want to decode PGP encrypted with oracle soa 11.1.1.6.0 b2b edi files

I'm working on a scenario where the business parter (TP) published the edi on our FTP server. These edi files are encrypted using the PGP software (we must provide our public key for this).
I've never worked with encryption\ before decryption, but I understand the theory of Cryptography.

Question 1: We can install PGP on 11 g soa server and configure the b2b to decode this file using our private key.

Question 2: If the 11g SOA server doesn't support PGP, and then will install PGP at the level of the FTP server and use java to decode the file (using the private key) to a new location and B2B can choose the file decoding from here.

Here are two strategies I have planed, please guide me which is feasible\best and if you know the steps to implement it please share with me.

Thanks in advance.

Two options are possible, but the #1 option (decrypt PGP to B2B/SOA), you must write a caption of java. B2B/SOA 11g does not support PGP out-of-box, but it can be achieved using the legend of java. I would have preferred the option n ° 2, personally as in this case, PGP decryption will be out of SOA/B2B and therefore it will be hot pluggable (can be removed in the future, if necessary, without changing the configuration of SOA/B2B).

Kind regards

  • In Oracle B2B PGP encryption?

    Hi all

I'm working on the PGP encryption in oracle B2B, where I need to encrypt a document and place it in the location of the customer using an outbound channel.

I use java legend to use PGP encryption, where I wrote the java program that performs the encryption. I take B2B input and write to a file in my local machine and java program figure this file and creates an encrypted file, I am able to read this file and return to the B2B with the help of a message of legend, I use a file for outgoing channel that puts a new file to the specified location , but the problem is while writing, this new B2B file uses its own character set its not able to write message encrypted exactly in the desired location, where by I am unable to decrypt the file. Anyone know how I can fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

  • Oracle BPM 10gR 3-Oracle SOA Suite 11g

I'm not sure that some body else already asked.

I produced Oracle BPM in production which is fine and happy with the way it works. Its developed from Version: 10.3.1.0.0 build: 100364 #. We use custom JSP, JavaComponent, etc. GRANDPA in this.

We are thinking of migrating to SOA to Oracle 11g Suite.

Is there any tool for that? If this isn't the case, nothing provided for?

Do we need to re - write our application BPM from 10 g to 11 g? What all parties might need to re - write?

To answer your question in the right way, I fear that there is no direct migration path of OBPM 10 g to Oracle SOA Suite 11 g. You will need to write to us - many things like

    1. the present of the BPM API are not public. If u will be something like GRANDPA as OBPM
    2. There is no support for PBL/Java in Oracle 11 g BPM. However, if you want to use the custom Java component you can use BPEL or spring with BPM. After all, each component is packed inside a single composite.
    3. it is recommended to have all of the dashboards and UI user developed with ADF if you are with Oracle SOA Suite 11 g but even if you have a JSP that shouldn't be a problem.

This topic has been discussed a few days in this forum. You can find the thread here

  • How to install Oracle SOA as a result of the study?

    Hello world!
I hope that you are all very well.

I am interested in learning about Oracle SOA suite, just to get the basics. I was reading about the installation process, which includes:
    1. install the powerful Oracle DB.
    2. run Oracle RCU.
    3. install Oracle WebLogic Server.
    4. install and configure the Oracle SOA suite.
5 install JDeveloper and extension of SOA composite editor.

I'm in doubt, because I read that Oracle JDeveloper includes a WebLogic Server for development, obviously an IDE... I mean JDeveloper Setup contains everything necessary to begin development activities... so I think that the above steps are to set up a server and then grant access to the machinery of development... I'm bad? what I must it install on my local pc in order to obtain a basis for Oracle SOA suite practice work environment? I'm really looking forward to write a "Hello world!" with Oracle SOA.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi all,

We want to implement the system with Oracle database 11g or 10g 64 bit (CARS) on the OS of Microsoft Server 2008/2003. We do not have enough licenses for all the hearts, and we want to find a way to implement the RAC database with existing licenses.

Is this a good solution to use virtualization, as Oracle VM?
How much is safe to use virtualization?
Can we do Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) environments Oracle VM with Windows Server 2008 64-bit (or 2003 Server) operating system and use hard partition?
Is it better to invest in licenses or try with Oracle VM?

Oracle VM can be configured so that it is recognized as a difficult score.
Hard partitions allow customers of one license these CPU used by the partition instead of license all the processors on the physical server.

  • Develop the encryption Transparent data with Oracle 10 g XE

Currently I develop an application that will require encrypted in some tables columns, I will recommended to the customer buying an Oracle database for the application and that you have installed Oracle 10 g XE to begin development, I found that I can't create tables with columns TDE tho I can't create a portfolio. I searched the forums and found that a portfolio manager is not available with Oracle XE.

My plan was to develop the application and then provide scripts for creating the DBA of the customer so that they can create data tables in their Oracle database... Can I develop the application without transparent data encryption and then say s/n, which must be implemented in the version of the application? The application needs to know the password of portfolio/TDE to encrypt/decrypt the columns!

Any ideas how I could go on the development of the customer Oracle XE database without access to CDW?

The T in TDE is transparent, so that your application should need not even be aware that all columns or storage are encrypted. Transparent data encryption are generally implemented in systems that were never designed to encrypt data, so in theory it should be 'perfectly safe' to develop not encrypted and have the client encrypt the columns during installation.

Of course, when marketing people start talking about things that are 'perfectly safe', it is always a sign of coming danger. Although I have never heard of a case where encrypt a column caused a problem for an application, I would be very doubtful to the development in an environment different from that of production. This includes the exact version of the database (I guess that the customer has installed the last patchsets, so they run 10.2.0.4, for example) as well as editing. If you decide to rely on the fact that everything should go smoothly when you promote to a different version of a different edition of the database with a different schema definition, even if it would normally, you virtually guarantee that you will end up with a problem that will be difficult to solve.

In your case, I would use XE to the development. It would be much safer to develop against the personal edition. It's not free, but it's the database licensed Enterprise edition to run on developer machines. It is not free, but it is much less than an enterprise edition license.

  • Want to learn Oracle SOA

    Hi guys,.

I am interested in learning SOA. I don't know where I should start? Can you please provide the materials and tutorials? I have a question how long it will take to learn Oracle SOA?

    Thank you
    Ravi

    Hello

Oracle documentation is the best resource to learn how SOA.
If you are a beginner and become aware of the concepts of SOA, you can take a look at different blogs like www.soatutor.com.

And regd. time to learn how SOA, it depends completely on how much time you spend. If you have your basic right, it is not very difficult to learn. He could probably take about 2 months to have a good understanding about SOA Suite(most of the components) spend about 2 hours a day :)

    Oracle BI Publisher 11.1.1.6

    Oracle Database 11 g Release 11.2.0.4.0 - 64 bit Production

With the help of the link below, I want to integrate Oracle BI Publisher with Oracle form

    http://www.Pitss.EU/fileadmin/Pitss/images/de/White_Papers/White_paper_BIPublisher_WebServices.PDF

But I need to know one thing, as mention in link, weblogic user/pwd in the java code for authentication with BI Publisher, above

My Question here, what is the best way to manage authentication with BI Publisher while integrating with Oracle Form?

I think, in a document, just to mention for example,

It will not be advisable if keeping the user weblogic/pwd in Java code, at the end of this java code becomes a jar file and deployed to the server and then downloaded to the client computer. ensure that completely and the values are hardcoded, if the password change question once again, this means having user/pwd in jar will never be a good solution.

For a quick overview, I'd do it keep advice the user/pwd in db in encrypted form and access to oracle form with decrypted and pass the value in the api ReportServiceClient.CallRunReport)

If you feel, every time you need to access user/pwd of db and decypte it, that I advise you here, get user/pwd when set in the context of db and out of context with decrypted.

Another may be the best idea.
