Visualization of the muse site is different on each browser

Hello

I have a huge problem with the visualization of a site created in Muse.

When I saw on my computer (Firefox), it went well. Then I tried Safari and things were not in the right place.

The menu is not visible because it is covered by the image main/slideshow (homepage).

How can I fix it?

Here is the link: www.emanumandefrog.com

Thanks in advance!

Sofia

You did not group your content and it does not have any widgets, where elements do not respond to another. Just absolutely you placed on the page, which of course will result in a look different each time that changes size of the browser window or similar. Therefore, structure your work.

Is it possible to export the Muse site in Dreamweaver or in another format like wordpress, now all hyperlinks and blogs, where 10 years later there is no Muse, but another web Adobe made software?

    Hi Claire,

First of all, you can be assured that now Adobe has no intention to quit muse and it's here to stay

Now then, you can export your site created in Muse in his code HTML, CSS and JS form by using the file option-> export to HTML

Please refer to this screenshot:- http://prntscr.com/4ueqvq

Now this version exported your muse site can be opened in any code editing software like Dreamweaver etc and you can make changes to your site.

    Hope this helps

  • Completely updated my BC hosted the MUSE site.

    Hello.

I had my MUSE site site works now for several years (www.thinksmartresumes.com.au). I published this through BC as one of my five free hosting sites.

I have now created a new MUSE site (http://pauldean.businesscatalyst.com). I want to completely replace the old site with the new site.

Now, this might be a stupid question, but simply select (site direct current) reality in the ' publish on ' drop down on the dialog box "publish"? Complete BC will delete the old site and replace it with the new.

I fear that all this seems too easy? Are there other steps I have to take?

    Thanks in advance. Paul.

    Hi Paul,.

The easiest solution for this is to create a 'new Site' of the menu drop down. Once the site is published, you can redeem as your site for free and add your custom domain.

    Another way is,

Select the site, as the screenshot above, in the "Upload" field, select "All Files" and click on publish. Muse will now replace the old content on the site with new content.

Let me know if you have any question.

  • What happens to the Muse site when you put end subscription Creative cloud?

What happens if I leave creative cloud / Muse? The site die? The customer will always be editing capabilities?

    Hello Andrea,

If you have hosted the site British Colombia however 5 free sites you get with membership of cloud, the site will end once the cloud subscription has expired. If you have not hosted the site on BC or not against the free sites you get with membership of clouds, then nothing will happen on the site. It will go on its billing cycle.

  • How to add a user when the Muse site is transferred without Business Catalyst?

    Hello

Update June 2014 to Muse allows In-Browser editing for Muse sites hosted with third-party providers (not Adobe).

  • the muse site map do not update automatically

    Hello

Really appreciate your help in advance.

Have a query re sitemaps in Muse.

When I write my site, the site map updates for the user to navigate the site in their browser. However, the xml file does not work - I know because when I search www. [insert my domain].com/sitemap.xml the old pages are indexed, even after several days - and this affects google from indexing the site.]

You are able to help please?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

There is no problem with the DNS of your domain name. Site is made a new delegation in BC and the field points correctly to THE DC where the site is hosted.

In regard to don't muse not synchronized with BC and the page not being deleted (when it is removed from the Muse project), I don't see a reference to harvard - copyright.html in the file muse_manifest.xml on your site for a reason, but the file exists physically. So what I'm suggesting here is to:

    1. manually remove all pages not required BC admin.

    2. Once you do this, publish the site of Muse (all files).

In regard to point 1 above, online content editing is disabled by default for sites published through Muse to BC and so the Pages tab appears for you under the Site Manager.

However, you can always turn on the change content online by logging into the site administrator-> to go to the section my details (hovering over your name at the top right) and select the option as shown in the screenshot below.

Please see the post below for a reason which is why the option is incompatible with the Muse (but does affect all of the features as such if you enable it).

Let me know how it goes.

  • The muse site scroll

    Hi-

I have built several sites of Muse in the past, and it's the first time I encountered this problem and it is only happening with this site: Take advantage of Palm Springs

I built recently in two different breakpoints for each page of the site. Since doing so, the site does not scroll down.

Don't know what I did wrong here...

I don't see this problem on my Chrome browser. Have you managed to fix it?

  • Old Muse site (with different layers for phone and Tablet) converted to a sensitive site of Muse

    Hello

I am very happy to see that the new sensitive version came.

How can I switch my muse old sites on sensitive new version?

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

The new version of Muse, released last night adds support for sensitive sites (a provision that changes based on the width of the browser). Muse continues to support adaptive websites (different layouts for phone, Tablet, desktop computer).

Convert a large site of adaptive to sensitive will be a significant amount of work.

Before you try to convert an existing site to adaptive answering, I would say only to discover the new sensitive device by looking at a few tutorials and creation of a new sensitive site from scratch in order to have a good idea what is possible. Then you can decide if you want to convert an existing site.

I thought that the purpose of development of dreamweaver to help people who do not know the code.

Dreamweaver tries to be helpful to those who do not know the code, but it is also a tool of professional quality.  He can't really be both, in order to help its naïve users is limited.

The you see is what you can, that's what I thought facilitated dreamweaver for beginners.

Not only are there no such thing as WYSIWYG when you work for the web, but also DW does not claim it to be.  DW Design view is a very rough approximation of what would be the layout in an idealized browser.  The closest you can come while remaining in DW is to use Live view mode, which is a real browser, but there is only one out of many browsers and browser versions available at the grand and still can give only a partial idea of the reality of the code that you just created.

But tell me if I do not understand the code, dreamweaver will cause me trouble.

    Yes, that's correct.

Do you think I am way over my head or is it possible with time & learning on my own that I can finish this site?

Along with learning, you could certainly build this site.  But learning and how long can you afford?  If you hope to have the site live in the weeks or even months, then I think that you are above your head, especially considering that you want it to be the public face for your business!

If you want old college try, then I would you direct to http://www.w3schools.com for some excellent HTML and CSS tutorials.  Who will help you get started. This forum is also a very good resource!
