way to archive the audit

Where can I change the path to the Archives of verification for the job of managing the Audit logs.

In addition, how to I Delet old job logs.

Thank you

-Lmal

Change it network file path of archive in the Portal Administration tool > Audit Manager

Also see the following KB under Metalink:
Audit Log Management Agent fails
Article no.: 857242.1

This article explains how to manage the database space used for audit messages. To deal with the reduction of the number of newspapers of the job, the process is different, but the first step for this would be to make sure that you run the weekly job of cleaning on a regular basis. I'll work on an article for these steps, but you can open a pension case in the meantime.

  • Historical data in the audit tables

    We are facing the following requirement of our current customer.

    They run a number of workflow manually for a few years, and they have retained the historical data in Excel spreadsheets. Now, they want to start using the BPM Suite.

    They would like to query power and display the track Audit Suite BPM of all workflows, i.e. not only those who will be executed with BPM Suite in the future, but also those who have been stored in spreadsheets Excel over the years.

    I have a few questions about this:

    What is a reasonable demand?
    My guess is that we need to load historical data in the tables of audit BPM (BPM_AUDIT_QUERY, etc.), is - that correct?
    Any suggestions on how to get there?

    I was reading the doc, Googling the web and searching this forum and I have not found yet any relevant material on this subject.

    It would be very difficult to directly load their data in the audit tables. Also check tables are stored in the soa-infra schema which is usually configured to be served after a certain period of time so that it grows indefinitely, because it contains all the runtime information as well. You will need to determine how long they need these historical data and configure properly the purge and the size of the DB correctly for this amount of data.

    If data in excel are truly one, the new BPM process the best way to get the audit data in the process can be use the APIs to create instances of the process and then automate execution of each task as defined in the spreadsheets. This way these past instances have been run through the system.

    In most cases this is not done however. Most of the customers usually somewhere archived these worksheets in case they need to recover, but will not try to make that old data visible from the BPM workspace and to view an audit trail.

    Hello Michael,

    If you have the enterprise-level account, you can disable the Audit report by going to the tab account-> account settings-> global settings and then uncheck the "Attach to copy signed audit report.

  • What is the best way to archive images high resolution for cloud storage?

    I have a library of 100 gigabytes. Is it possible to retain the vignettes catalog and image on my computer, but archive images high resolution for cloud storage somewhere in order to save space on my hard drive? If so, is it possible that Lightroom can automatically recover if they are needed, IE. If I want to print or export the image?

    Lightroom does not really work with images cloud storage.

    If you want to archive the images in the cloud, you will need to do this manually and get the images manually. (Which means there are plenty of chances to make a mistake, and so I do not recommend this unless you are sure to 100%, you know what you're doing in both the fine mist of things and with Lightroom)

    Or you could buy an external HD, which are relatively expensive and move the photos here.

  • What is the best way to check the data

    What is the best way to check the actual changes in the data, i.e., to be able to see each insert, update, delete on a given line, when it happened, who did it, and what looked like to the front row and after the change?

    Currently, we have implemented our own audit infrastructure where we generate standard triggers and an audit table to store the OLD (values at the beginning of the Timekeeping point row before) and NEW (values at the beginning of the point of timing after line) values for each change.

    I put this strategy due to the performance impact there (important say least) and because it's something that a developer (confession, I'm the developer) came with, rather than something is a database administrator came with. I looked in the audit of the Oracle, but it doesn't seem like we would be able to go back and see what a line looked like at some point in time. I also watched flashbacks, but this seems like it would take a monumental amount of storage just to be able to go back a week, much less the years currently keep us these data.

    You can either:
    1. set up your own audit custom (as you do now)
    2 flashback Data Archive (11 g). Application for licence.
    3 version check your tables with Workspace Manager.

    Unfortunately, the audit of data always takes a lot of space. You should also consider the performance, as custom triggers and Workspace Manager will perform much slower than the FDA if there is heavy DML on the table.

  • How to archive the folder to a different computer

    I have thunderbird on both computers. And I need to have a record of archives containing old e-mail on a different computer.
    They have unfortunately deleted here.
    Both computers are synchronized, but the folder of archive is not sync.

    Thank you
    Gary

    Do you want to say that the record of archive has been deleted one or both computers? If the PC is synchronized, make sure you have sharing capabilities for tuberculosis. You say "They were unfortunately deleted here." If they no longer exist then you of course cannot transfer sync or any other form besides. If you have a copy on one, you can transfer them another way. Open the CT that contains the archived file and minimize, so you can see your desktop also. Create a "new folder" on your desktop, in TB click ctrl a (to select it), then ctrl c (to copy to Clipboard/mouse), finally opened "new folder" and click ctrl v to paste the items in the folder. Then you can zip or an e-mail to the other PC or copy to a USB key, discharge to the other PC, on your desktop, open TB here, minimize, so you can see your desktop, create a new folder 'Archives' and repeat the steps in reverse to transfer them from the Office in TB. I hope this helps.

  • Mediathek photo: A way to keep the Photos on Photos.app when you want to remove them on the iPhone?

    I understand the concept of the Mediathek Photo.

    The goal is to keep the Photos on different places for example iPhone, iCloud and synchronized Macbook.

    Automatically.

    Because the volume of data on my iPhone is not very large, sometimes I have to delete the photos.

    Is it possible to prevent these pictures from beeing deleted on the Macbook?

    Or do I have to completely give up the automatic transfer of photos only?

    In my mind, I think of a kind of function of archive for Photos.app.

    A flag that prevents pictures archived the synchronization beeing part.

    Can you give me an opinion please?

    Thank you.

    Photo library of iCloud will synchronize the full library of Photos.   If you remove a photo from the library on a device, it will be removed from all libraries in snced on other devices.

    One way to synchronize on a selective basis would be to have more than one library of Photos on the MacBook. A library of synchronization iCloud Wavec with only the photos you want on your iPhone.  And a library with other photos that you don't want in iCloud.  See this help page on the use of several libraries: https://help.apple.com/photos/mac/1.0/?lang=en#/pht6d60b524

    Another approach would be to use "Optimize storage" on the iPhone.  Then the photos will be optimized smaller photos on the iPhone store and more pictures will be fit.

  • have 8 GB of ram, but seems like all cached then run IE9 makes so slowly. Is there a way to clear the cache

    have hp computer with 8 GB of RAM running on vista 64-bit and see lately all put physical memory cached in the Manager of tasks with almost no free left.

    is there a way to clear the cache?

    Thanks in advance

    The value specified in the 'Cache' in the Task Manager includes more than the real system file cache. In particular, it includes the pending list. There are programs and files that have been previously referenced and the Windows file previously read. The waiting list pages can be reused immediately if an application requires more memory. There is an article with the definitions of the terms used and an introduction to the management of memory here:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ntdebugging/archive/2007/10/10/the-memory-shell-game.aspx

    To see your use of memory more in detail, download and run Process Explorer from here:

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/Sysinternals/bb896653

    Go to view > system information. (or Ctrl + i). Select the memory tab and view the information in the left column under Commit Charge and physical memory.

    To better answer your question, please provide the following details.

    • Describe in more detail what you mean by Internet Explorer is slow.
    • Being of other applications of runs slowly or only Internet Explorer?
    • How many tabs you have open and how many other applications is running when Internet Explorer is running slowly?
    • You are running Internet Explorer 32-bit or 64-bit? See this article to know that if you do not know: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ieinternals/archive/2009/05/29/q-a-64-bit-internet-explorer.aspx

  • Is there a good way to archive historical data?

    Our planning cubes become too big with 5 years of forecasting and budgeting data.

    Is there a good way to archive historical data?

    How you guys do it?

    I know a simple way is easy make a copy planning essbase cubes.  However, is there text, attachments and support details, these will be lost unless there is a way to archive a RDBMS repository data for planning.  Even in this case - all links and hooks of the Essbase cubes in these RDBMS repository will be broken.

    The old fashion method is to print all reports in PDF and archiving.

    Given that the plan changes every month, reprocess you history until you check in?

    Thanks for your advice.

    This can be done in 2 ways...

    1. just make a copy of the old 'DATA' in text file or another essbase cube history. Clear only the historical data for the current application. This will keep other information as text in the intact cell. In case the user wants to refer to the old texts/support cell details they can do by going directly into the application and for part of data, they can look in old PDF report.

    2. a copy of the planning application to create a copy of the current request. Keep all old data, text etc in old app of cells. All previous reports also point this app. Then erase current app and can be simply provide read access to older data App users can be trained to use older applications for all historical data and current app for existing budgets. Also this app can be used during the period of archiving all data.

  • Archiving of audit data

    Hi all

    I have to do the archiving of Audit data. I scoured the document oracle provided with the number of queries.

    Every thing is fine, but I doubt that the new table created UPA after alter table command has data that is eff_to_date is set to null, but the customer has 90% of the UPA, data in table eff_to_date are zero.

    Now is it possible to remove these data to oracle-based. ?

    Thank you

    I solved this problem by making both tablespace and put old data in partition and rest eff_to_date UPA_LATEST1 = null in the UPA_LATEST partition.

    After that, I took the extract of the partition and deleted the partition UPA_LATEST1.

    After that, I run GenerateSnapshot.bat and run "Message from check the question" Planner. Now everything works fine.

  • How to move from Data Guard time really apply (restore) to archive the journal

    Hello

    Standby database configured with broker and application really remake in time; However, I want to change it to archive the journal apply mode without losing the broker configuration. Is this possible? If it is not possible to use the broker to make archive log apply, I can remove the broker and use Data Guard to set up the day before to use the archive log apply?

    Concerning

    Hello;

    Broker automatically allows real-time applies to databases on hold if the standby database has standby redo logs configured.

    Stop repeat applies

    DGMGRL> EDIT DATABASE 'PRIMARY' SET STATE='APPLY-OFF';

    Repeat restart applies broker

    DGMGRL> EDIT DATABASE 'PRIMARY' SET STATE='APPLY-ON';

    In order to get rid of standby redo logs would be a way. I would like to leave myself alone. Real time assistance to prevent the loss of data.

  • Overhead of the audit

    We use audit_trail = DB, ELONGATED or are currently audit connections only (successful and unsuccessful). Is there a a way to evaluate the overhead generated by doing this (compared to the default audit_trail = NONE)?

    Our databases are 10.2.0.5 and 11.2.0.3.

    Thank you
    Mike

    See below the link that I liked a lot for performance issues related to auditing settings.
    Its give you the table n the end that tells you the air performance for a different setting of the audit.

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/database/Audit-Vault/learnmore/TWP-security-auditperformance-166655.PDF

    Looking at it you will notice you 14,09 flow additional time and 15.79% of additional CPU use with DB, EXTENDED setting

    I hope this will help

  • Update the Audit tabular report fields

    Hi all

    I have a tabular report. And I'm updating several lines on submit.

    I have the problem with the Audit fields. When I make changes and click 'submit' (MRU), all columns are updated but my verification of fields (Standard report columns) are not updated.

    Please help me solve this problem.

    I use version 3.1 and 9i db.

    Thanks in advance,
    Daniel

    Daniel,

    The best approach would be to create a database however check shutter button in your columns of check and update with sysdate and app_user. For example see below

    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER  SMAPLE_TBL_TRG
    BEFORE
    UPDATE ON SAMPLE_TBL FOR EACH ROW
    BEGIN
    IF UPDATING THEN
         :NEW.UPDATE_DT  := SYSDATE;
         :NEW.UPDATE_SID := CASE WHEN V('APP_USER') IS NOT NULL THEN
                              V('APP_USER')
                        ELSE
                             NVL(:NEW.UPDATE_SID,USER)
                      END;
    END IF;
    END;

    update_dt and update_sid are checking of columns from the sample_tbl table. In this way the front update trigger fires whenever you update any record in the sample_tbl table.

    Thank you
