vertical scroll bar only goes in one direction if used

original title: scrolling vertical bar troubleshooting

I have IE 9 with Vista, logitech wireless mouse. Recently, I had problems with my vertical scroll. If I try to go into the menu for something I don't see that it reverses back to the top before I can choose something less. If I try to adjust my sound on the taskbar, it goes back to the high and will not stay where I put it. I can use my mouse to point, but not to move the scroll bar down. I have to use my page down. I can also drag either.

What is the model of the mouse?

You can also try to change the mouse settings in the Control Panel or try to uninstall then reinstall mouse and make sure you have installed the latest drivers. You can find more information about your mouse below

  • Adobe edge animation shows unwanted vertical scroll bar in firefox only

    I doesn't seem to work if you apply too full: hidden in the object tag.
    It doesn't work if I add this attribute to the body of the animation.
    You can consider using an iframe that have scrollbars hidden instead of an object tag.

  • How to apply the vertical scroll bar to < af:selectOneChoice >?

    Hi all...

    JDeveloper Version is 11.1.1.7.1

    My use case is as follows:

    I used < af:selectOneChoice > that contains 10 items. When the user clicks on an item, instead of a list of all the Articles 10, I want only 3 items to display, remaining is displayed only when the user scroll down.

    Here is my code:

    < af:selectOneChoice label = "Numbers".

    Binding = "#{backingBeanScope.backing_scroll." Soc1}.

    ID = "soc1" >

    < af:selectItem label = "Item1" value = "One"

    Binding = "#{backingBeanScope.backing_scroll." SI1}.

    ID = "si1" / >

    < af:selectItem label = "Item2" value = "Two"

    Binding = "#{backingBeanScope.backing_scroll." SI2}.

    ID = "si2" / >

    < af:selectItem label = 'Item3' value = "Three"

    Binding = "#{backingBeanScope.backing_scroll." Si3}.

    ID = "si3" / >

    < af:selectItem label = "Item4" value = "Four"

    < af:selectItem label = "Item6" value = "Six"

    Binding = "#{backingBeanScope.backing_scroll." Si6}.

    ID = "si6" / >

    < af:selectItem label = "Item7" value = "Seven"

    Binding = "#{backingBeanScope.backing_scroll." Si7}.

    ID = "si7" / >

    < af:selectItem label = "Item8" value = "Eight"

    Binding = "#{backingBeanScope.backing_scroll." Si8}.

    Binding = "#{backingBeanScope.backing_scroll.si10} '"

    How can I accomplish this? Any suggestions?

    Hi all

    JDeveloper by default displays a vertical scroll bar if it has more than 20 Articles in selectOneChoice.

    Thank you.

  • Vertical scroll bar

    I'm looking for a good tutorial on encoding a vertical scroll bar in AS2. I Googled it but only 3 results that stood and no code advice or tutorials were given. I did a front volume in AS2 for a jukebox bar, but I'm lost on the mechanics of AS2 to a green scrollbar...

    Advice, tips or tutorials that would help me a lot!

    Same answer applies. If you look at the results, there's one in particular on a scroll for a dynamic textfield bar...

  • Horizontal & vertical scroll bar on Image-Item

    Hello
    I have an image issue... I put a button to zoom-in and zoom-out, but I noticed that when I zoom-in, I see only the top left of the image.
    How can I insert scrolling both vertical and horizontal bars so that the user can see the rest of the zoomed image?
    Any clue?

    Thank you!

    Pezzo,
    You can display bars vertical and Horizontal scrolling on the Image_Item by setting properties "Show vertical scroll bar" and 'Show horizontal scroll bar' to 'yes '. Unfortunately, you can't dynamically set these properties so that they appear only when you zoom in on the image. :-(

    I hope this helps.

    After I clicked 'Save the Message' a thought struck me that you could have two Image_Items in your form. The one with the scroll bars and the other without. Your Zoom button you could switch back and forth between the Image_Items so it would give you the effect to activate the scroll bars and turn off when you zoom / zoom back in the picture. :-)

  • How to recover the horizontal & vertical scroll bars in Outook Express

    I have XP OS House & use Microsoft Outtook Express. recently, the horizontal & vertical scroll bars disappeared from all but one of my follders. Any suggetions on how to recover these bars thanks to you all.

    I think it may have something to do with the largest compensation part of the Inbox on & leaving very few emails in there.

    I noticed that records I keep have very few emails in them are also without the scroll bar.

    Which is part of what Steve said. They will not appear if there is nothing to achieve. I'm glad that it's as simple as that.

  • No vertical scroll bar in textarea?

    A vertical scroll bar is not displayed in the textarea tag when the text overflows its vertical size. Is it normal? I tried to use the ' overflow-y: scroll; "and" overflow-y: auto; ' in the .css, nothing helps. It is only a problem in the Playbook browser, and not in FF. What gives? Thank you.

    Exactly... similar problem that happened to me also. So I used the scroll of webkit (I'm able to reproduce letters to display help) for this, but my case is to scroll a page and not to the textarea.

  • HotSync only works in one direction

    I recently moved from a PC running XP for an Imac OSX 10.5.

    I have a Tungsten E and install Palm Desktop 4.2.1 installed on Imac, open when the connection active.

    HotSync seems to work well, with no error message in the log, but looking at the result, sync'ing of the calendar is only went in one direction. A new entry in my handheld was transferred to the Imac, but a new entry on the Imac did not appear on the handheld. This never happened with the PC, in that any new entry was Sync, regardless of where it was entered.

    Any suggestions to make it work in both directions are welcome! Thank you, Alfred

    I've got it-, I think.

    For some reason, my name (the only authorized user) not was not entered in the part of little 'user' on the bar - just a message "no user". Once I fixed that it works very well! I have no idea why it didn't recognize me from the start, but I tried to synchronize both ways since then, and it worked fine.

    Thank you guys for pointing me in the right direction - I had not advanced far enough in the manual to understand how to set up.

    Cheers, John

  • Vertical scroll bar table ADF issue when multiple records.

    Hello!

    I use Oracle JDeveloper version 11.1.1.6.0.

    I have a search engine and a simple loan table show only about 1 million records.

    At the top of my search engine, I have navigation buttons (first, previous, next, last).

    So when I click the next button for example, my table will highlight the next line as expected.

    But here's the question. When I click the last button, vertical scroll bar of the table do not scroll (automatically) at the end and show, for me, the last row of table.

    How can I achieve this? When I manually scroll to the last row, I'd find highlighted but I need the vertical scroll bar in response to the last and first buttons click on even though I have a lot of lines.

    What should I do?

    Any suggestion will be highly appreciated

    Life.

    Hi Frank,.

    I found the answer. This is for anyone who ever or encounter the same problem.

    In the table properties Jsf Inspector

    I have linked my table to my java bean (I called it myRichTable).

    I added the first and last buttons as partial of my table triggers

    Java bean

    In my method last() I encluded the following line of code: myRichTable.setDisplayRow (myRichTable.DISPLAY_ROW_LAST).

    And in the first(): myRichTable.setDisplayRow (myRichTable.DISPLAY_ROW_FIRST);

    Thank you!

  • How to force the vertical scroll bar to display on each page?

    Hello

    Is it possible to force the vertical scroll bar appears on each page, even if it is not needed?

    I have a site with pages larger than the browser window, and others which are smaller. The scroll bar appears only on adults and forcing elements from left to right on the left to navigate through the pages.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    In the section header of Page Properties try adding the following code:

  • Move the vertical scroll bar of the Panel to the left of the Panel

    I have a skin Panel with the following:

    <s:Scroller id="contentScroller" height="100%" width="100%"
                     horizontalScrollPolicy="off" verticalScrollPolicy="auto">
        <s:Group id="contentGroup" width="100%" height="100%" minWidth="0" minHeight="0"/>
    </s:Scroller>

    For the life of me I can't understand how to move from contentScroller to the left of its container.

    I tried setting contentScroller x, y, up, left, down, right, the properties height and width to different values, but what I have in the extract seems to be the only way that it appears at all.

    Based on the research, I tried this in the script of the skin:

    override protected function updateDisplayList(unscaledWidth:Number, unscaledHeight:Number):void {
        super.updateDisplayList( unscaledWidth, unscaledHeight );
        if( contentScroller.visible ) {
            //contentScroller.verticalScrollBar.x = 0;
            contentScroller.verticalScrollBar.x = -contentScroller.verticalScrollBar.width;
        }
    }

    Or lines in the if block makes no difference as to where this thing is rendered. Here's a screenshot of my Panel:

    crap.JPG

    And here's what I would do:

    crap2.JPG

    Thanks for the research!

    I found a solution.

    I removed the code in the script block and I went back to a scroller in the mxml.

    I thought that I could set the vertical scroll bar by creating a skin based Scroller. In the generated file, I saw this:

    Scroller unconditionally sets its skin's layout to private layout
    implementation that handles the scroll policies. Scroller skins can
    only provide replacement scrollbars. The skin's layout and
    constraints or dimensions set on skin parts will not be honored. To
    gain more control over the layout of a viewport and its scrollbars,
    instead of using Scroller, add them to a Group and use the ScrollBar component's
    viewport property to link them together.

    So I then changed my skin Panel to look like the following:

    Finally, I added the following to the script block for positioning controls correctly:

    override protected function updateDisplayList(unscaledWidth:Number, unscaledHeight:Number):void {
        verticalScroller.left = topGroup.height;
        contents.left = verticalScroller.x + verticalScroller.width;
        super.updateDisplayList( unscaledWidth, unscaledHeight );
    }

  • Vertical scroll bar in a tree node

    Hi friends,

    I am trying to create a tree in Apex 4.0. I need a vertical scroll bar in my flowchart if no: values is greater than 8. For example, I have a tree with customers and sites. When I press the clients it will list sites for this customer. I need a vertical scroll bar is displayed for the sites if no: sites is greater than 8, so I can limit the size of the tree. Are there ways to achieve Apex 4.0. Any entry for this will be appreciated.

    Thank you
    NAV

    You could combine all these properties in one class (inline of the div & fix Andy's IE styles) and assign it to the div.

      div.tree_scroll_div{
      overflow-y: auto;
      display: block;
      min-height: 10px;
      _height: 10px;
       }

    + Note: _hieght * gets ignored by all browsers except IE, it considers the height itself (CSS Hack). +

  • vertical scroll bar in AdvancedDatagrid

    Hi all

    I had an AdvancedDatagid with 100 rows and grouping.

    After the application starts, the vertical scroll bar is not displayed. but after that, to develop a single entry and close it again, the scollbar is illustrated.

    When I force the vertical scroll bar life the command verticalScrollbarPolicy, the scollbar is shown but turned off. Once again, after expand and close one entrance, the scollbar is enabled.

    I guess, the AdvancedDatagid has no idea how many lines are available after reunification. also navigation keys do not work correctly. Up arrow works very well, but isn't the arrow down. But when the scroll bar is correctly displayed, the navigation keys works perfectly.

    After extended and close looks the adg calls that a method and the lines will be calculated. According to this update, ther scrollbar appear correctly.

    someone can tell me, how can I solve this problem?

    In the applicationComplete handler I call the groupCollection.refresh () method and the AdvancedDatagrid.refresh () method.

    Thanks advanced

    Frank

    I think that you are faced with a https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FLEXDMV-2426 which is fixed now.
