Video header sensitive full width/full screen?

Hello

I'm hoping to add a header of video of reagent full screen on my site, very similar to this: http://themes.umbrella.al/?theme=aura (select the theme - top right), but without the images/text on top.  So basically an intro video full screen, completely adapted to the size of the browser, but will move with the page when the user scroll down.

We know a widget or something similar, that I can use?  I tried to search on the net but I have to be using the wrong search terms because I didn't have much luck...  I would like to make a link to a video on Vimeo preferably but I know that might not be possible and I'll need to host myself.

Thank you!

Spend hours trying to find the same thing. The answer is quite simple:

(1) create a page with your video fullscreen. Don't need NO masterpage.

(2) go to the page where you want the full screen, video scrolling and the beginning af the page that you put this widget: page header

(3) Insert the name of your page with the full video screen in the widget.

You need an overview of the site in the browser to see the effect (seen in the page does not work, because it needs to load the page containing the video on the home page).

Cheers Chris

  • Screen MBP sleeps during video playback in full screen

    I have a MBP of 2007 running El Capitan (10.11.3) connected to an external monitor using the clamshell. While watching videos fullscreen in Safari (flash or HTML5), the external monitor standby according to the energy saving settings. In Mavericks it would behave normally (i.e. the screen would not go to sleep while watching videos, but would normally sleep when idle).

    Setting the parameters of the saver of energy will never leave the screen saver is not an option, because I don't want to stop the screen manually every time (I use it as a TV - pc).

    I had the same problem when I updated to 10.11.3 (actually, I don't mine clamshell when I connect to an external display, but had the same problem in that the computer went to sleep as if it has not been used despite a video playing in full screen on the outside).

    Here is how I fixed it.   Want to remove "com.apple.PowerManagement.plist" (path: Mac HD > Library > Preferences > SystemConfiguration > com.apple.PowerManagement.plist) then restart.  Worked like a charm.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows 7 changes the screen resolution when video applications go full screen.

    When I have plenty of screen some video players, that the resolution of the screen on just the ordinary 1080 p 1080 p (native) that has a refresh rate of 60 hz. As soon as I exit full screen it activates again. Would be nice but when it switches the screen is no longer fits the screen and the user interface looks very grainy, the video actually looks very good. Windows Media Player 12 for this, while VLC does not, which leads me to believe its something to do with the way that Windows Media Player makes video (which I think it uses Direct x, which uses VLC OpenGL).  I have this problem on my computer and my brothers computer I customized built. The specifications are very similar, other that my computer has an Nvidia GTS 250, and has a Nvidia GTX 275.  Is there anyway to stop it from doing this?

    Just in case people always have a problem with this problem, pls here's a solution that worked for me...

    I spent the last month trying to solve this problem, and "youemailme" (another thread here) had the correct solution for me! And so Simple!

    I noticed on Blogs that this problem has existed for at least Win98 is not your computer or your operating system.

    The question seems to be programs in your Menu has a different screen resolution to set startup, thereby causing the screen resolution change when you start your computer. This isn't a MicroSoft program error, but rather a question of "settings".

    With me, what worked were 2 things:

    (1) perform the 'clean boot process' as advised by many to determine which granted software was causing the problem... and then.

    (2) right click on the name of the program (as discovered in above) 'problem' in the Start Menu > properties > compatibility.  For some reason, there is an option to "run in 640 x 480 screen resolution", which has been verified.  This program was in the startup folder and the cause of the problem.  Then unchecked the resolution box. No problem.

    In my view, there are a large number of people dealing with this exact problem. I hope that this process of step 2 could solve their problems.

    (ps, just thinking about it now, you might not even bother with the 'clean boot process' but simply go through all your programs in your Start Menu and run the 2nd step explained above. Should work?)

  • Pavilion dv6-2155dx portable: video pixels mode full screen

    Play any video on my laptop HP Pavilion dv6-2155dx does not change the resolution in full screen... and the pixels seem to be so visible if the video is interlaced.

    It runs Windows 7. It's a clean install of the previous week.

    Graphics driver is the last update and Device Manager shows not any unknown devices or pilot faces etc.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Found that the 64-bit video rendering system codecs to play videos were different from those of a 32-bit system in some cases. Thus, the problem persisted. It has been solved now by optimal choice of codecs.

  • Recording a video demo of full-screen as a slide of record

    I'm used to create empty projects with different types of slides - simulations, demos, content slides, etc.  If you choose to record a demo video inside these presentations, it seemed forced to switch my application window in the small red box.  If I record a new video demonstration as a project, I have a lot more options like mode full screen.

    Is there a way to record a video fullscreen demo as empty a record slide to insert into my project?  I know that I check just a bunch of individual projects video demo as insert as 'media' in my vacuum was planning, but what disturbs and lots of time.  It also creates confusion because the project itself and the video demonstration both of control bars.

    Try to record a video demo inside Photoshop, for example, is really difficult inside this little tiny window.  Also, I prefer not not pan, which I find shocking and useless for my students.

    Any thoughts?

    Hello

    First, you should note that with any project you create (assessment Simulation, demo, demo, Etc.) once you configure this initial size, that's what you are locked in. So if your computer maybe has a resolution of 1366 x 768 and you create a project at 800 x 600, there is no way to really present a slide to a size larger than 800 x 600, because it is the resolution of your project. Of course, you are able to record a video demo to create a CPVC file, then inside one. File CPTX, you can click Insert > CPVC Slide (at least in version 7, it's how it's done. May be different if you use 8).

    You can, however, add some tools to zoom and pan for the video demo. I know that you are avoiding panoramic, but one can think of pan in the type "stop motion" registration and pan is not that you're able to achieve using the video demo.

    See you soon... Rick

  • Prevent the video full screen of the iPhone

    Hi, I'm unable to prevent iPhone video to view full screen. I use the following code:

    var vid = sym.$("Rectangle");

    VID.html ("< the video id ="videoPlayer"width ="400"height ="225 "src =" test.mp4 "type =" video/mp4 "controls =" orders" webkit-playsinline> < / video > ');

    The webkit-playsinline is ignored. Is there a solution using java script?

    Unfortunately he mixed rules when playing video online on iOS. You can play a video online within a web application or a web page is saved in the home screen using webkit-playsinline, but this does not work when you use Safari. If the intention is to have a Web site with the video you are out of luck, but if you create a web application you have the ability to add webkit-playsinline as an attribute of video online.

  • Full screen video mode, preserving the size of objects

    Hello

    My task is to show a video player using the full screen. I have no problem doing that, but I need to perform in such a way that only video scales to full screen while other objects (the player controls) remain unadjusted. If I just go full screen - mode everything onstage is furred naturally.

    Playing with the functions of full screen I could come up with the only solution that is to calculate a scale factor (based on, say, stage.width and stageWidth) and adjust the dimensions of the player controls and position accordingly.

    Is the best way to preserve the sizes of objects or there is a better technique?

    I was hoping that each display object has it's own scene and I could show only video fullscreen by doing something like:

    _video.stage.fullScreenSourceRect = screenRectangle;
    _video.stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN;

    but he's still developing all objects.

    Thanks much for sharing you experience (or sources).

    Hello

    I must apologize for my stupidity in the post in 2008-06-19 12:08:40 (as well as other incidents of my brain dysfunction). I made statements that are not true. For example, I said: "their assumption was that video is the King, and by default to go fullscreen is to resize the video only." It's BS. They don't make this assumption and, in fact, programmers have complete control over the display.

    kglad, you inspired me to look deeper into the hardware acceleration and now I understand better things (or so I hope).

    I do deviate acceleration hardware and all resizing occurs by program.

    My understanding is that when using the Rectangle across the video - he dimensionnera everything that is within the limits of the rectangle. I couldn't find a way to scale just a video using the rectangle. I was hoping that working a line as follows:

    _video.stage.fullScreenSourceRect = screenRectangle;
    _video.stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN;

    He did but in the same way that (note there no _video in scope)

    stage.fullScreenSourceRect = screenRectangle;
    stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN; -which means that everything is scaled up.

    I don't think I fully understand the concept of stage again because in my mind that each object display had it's own step and this step translates the scene of a higher display object (parent). Actually, when I speak of stage - it takes the reference to the highest stage.

    kglad, if you find the time to clarify this point - it would be a huge contribution to humanity :-)

    Back to the description of how I coded full screen WITHOUT using hardware acceleration (in case someone still hope my intellect :-):)

    Step 1. A mechanism that responds to the wish of the user to see the screen full of thing.

    It could be a button with a listener added. The listener will change stage.displayState

    Step 2. Create a mechanism which reacts to changes in displayState.

    a. get System.Capabilities.screenResolutionX and screenResolutionY - these two parameters will tell you how wide and high video possible.

    b. calculate desired video dimensions based on the height and width of resolution and video metadata. This means that one of the ratios will give you scale factor. For example:

    var scaleFactor:Number = Capabilities.screenResolutionY/metaData.info.height will define how it increased (by definition _video.scaleY and scaleX = scaleFactor) using this scale factor newly calculated (assuming you want all the video screen filling).

    c. balance video. Center it if you wish.

    d. hide the objects you want to be shown in the view full screen

    e. visible positions of objects in a desired way. For example, move the player to the bottom of the screen controls calculate x and y, once again, by using parameters screenResolution.

    When the user leaves the mode full screen - reverse what has been done: resize the video at its original size, the positions of origin x and y, see other items, move the Player control to which they belong.

    Fact.

    A brief look at the approach is to enter full screen mode without resize the SWF to the origin. If no further action taken - your player look as it seems at the origin: all the preserved dimensions and swf is the position where there is default (left, Center, or right). And then resize/reposition specifications.

    It will be useful.

    Thanks kglad!
