there all those green vertical lines on the screen. And then it goes black and tsays in this way.

I was able to use Windows VGA (whatever that means) with lines all over the screen, but I am not able to start normally. Does anyone have any suggestions or have had the same problem? Please help me!

  • Satellite P30-110: vertical lines on the screen - Virus?

I have a 110 - p30 and emerged recently vertical on my screen I have run norton AV and nothing was found is a possible virus any help appreciated because I don't want to lose all my work.

    Hi Dave

If you don't want to lose your work trial to save on a way you like it (data CD/DVD or copy files on the external HARD disk device).

I don't really know if the vertical lines are the result of some viruses, but I believe some hardware malfunction can be responsible for this. Just detailed test can give more answers. In your case the best solution is to backup all important data and preinstall the device with the recovery media. On this way the unit will be own pre-installed and you can check if the lines happen.

If so, there are certainly a hardware problem. Sorry, but in this way it is not easy to give you more answers. Please back up your data. If the problem will be much worse than what you have a big problem.

  • Tecra S1 - vertical lines on the screen

    Hello people,

IM new to this forum so first all the Hi everybody ;-).

My girlfriend bought a Tecra S1 second hand and after a few vertical lines of the month displayed on the screen. When I asked around the power button pressure lines have disappeared. But after a few minutes, the lines are back. So I thought that it was probably a problem of video and e - bay, I bought a second hand motherboard. I installed it and now after a few months I get vertical lines again. (It also happens on an external monitor).
I opened the laptop and with only the motherboard in front of me I plugged it to a monitor outside, put a little pressure on 1 side of the motherboard and the lines where go! Would that be the case?

I know that on ebay and other sites where they offer second-hand computers laptops MANY people have the same problem.

Did someone had an idea? I hope that I can fix it!

Thanks for your time and sorry for my English.

    Greetz Mark

    Hey Mark,

I doubt that people often have this problem. I put t read often about this problem, as far as I know it s thread the first on this subject.

In any case, I think that it s not unusual. I mean you bought a motherboard of second hand on eBay, so who knows how old she had and often it was used in the book. Second hand spare parts that s another story in my opinion. You're more or less luck with these parts.

I would recommend so buy a new mainboard with a provider of services authorized. It seems that you can change it yourself and so you can save a lot of money. On the Toshiba site, you can find a list of ASP.

    Good luck! :)
