  • Draw attention to the name change.  Through self-service. Help!

I created an alert that will detect when a persons name has changed and the alerts to their supervisor.

This alert is on the per_all_people_f table.

It won't fire, even if the request is correct and returns the right data during execution through SQL +.

It was suggested that when someone changes their name using self-service, data is changed first in another table, and this is where my alert should be based?

Surely a change will happen eventually in the per_all_people_f table that will make my alert to fire?

Can someone shed light on this please?

When you perform a follow-up date update, no line is getting updated.

You'd better understand if you have enabled the audit and check the audit tables.

What is happening is a followed by removal of two inserts.

Deletes the existing line, inserts two new lines. the one with the new data. the other with the old data and the end date column has changed.

or is the substitution of VO is the only way to go?

    Help, please...

    Thank you

    Gasmi

    Garnier,

There is a quick and easy way to do it. Not sure how you feel well. You can change the vo xml file and edit the sql code. This of course not patch resistant. The alternative is a substitution of the VO.  A quick dirty way is to get a copy of $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/per/selfservice/personalinformation/server/BasicDetailsCurrentVO.xml and modify the sql statement:

    Change in per.national_identifier

    TO

    "XXX - XXX - |  SUBSTR(per.national_identifier,8,4) national_identifier

This apparent changes the view object. Of course the right way is seen object substitution.

If this resolves the problem please mark the correct answer.

  • Update of personal information through employee self-service

    Hi all

I hope you guys can help me with this problem that that a user is confronted.

The user has updated their privacy - they entered an entry into force with regard to while the changes would be effective.

The user has spotted while they misspelled his last name and you want to update their name again. However, when they're going to update their personal information, there is no option which is given to the user to allow them to make changes to the entry into force they have registered. Instead, the system gives them the ability to view the changes to come.
I understand that the user cannot use the "correct personal info" option because it won't that make change their current information.

Is it possible, that the user can update their personal information through employee self-service? Or did once they have updated their information they must wait for this entry into force, until they can make other changes?

I hope that all makes sense.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Kind regards

    SOF

    I guess that's a standard feature of oracle self-service.
Future changes should be removed first, and that cannot be done through employee self service, or through Manager self-service.

However customization can be made to the page such as adding a new button that will take care of your condition.

    Thank you.

  • To access workbooks Viewer via self-service registers do not in EUL V5

    Hello

Please can someone let me know if there is a solution to this problem.

We have deployed some HR discoverer reports to our self-service users. The functions called Discoverer reports, with the following parameters, an example of one:

    Type of properties

    SSWA plsql function

    Call from HTML

    OracleOASIS.RunDiscoverer

    Form parameters

    workbook SETTINGS & SHORT_TERM_ABSENCE = IDFeuille = ~ 23. *

Above called a workbook that has two worksheets through Viewer and specifically one of these leaves in a first time.

    The report runs big.

We would like to see how many people have used the reports and made a report to the BA "The discoverer EUL V5" (EUL5 file queries users). For some reason any that doesn't show everyone who is running of reports.

We also have a custom BA, which collected data from sessions ICX. Here, I wrote a report to pick up the same background. It identifies some people more have used the reports by looking at the name of the function clicked on within self-service. However, this is not accurate as ICX sessions (or at least the table custom we have) only records the last function clicked a user session.

However, some people are picked up in the EUL5, and it seems to be people who have loaded a self-service report, but then clicked on the navigation bar "workbooks" within the viewer and loaded another report on the main workbook page Viewer.

Is there anyway we can get the identification of the user (perhaps with the feature of setting workbook self-service) who do report that it should, but also record that the user has run it in EUL5?

Appreciate any information you might have.

    Thank you
    Lloyd

    Hello

Indicated in the table in EUL5_QPP_STATS query statistics are very unreliable, because the statistics are only written to the table, if the user has the privilege to collect statistics and logs out at the end of the session. If the session ended abnormally then stats are not written.

You can write your own OracleOASIS.RunDiscoverer function that could connect all attempts to run a workbook of ICX. Not sure if the workbook was actually executed because the ICX function simply redirect to Discoverer, he doesn't know if the discoverer session is properly create or if the workbook is running successfully.

  • How to undo a name change from self-service?

I made a change to a persons name by using the self-service, personal information form.

I then try to make a subsequent change and says:

ORA-20001, the personal record was changed on October 7, 2010. Please enter an effective date is later than 7 October 2010.

Is there any way I can cancel the first change so that I can try again today?

    Thank you

To 'Cancel' the initial date of follow-up "Update", PUI, navigate to the due date which is just before the start of the new name (in your case, go to October 6, 2010).

Click on delete. Date-track options you have, click next to delete the following change.

    Then save.

Now, the updated follow-up date should be updated and you can change the name again via Self-Service from an earlier date.

SSHRC does not allow tracked changes date other than the normal mode of update.

  • Extending from VO on the employee self-service page

    All,

I want to thank PhoneNumbersVO VO on the employee self-service > my personal information page

Here's what I've done so now

    1. copy everything under JAVA_TOP > oracle/apps/by/self-service/personal information / * on my desktop under files Myclasses and MyProject.

    2. scope of the VO and added my new columns to the query. This view is not attached to any EO.

    3. copy the class under myclasses to JAVA_TOP files > xx > folder/apps/by/self-service/personal information/server oracle

4 imported .jpx file using jpximport

    5 .bounced apache

    6. in the Applications, customized phone to add 2 columns newly created in the custom t section.

View instance serves as my extended VO

    7. now, when I go back to the page I get error

Not found message. Application: DNF, Message name: FND_VIEWOBJECT_NOT_FOUND.

    Chips: VONAME is XXPhoneNumbersVOEx;. APPLICATION_MODULE = oracle.apps.per.selfservice.personalinformation.server.OverviewAM;

To me, it seems that I need to join extended VO to seeded AM (OverviewAM)

The question is when I seeded DoubleClick on this AM I get error

WARNING: There are errors java errors for this file object. The wuizard is open in read-only mode

    File < Path/OverviewAMImpl.java

    What could be wrong here?

If I give the name of view seeded in 6 above, I get no error, but it does not display the values for newly added coulmns.

Did you create the substitution on jDeveloper? Otherwise, the jpx download the news saying Oracle to use the VO scope:

3.5 project components/properties/Business Substitutions. Select a seeded on left, extended one to the right and click Add, it should appear on the substitutions.

Now, you can import the jpx.

To confirm, verify the jpx, it should have a section of substitutes at the end:

    for example

To confirm that the substitution, he was transferred to the DB, check customizations for your seeded VO, for example

    Set serveroutput on

    jdr_utils.listCustomizations exec (' / oracle/apps/ap/goose/Server/ProjectsLovVO ");

(notice the site/customizations/0) result in the path from the seeded VO:

    / Oracle/Apps/AP/GOOSE/Server/customizations/site/0/ProjectsLovVO

  • Integration of self-service EBS

Has anyone ever head to integrate a WebCenter content with self-service? For example, coating a person personal documents folder (or simply a list of these documents) on the landing page of self-service.

I'm looking for documentation, a ticket of blog, or tutorial, to develop this type of solution.

    Thank you!

    Hi Mitch,

Yes, MY COE can be integrated with the self-service of EBS module.

  • How to create Self Service Portal in Vcenter Orchestrator? times

    Dear team,

I want to create the Self Service Portal to reset user password in Active Directory in Vcenter Orchestartor. Could someone guide me for this

Note: I installed Vmware Vcenter Orchestrator 5.5.

    Kind regards

    Odile M

    TechM

I hope it would be only certain types of admins/helpdesk do PW reset because you must connect to the WebView in order to run the workflow... in any case, you can follow this tutorial for a Webview based in vCO:

    http://www.vcoteam.info/articles/learn-VCO/107-create-a-simple-VCO-self-service-VM-provisioning-Portal-part-3.html

    Regarding the other prerequisites:

vCO must have the ad plugin installed and configured to use SSL when communicating your AD environment. It is a requirement for users created with passwords and resetting passwords.

When you get to the step of the tutorial for mapping a workflow, you'll want to use the workflow to "Change password". This is a workflow of library Active Directory that are available after the installation of the plugin AD and the vCenter Orchestrator Server service restarts.

  • UDF creation and use for self-service requests

    Hi all

I am currently using OIM 11 g (11.1.1.3.0) and I had a feature working before, but now I can't remember what I did to make it work...

I created two fields that are defined by the user and authorization policies associated with them so that I can view (at least since the creation of the direct user via Xelsysadm). I can't, however, view these attributes in a self-service basis 'Create User' or 'Edit user' for the life of me.

My ultimate goal is to be able to see these attributes on forms (direct creation of the user, creating self-service user) and ultimate make both required (via changing the CreateUserDataset.xml in metadata).

When I run WeblogicExportMetadata.bat, I get off the elements of the IOM, but attributes that are not visible on the self-service application dataset are not the CreateUserDataset.xml (which is a given). How to enable these attributes to be on this form?

Also, should what xml metadata I change so that my custom attribute is required on the direct creation page in the administration console?

    Thanks in advance!

Can you post your dataset xmls here so that we can check.

How to hide the button "Update" Self Service > personal information > address. So that employees can view but cannot be updated. I'm stuck at the customizable properties (Randered, fast, etc.) for the object.

You can do this by using personlization. On Table level button Submit would be. You can set rendering-> property button set to false.
