  You cannot connect Qosmio for docking station because Qosmio includes not all ports docking at the bottom of the unit. Have you seen one?

• Recovered the hard drive with Acer?

  So I recently had a hard drive replaced in my parents computer, because the old one failed. Geek Squad has been able to get the data out of the old and said that they install a new using a recovery on the old disk partition. (It was a HP 110-194 Office that we bought in December 2013 btw). When I went to pick it up, it was filled with acer software and a background of acer instead of HP. Why would this happen? Geek Squad claims they used what was on the drive hard and nothing else, and that HP has Acer that is why he was there. I can't check myself, however. Is this true? Why the Acer software on an HP computer?

  I don't think that HP is owner of Acer.  Looks like you found a evasive Geek Squad.  If they used a partition on a hard disk HP HP programs are only needed on this subject.

  They should be equal, as long as the phone is not used more when in the dock, which would make loading more slowly.

  you would normally replace your boot order to the shape, the insertion of dvd disc the first acer recovery disk and restart from the recovery of the boot process

I use a remote connection which has a login screen that requires a combination of keys Ctrl-Alt-Insert to initiate. Searched high & low online and off. Can't find a way to generate the Insert key race in this environment on this tablet. Someone at - it the answer?

• W700 detail docking cradle - when will be available?

  I received my W700 a couple of weeks with new style keyboard cover instead of the docking station.

  I really want to have the best of both worlds and get a dock.  The Acer store does not list it, but I found a few online suppliers that list the he (part number NP. DCK11.00H) but none has any in stock and no one knows when they might receive the delivery.

  It is also the best part of £80, which seems an excessive amount of a USB hub.

  Acer can that they will publish the doc under a separate post and when we might expect it?

  I see that the dock is now generally available and on sale in the store of Acer.

  Received my dock I had on order of lambda-tek a few months back and I'm generally happy with it.

  I have it set as my main PC on my desk with an external monitor, full keyboard size, external hard drive and mouse all plugged into the dock.  Now if I want to just use the Tablet I simply drag out, not to fight with the keyboard for 10 minutes cover!

  The only thing you need to connect separately each time is the HDMI cable that is not included in port replication, I simply attached it with a stamp sticker to hold it in position and that seems to work very well.

  A value shop, because I paid a little more than £70 for it and the Acer store is currently £109.

  I want a system of wireless headphones wireless with a loading for each helmet Bay. Transmitter should accept level line of double RCA Records. I would have preferred a 900 mhz transmitter, but IR is acceptable. The system should come with two headsets, or there should be a system with transmitter/headphones with the possibility to add a loading dock and an additional heaset.

  My old system was a Sony which is at his last breath, and I found a replacement for another manufacturer with two headsets, but it lacks the loading docks - connect the heaset in the transmitter and the two heasets cannot be pursued at the time. In addition, the manufacturer says not charging headphones for more than 24 hours or you may damage the battery.

  Thanks richk, 2 x 4 GB, it is what it is then. It was a lot more back when I bought the computer now it isn't so bad. I've read about it and Cosair happens a lot as the best for this.

I've updated the firmware of the docking station Onelink and the pilot video X 1 carbon, what can I do else? Any thoughts?

  On OneLink port hdmi port is hdmi 1.3 only, so it doesn't support resolution qhd. You should get the dock pro OneLink with its integrated displayport.

• New W700 with dirt behind the glass of the screen - terrible support from Lenovo

  I just got my new Thinkpad W700 two days ago, but it came with two dirt stains located behind the glass of the screen. They cover about 20 pixels down on the left:

  First of all, I contacted Lenovo technical support. They have opened a case but then gave me Lenovo sales because the defect already existed at the arrival and I could be eligible to get an Exchange unit.

  Unfortunately the sales of Lenovo really sucks. I spoke the first day by the representative asked me to send him an email with a picture of the screen, which I did. He promised to call what has never happened. I called again the next day and talked to another representative. He apologized for his colleague and promised to remind him to remember the same day. Once more it never happened. So I called for the third time another day later. The seller apologized once more and asked me to send the photo by email - once more. He then told me that I will not get an Exchange unit but have to call Lenovo support first, before any return policy may apply. Thus the circle closed after only three days

  Back to Lenovo support, they opened a new case and will now send me a shipping box in my notebook. So I'll be at least 15 working days without my new laptop and if they cannot clear the screen, I have to place a new order of complete replacement to Lenovo sales and wait another 10-15 days before I finally got my notebook back.

  This is completely unacceptable to me because I need the laptop for work. My plan of servo is now upgrade guarantee ' on site 9 x 5 next business day ', wait 2-3 weeks that it take until the upgrade is activated and then will make account again the fault to technical support. Can someone tell me if this would work or Lenovo will persist on me sending the DVICE back because I opened a folder already?

  The problem has been resolved. Unlike the unpleasant experience that I realized on sales of Lenovo doing the tech IBM/Lenovo service has been superb all the way. They have exchanged or repaired my screen and for some reason any addition to the system board. Now, I have a flawless screen and can start enjoying the machine. My laptop was gone for 5 days only, including a weekend and a delay of stock for parts.
