  I downloaded the add-on: "Youtube Video Downloader" FOUR TIMES, but although it shows on the list of Add-ons, under options, I have no icon/button or whatever in the toolbar to allow me to use it. I tried anyway thinking that it might be on auto, but I was unable to download any video from U Tube.
  What is the problem with this one?
  I noticed he's asking for $ 10, it means that until it is paid, there will be no activation?

  Please check to see if it is compatible with the latest version of Firefox (32.0.3) but also please see the link of support for the addon on the home page of the addon.

• How to stop a video download it restarts every time I open Firefox?

  I got rid of the addon. Restart Firfox a dozen times now. Restarted my computer. But everytime I open Firefox, the download starts. The arrow above shows that no download is ongoing. Only the green bar in the Firefox icon on my taskbar tasks shows that a download that happens with an arrow directly fade after as I start firefox. He is gray now, and nothing is in my Show all downloads. I tried to boot into safe mode with all the Add-ons disabled. Always start the download. I would leave it to finish, but it never does. The icon is completely green, but he says never download is complete. I open the video file successfully, but he always told me when I left firefox is running a download. When I clicked out in all cases, the file has disappeared from my download folder.
  The addon that started this mess is "1-Click YouTube Video Download 2.2.4. Normally I use the Download helper, but it did not work.

  Problem solved! My fourth try and the download is actually complete itself. I don't know how, in the absence of the addon, that it worked. Or why I couldn't stop the download or find it in the queue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  I did the update of the application and since then the flash video downloader stopped working. I am currently using android 4.3, it worked on my other device running 4.3, but stopped working after the upadate so. (it comes from a variety of Web sites, and none of the websites are YouTube).

• Why can I not get a video downloader? They disappear and or not displayed after selecting them in the area add to the page?

  I had a simple easy Downloader on my page of fox, he left a green arrow in the download bar, all I had to do was click on it and choose the type I wanted (mp3 or flv etc) but youtube gave me adifficiles time when I tried to download the most video, I'd get all those as the first , so I tried a downloader different he showed a video reel as it's symbol and it seems to work but then I clicked on accedently on something and he disappeared. Now, when I go to the Add-ons to get one it says I did succsessfully but does not appear when I return to my home page? Can you help with this problem please!

  Open the window customize to set the toolbar to display items:

• Question to download Flash Video Downloader 3.7.0

  I would like to install the latest version of Flash Video Downloader 3.7.0. Tried to download directly from Firefox, downloaded an XPI (208 kb) file. Firefox is showing that the extension is installed, but I can't open this file to complete the installation. What I am doing wrong? What is a XPI file and why didn't the FVD Suite download?   The extensions are installed only in Firefox and should appear classified in tools > Modules > Extensions

  You should get a command prompt to install the extension if you click on the "Add to Firefox" button on the page modules.

  If you saved the extension to a folder on the computer and then drag the extension in a Firefox window or use file > open file (Firefox > new tab > open the file) to install the extension.

  I am a member in downloading videos to support forum http://forum.downloadhelper.net/ for more than a year. I made an announcement today. It has disappeared from the forum after a while. (Or rather, it has worked, but only appear in the forum, as I found out later.) I did another assignment and made a live bookmark for that one. This bookmark link worked. It turns out that the said forum page last published on the Web site has been July 7, this year. This is patently false. Then I made a post answering my second post, to say that the site says no published offers, and a direct link still works. Something may be wrong with the forum software? This announcement was immediately placed under moderation. (The bug I have is vdlh 499 doesn't work with youtube today, and he did it yesterday. Firefox 14.01, Win XP Prof)

  I know it's maybe a bit early to ask here, but their behavior seems to me like an outsider to be a little strange. No answer, no reaction, and then all of a sudden I'm in moderation.

  New version of VDH 4.9.10 has been released, which fixes the recent problems. Update to the new version.

  After a few changes of YouTube on 14 September, Video DownloadHelper was not able to download videos from this site, except the WEBM version using the YouTube HTML5 mode. This problem is corrected in this version of the addon.

  After a few developments of YouTube on August 6, a number of users reported that all downloads did not exist. This was due to a a cookie generated by Youtube. Consistent workaround by disabling cookies before you download was not very convenient. This version of the addon takes care of this issue.

  Earlier this year, other YouTube changes caused the FLV videos downloaded through the method of 'network' to have a fixed size of 1.7 MB and to be unplayable. This is now supported.

  SpeedBit Video has some compatibility issues with Firefox as SpeedBit has not updated their product to be compatible with Firefox for quite awhile - they claim that their product works with versions of Firefox 3 / 2, and yet Firefox is now version 8. Firefox version 3.6 was released on January 21, 2010. That should tell you something, on how much they care about the update of their product.

  You really need to update your browser version and your plug-ins, in order to maintain the safety of your navigation. Once you do this, you can use a plug-in like Video DownloadHelper to work with video downloads. There are other plug-ins as it available at

  You will need to contact bitcomet on this subject, it is for them to make their compatible extension.

  You could install the Add-on Compatibility Reporter extension. This will automatically allow all extensions, which allows you to test to see if those that are incompatible with working again. If they don't work you can turn them off again.

  If you go to tools > Modules > Extensions, you can see the desired extension registered? They may be incompatible, or have been disabled for some reason any.

  as volunteer asked J format that the videos were saved is the most logical question here.

  All films registered as media of Windows, or MPEG, avi files, should be good.
