  I use some CSS in an external worksheet to control certain text slogan and I try to make the text bigger, but when I increase the font size of the values above .9em seems to make the text smaller?

  Anything higher than 0.9em for example, 1em, 2em etc.

  Fonts can be specified in words ("BOLD", more "BOLD") or numbers (100 to 900).

• In recent thunderbird, I seem to be unable to zoom or change font size until I opened a message. The menu is simply off! How can I fix it?

  I'm unable to control the font size in the main view that lists all messages. Zoom button does not, in the view menu.
  Once I opened a message, then zoom is active and I can enlarge fonts.

  I noticed that in recent versions of thunderbird. It wasn't a problem before. Browsers such as firefox and chrome let me enlarge the screen with ctrl ++ but not thunderbird.

  CTRL ++ allows enlargement of the content. "You will fine it does not affect the parts of the program which would be consdered ' part of the program. In the case of Thunderbird, it works only on the display of the messages.

• Web pages empty every time, even when I work around cache!

  I checked with managers from sites that the pages are not really empty. But firefox only shows the Virgin every time. (Even when I bypass cache by pressing SHIFT and click on the update.)

  This problem may be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

  • Check the permissions on the subject: permissions page and in "tools > Page Info > Permissions.

  Clear the cache and cookies only from Web sites that are causing problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

• Font size Master page header changes on the slave with the exception of home pages when publishing?

  I added a text box with large text as a header on my master page. Naturally, this header transfers to the pages of the slave and appears in grand in design mode and preview.

  However, when I write the Typekit site, the police of the header appears correctly on the homepage, but becomes very low on the following pages. Yet once, it happens that once I have publish on Typekit, not in the preview of the site in Muse.

  I found this In-Browser editing disabled in file-properties of the Site-Advanced fixed the problem. Header will now appear the same size on all pages.

  Hello, this can happen when firefox is not able to correctly save preferences in the profile folder. Please try this: click the menu button

  

  then click on help

  

  > troubleshooting information > profile folder - 'display the folder '. then a new window will open. in this search on a file named user.js window (it can be used to overwrite your custom settings). where it is present, delete or rename this file and then restart firefox.

  I have a 1317 all-in-one. It prints a test page everytime I turn it on. How can I stop this?

  HP Photosmart C3180, I had several years.  Recently installed new black ink 92.  Print alignment cartridge successfully page.  Whenever I turn on the printer to start printing, this page will be printed once again, my waste.  How can I get it to stop?

  The black inks and color print ok?

  Ink readings are an estimate and is not accurate.  I think that the reason why the printer continues to try to line up is because of the low color ink.  If you do not need color, you can see if the alignment stop if you remove the color ink cartridge.  They stop?  Is it the black printing ok?

  If alignments are continuing, I recommend to replace the color ink cartridge.

• Alignment page prints every time

  I just installed a new to me out of the box PSC1500. On the first of each print job, the first thing out of the printer is a copy of the page of alignment ink cartridge; the rest of the work then proceeds as usual.  It's a waste of time, ink and paper.  How can I fix this?

  The manual explains how to perform the alignment.  After the alignment page is complete you must load paper and press the scan button as described on page 48 manual here.  Once the alignment is completed it will be not necessary again until the cartridges are changed.

  If this does not work:

  1. Enter about: config in the address bar
  2. Click I'll be careful, I promise you if prompted
  3. In the filter field, type Startup
  4. Double click on startup.homepage_override_url
  5. Delete the text string, and then click OK
  6. Close Firefox and reopen the window to check that it worked.

• Windows 7 change randomly font size of my office between Small (100%), medium (125%) and Large (150%).

  I tried to create a customized (like 130%) font size to see if it would stick.  Every time I have restart or shut down my computer, desktop change font size again.  Recently, my computer completely freezes (frozen, all frozen pointer) and the activity led to the CPU on my laptop would show no activity whatsoever.  Then the fan would be instantly and not turn off.  This could be related to a problem with Firefox, which I am trying to determine in a separate proceeding.  But this ice could be related to my font size change randomly, since I have to cold - restart my computer after each freeze-up.

  The change if the font size could occur if the user account you are using is corrupt. You can try to create a new user account and check if that helps.

  To create a user account

  1. To open user accounts, click the Start button, select Control Panel, click user accounts and family safety, and then click user accounts.
  2. Click Manage another account.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  1. Click create a new account.
  2. Type the name that you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click create an account.

  My printer prints my very large documents with fonts, so half of the document does not print.  How can I fix?

  Welcome to the HP community @Johanned,

  I saw your post on the police really print grand of your Deskjet 3050 from your Windows 8.1 system, and I hope to help.

  The issue could be in one program you print from if you only see the question comes in one program. If that's what's happening, check the size of the font and preview before printing to see if it also shows the large font size.

  If the font is large for any program you print from, there could be a driver conflict. Try to run the print and scan doctor and choose difficulty Printing. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results.

  Try to print again, and I would like to know the results. I'll be there to help!
