very slow mini iPad on iOS 9

Since updating my original mini iPad iOS 9.3.2 is very slow. Before the update, I was on iOS 8.4.1. I had lost the iPad and then had it returned to me and thought I would try to reuse this cushion. However, since iOS 9 is so slow, I can't. A few tips to speed it up?

Backup on iTunes

Then restore using iTunes as a NEW

Do not restore the backup

See if the problem resolves

If he does - restore backup - if the problem comes back - then chances are that your content is damaged in some way

  • Why can't update mini IPad 2 iOS 9.3

Ive been trying to update my iPad mini 2 for iOS 9.3, but it keeps saying it cannot be verified as no internet connection. I tried with wifi and mobile data but still will not let me. Can anyone help?

I have the same problem for my iPad 2, which is not a mini.

of course, I have an Internet connection. It shows the full bars and I can go straight to the Safari and search around.

I tried to turn down several times, making sure that there are no applications open etc and he never check. When I click on the link just above the installation where it says to learn about the safety of the update, it takes me straight to the INTERNET to view the page.

If you find a solution, please let me know. I think this is an Apple bug.

i have 1.0 GB of free space and the update is already downloaded, if the space is not the issue.

I would remove the 9.3 iOS download and re-download it, but I don't know how do either.

Try a soft-reset/reboot: press and hold buttons sleep and home for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the "slide to power off" if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear and it should restart.

I have a mini iPad running iOS 8.4 2. I bought an Apple lightning for SD card reader, but apparently it works with ios 9. However, I fear that updating to iOS will cause performance problems. I've not updated until that now because of these concerns, but applications for support that they have attached to any issues with iOS 9, I believe. How was your experience with older iPads running iOS 9.3.2?

I had no problems with my 2 Mini on any iOS versions 9, including 9.3.2

  • recently I upgraded my adobe acrobat in my 3rd generation ipad ios 8.1.2 after update my files manual pdf including more than 500 MB are very slow to respond and stuck all the time... .it has become a big problem for me now... I'm stuck... can not

    Help me

Player crashes with files larger than 700 MB

700 MB files are exceptionally large.  Any PDF reader you choose, it would be slow to display the content of a PDF in particular for previous generations of iPhones/iPads with CPU/GPU less powerful.

Because your files are so large, I am afraid that you will not be able to share files with us (Adobe) via attachments or links to the cloud storage.

Here are a few suggestions (not solutions, however).

    • Update to the latest version of iOS on your iPad.  iOS 8.1.2 is old enough. In general, you will get the performance and bug fixes update to a newer iOS.
    • Try other free PDF viewers for iOS.  For example, try Apple iBook.  You will not be able to add comments, annotations or filling out forms.  But it may be more appropriate for display.
    • Use the desktop version of Acrobat Reader.   All desktop/laptop computers are faster than iOS devices.

We will make an effort to improve performance with large and complex files in Acrobat Reader for iOS. However, it would be difficult to overcome the limitations of hardware and file size. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • I downloaded 8.1 on my iPad a few months ago and it has become very slow especially in the e-mail program and glitch

I have an iPad mini version 9.02. a few months ago, I downloaded the latest operating system from Apple 8.1 and my iPad became very slow and glitchy especially in the e-mail software... What can I do?  Now it asks me to upgrade to iOS 9.1 and I fear that it will be even worse.

Sorry - but what do you mean you have an iPad Mini version 9.02? What are your reference when citing 9.02?

At this point, your best bet is to keep the device up to date. The latest version of iOS is 9.2. It's what you could be upgraded to.

  • Slow down the iPad 2 iOS 9

I have an iPad 2 which is running iOS 9.1. Since I upgraded, it became very slow and sometimes hangs for a few minutes. Does anyone have suggestions on how to improve performance on iPad?

    A disclaimer clause.

I make no warranty, express or implied, that my own procedures return EACH older iPad to a usable state, running.

Try all of the following conditions:

Try to reset all the settings in the settings under general app and in the right column under restore.

Try stories reset and delete/reset the caches in all web browsers you use.

If you use Safari, these features may be in the application settings under Safari.

Other browsers have their settings inside the running application itself.

If your iPad has been activated for iCloud, in the application settings under iCloud, to the right, under iCloud Drive, type in iCloud drive and make sure that Safari is off to save data from Safari to iCloud by car.

Also, under iCloud in the application settings, in iCloud Drive, turn the feature off saving for all other desired apps DO NOT the data automatically on iCloud drive.

OR turn off / disable iCloud and iCloud drive entirely if you don't use all the features in iCloud.

If you are using Safari is always causing issues.

Try changing / using web browser third another, different.

I do not use iOS Safari too much more because I found it cause me headaches on some Web sites, regularly, to visit.

I commonly use another third party browser, perfect browser (there are others that can suit your style better web browsing, so look all first to see what third-party browser may work better for you) and I have never experience many questions that Safari was originally.

In the settings app, under the Safari settings panel, tap the Panel and in the right window, turn off / disable Safari Suggestions.

In the application settings, under the General settings panel, click the Panel, in the right column, type Spotlight, then turn off/disable Siri Suggestions.

In the application settings tab general, right under the Spotlight search, try to disable the search under the applications who really don't need one research, like some games, remote controls, apps that are really useless to be searched, etc., in order to reduce the list to Spotlight search.

In the application settings under the general tab, in the right column, search background App update and enable this setting to "off".

Try to turn the reduced movement.

This is found in the application of settings in the general tab, in the left panel.

In the right panel, look under accessibility, look to reduce the Motion and turn this feature "On".

You should see a significant performance increase on all models of iPad 2, 3 and 4.

Make sure that you don't have a lot of applications running in the background in the iOS App Switcher.

DBL click on the Home button to check for this.

If you have many applications still active, press on and hold a finger on one of the applications, and slide your finger upwards to exit the application.

If you can reach another application with another finger, you can leave at the same time more than one app.

If you have the Mail application iOS set to extract automatically to mail one of the extraction of the default value of time intervals, in the application settings, under mail, Contacts, calendar settings panel, tap this Panel, in the right window, turn off / disable Push Mail and together, go get the mail for each hour or together for a manual removal only for all of your e-mail accounts.

If you are willing to do (I, personally, would not recommend this), some users have reported that turn off find my phone/iPad, in the settings app in iCloud, has improved the performance of iOS, although I have no how this feature could be the cause of such a slowdown in execution, unless it's a bug in the iOS which only affects some iPad users.

Try an another hard reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

    Good luck!

  • My iPad WiFi Air video very slow loading same 3 full bar signal

My iPad WiFi Air video very slow loading same 3 full bar signal... Any suggestion?

Should I send to AppleCare or upgrade to the latest version of iOS?

Yes, update to the latest version, 9.3.1. Also here are a few general suggestions for problems of Wi - Fi. Suggest you start at the top and down, maybe they'll help...

    (1) perform a forced reboot: hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Leave the device to reboot.

    (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

    (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (recommended for 2.4 to 20 MHz bandwidth).

    (4) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

    (5) disable the prioritization of device on the router if this feature is available.

    (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

    (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

    (8) to restore the device (ask for more details if you wish).

    (9) go to the Apple Store for the evaluation of the material.

  • iPad 2 running very slow and freezing

My iPad2 worked very slow and freezing.  It is quite frustrating and I hope someone has a tip or a solution for my problem.  I've updated my ios and right now I'm in ios 9.3

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.
