  I go in disk defrag at the moment and can only do one disc at a time. I have run more than one player internal (and some external drives). So I need a bit of an automated process to turn it on and leave it alone. I use this option in Norton 360, it works fine as far as I can tell. But I guess that a windows application is more accurate or complete.

  b. it can defragment only one volume at a time.
  c. it cannot defragment one volume while it is an another scan.

• Error installation software device driver for removable devices in Windows Vista x 64

  I have Windows Vista x 64 installed on my PC and nVidia Forceware motherboard and graphic cards.

  I think that perhaps not all device drivers have been installed when I installed Windows Vista, this time. If that's the problem, I don't know how that could happen, nor how to fix it, but I really prefer to find a way to solve this problem without reinstalling Windows Vista again. I don't mind not manually install the drivers as long as someone can show me what files to copy and where to find them on the Windows Vista disk that I bought at Microsoft. I KNOW that Windows HAS come with these drivers.

  Cleaning Windows Update option is available only when you log on with administrator permissions.

  Select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, right-click on disk cleanup, click on Run as Administrator. Scroll the menu drop down and you should see the option of cleaning of Windows Update. Check the box before this option.

  Select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, cleaning disk to emptying your trash, delete temporary Internet files and other selected options. I recommend also you click Other Options , the System Restore tab and delete all but the last system restore point. Run Disk Defragmenter.

  I'm not sure that you will find a list of supported outside enterprise systems hardware.  The first place to check would be the Hardware Compatibility Guide.

  It lists no specific motherboards.  On the top of my head, I would say that it is probably not supported, but I have expereince with outside lines on HP Server hardware.  If you can't find the correct information, just try to install it, the worst case that it does not work.

  If you try to install this feature for testing, you can load windows or linux and install ESX/ESXi in VMware Server 2.

  I am managing a large library of virtual machines that are used on a wide range of VMware products (5.5 - 6.5, server 1-2 workstation, ESX 3 to 3.5, fusion 2).  I've built tools to automate the installation of various operating systems and I'm looking for a kind of best practices as to which version of VMware Tools, should I have install automation.  Is there a significant difference between the VMware tools that come with the different products (for example, workstation 6.5 and ESX)?  Should I just use the latest (non-beta) version of VMware Tools without worrying about which is the host, or should I use a minimum version of VMware Tools (such as ESX 3.0.2 which in my opinion, the smaller build number of each of them) and to remind users to upgrade if necessary?

  Modern tools from VMware (ESX 3.5, 6.5 WS, etc) must be interchangeable. Some of the 3.0.x beginning were not. However, those 3.0.2 should be as well. You can get a version that works on all platforms to which you want to deploy. Or you can use open Vmware tools to achieve the same thing.

  If the version of VMware Tools you have chosen will not work on all your destinations and it of modern tools, then you should report as those indicated on the last Podcast of VMTN communities, they must work for VMware.
