Video playback in the media player in windows (Vista) is perfect. But when I create a dvd in Windows DVD Maker and read the dvd, the sound is off by a fraction of a second on the dvd. Is this a setting problem?

After burning a dvd, the audio is a fraction of a second offshore on playback of dvd-video.

    Movie Maker probably only supports unprotected WMA files.

    We give Vista information in these Forums:

    If you have Vista, read the information below:

    Read the section on using disks of ISO for the older image format or different CD players

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/burn-a-CD-or-DVD

    If your computer is equipped with a CD or DVD burner, you can copy files to a recordable disc. This process is called burning a disc. By default, Windows Burns discs in the active file system format, but you can also choose to burn discs in ISO image format.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disc-burning-frequently-asked-questions
    Why are there two different ways to format a disc?
    You can choose between the formats of live file system and mastered during the creation of a new recordable disc because each of these formats is used for different purposes. The default choice is the active file system because it is a more convenient way to create a disc. When you use a Live file system disc, files are copied to the disk immediately. When you use the ISO image format, the files are stored in a "transit zone" until you decide to burn the disc.
    When you use the system format active files with rewritable discs, such as CD - RW and DVD - RW, you can also erase unwanted files from a disc to recover space, which is not possible with mastered discs. On the other hand, mastered discs are more compatible with older computers, previous versions of Windows, and other devices such as CD and DVD players. For more information, see which CD or DVD format should I use?
  • Problem with the display of a video frame in Windows Media Player 11 on Vista
    Hello
    I am having some problems with the Windows Media Player 11 on Vista. On my XP machine, when I discovered a video frame by frame, it works perfectly back and forth. However when I try to play the same video on my Vista machine, the button to the front of the image works perfectly fine but the previous image button takes video from 5 to 10 frames. Since I use my machine Vista more and need this feature often enough, it gets boring very quickly. It is a drive problem (since the same player works great under XP with the same video) and can be solved with a patch or some sort?
    Thank you
    Hello Helloaamir,
    Thank you for posting.  I understand the problem you are having, but I do not understand why in the need for these features.  Depending on what you're trying to do, may be able to use Movie Maker instead of it you also has characteristics of the image by image.  If you could include that you are using this feature, because I can give you a good alternative or possible difficulty of deliverance.
  • Media player in windows 7 is marked for a few videos (audio continues)
    Hello
    I m using windows7 and my Media Player is getting hit while playing a 1080 p video. The image struck while the audio is fine.
    How can I solve this problem?
    What type of hardware you have, esp CPU, GPU and Ram?
    Some low spec material that is generally a netbook or an old PC may struggle to play 1080 p video, esp if it plays standard definition or even 720 p OK videos.
    If you have a suitable hardware, make sure that your graphics card drivers are up to date with the latest version available for your make and model of PC from the manufacturer support site.
    If they are up to date, try to uninstall, restart the PC and reinstall WMP to see if that helps - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/26107/how-to-reinstall-windows-media-player-in-windows-7-to-solve-problems/ (assuming you are using WMP12?).
    I'd be inclined to say that you have a problem with the graphics driver.
