  Yes, the webappsstore.sqlite - wal (wal: Write-Ahead Logging) should not be there, after the closure of Firefox.
  This seems large enough to me for a temporary file.

  I have a problem growing due to many catalogs produced by the different versions of LR since Lightroom 4. My problem is that I have no idea how to do to decide what catalog (lrdat), which presents a preview (lrdata), what backups I can get rid of without losing the original material or entered further data. So what I'm trying to be is a master catalog what's happening in keeps it current 3 - material years on 1 drive HARD internal. On an external HARD drive, I have the same 3 years with a LR catalog as one more backup equipment for 12 years, I try to get into this catalogue. Due to the huge number of additional folders (by lr), now I'm afraid to be on the wrong track. So my simple question for the Pros of the lr is how to manage a clear structured storage of peaks with SBDAs in years. The average number of files I want to save p.a. is about 4,000 or a ca.150 GB volume.

  The solution I recommend is to put everything in a single catalog. There are very few disadvantages to do (the only one I can think of is that it will take more time to make backups), and the advantage over what you are doing now should be obvious.

  To combine your catalogs in a single master catalogue, open the catalog that you select either the master catalog and the use of the command file-> import from another catalog, and points to another catalog. Repeat until you have everything in a single catalog. If you are sure that everything is done correctly, then you can delete the previous catalogues.

  I don't have no idea what "p.a." means, or I do not understand the logic behind these arbitrary limits, which seem to be totally useless for me. Some users of Lightroom report catalogs in which it has imported over 1/2 million images, with no problems using these catalogs at all.
