• How to give access to the WBS as a project?

  Hi all

  I had very different requirements.

  I had a project with 5 different WBS in a single project.

  We had 5 different vendors who are responsible for these WBS 5.

  I wanted to give access to only a WBS code to its corresponding provider.

  I don't want to create different projects.

  How to achieve this requirement

  It is Possible.

  1 create the connection of the user 5 for different providers.

  2 create the security-> Select project profile profile-> select only wbs and activity privileges of the boxes.

  3. each WBS, you can assign different Manager.

  4. the user Page--> profile--> you must select (no global privileges)

  I develop application in .net using the service web p6ws. And I want to get the list of all the WBS to the selected project.

  As a result, I have 7 files, but if I will execute select suite in DB: SELECT TOP 30 * [P6]. [dbo]. [PROJWBS] where proj_id = '3575', I have 8 drives.

  What could be wrong?

  Probably get you the list of projects.  As the WBS code table the table contains records that are not of 'projects '.  For example, all the lines of project appear in the project table.

  The flow is so use project server to get a list of projects - you might what to return only 'Active', unless you want your utility to view all projects.  You link your windows component (say a drop-down list) with the short or long name with the id of the project. I noticed that you were using DevExpress, so you could link the short and long names.

  The select event from the drop-down list, you get the WBSObjectID through project server (you could shoot that with your first call to populate the drop-down list) and this will be the root of your tree.

  Then, you remove all the object of WBS code of the GetWBSs from the selected user.

  This returns the elements of WBS code for the project.

  Then you fill your tree using your WBSObjectID as the seed very probably a recursive routine as your collection of code WBS element.

• Primavera question of impression (display all the WBS on 1 page)

  I'm having a problem with my use of the printing time. Currently there are 20 + WBS and activities, but when I try to print with Gantt chart, it will break the page with each WBS.

  Anyway is to put several WBS in 1 page rather than broken down by WBS?

• Activities disappear from WBS on P6.7

  I'm starting a new project on P6.7, I set up the WBS and added several activities under each WBS code. After having defined the relationship between each activity, I noticed that when I go to the WBS code table, and then returns the array of Genevieve, several of my activities had disappeared. I was able to bring activities missing return by choosing one of the remaining activities and clicking on "go to" his successor. As I soon as I do this, it jumps to one of the "disappeared" activities and bring him back. Whenever I leave the graph of Geneviève and return most of the activities disappear and I have to go through the process described above to bring them back. Does anyone know hot to prevent this?

  Check if there are filters used in the Gantt Chart view. Filters, when used restrict the activities and displays only a subset of it based on the condition of the filters. You will find the filters icon in the toolbar on the activity page.

  Clear all filters on the activity page and try again.

• Award of the WBS Codes

  I am to convert several codes of activity at a level of the WBS code. The dictionary is finished, but now I want to assign WBS codes for activities. There are several versions you can change the number, now the program pulls up all of the WBS dictionary and to "choose" the list WBS code to assign. Does anyone know a faster way? Is there an SDK available program that will allow me to change the WBS codes? Can I export Excel importation?

• Summary of WBS does not watch the good length Orignial

  Hi friends,
  
  Currently I use WBS summary or type of Effort at the level of activity on the top of my every WBS and am setting all my resources to this activity to save time rather than assigning resources to each activity.
  
  But in my new project, I have things that has a dispersed as an activity starts on 3 day rd, another begins the 25th day. So, my project is not planned to go smooth or linear. So, if I count the total duration for that particular WBS is 25 days, but in summary WBS show me 250 days and it also spread my resources for 250 days while I use resources only for 25 days. However, the use of resources and costs shows me the same amount. But I am concerned about the resource assignments of its use which is not correct.
  
  So, I would appreciate a any solution to this problem and this will make my life easier...

  I agree the methods you mentioned are good general advice when it comes to his schedule. but they are considerably more time than good
  'who does what' allocation of resources to the tasks. even more #2 and #3, have more manual work to accommodate changes in the calendar of the project or the scope, or when it comes to the contradictory requirements.

  loading resources appropriate to your schedule is preferable, even using the classic default settings such as:

  -a linear distribution of effort (units / costs). No curve or future bucket including IMO, depending on the level of detail, planning may prove to be excessive;

  -activity based on the dates of the resource. the extent possible, it is much easier to 'divide' activities or better still create as much as you should in the first place, so that the resources allocation of start/finish dates coincide with the dates of departure and arrival of activities for all the resources assigned to the activity, rather than the gal, curved resources having nonlinear or future buckets;

  -no artificial constraints on the activities, but good relations required type and offset;

  -No. set artificial nonworking in calendars of activity and/or resources (other than legal / organization / project standards dictate or are then fixed by technical reasons, flow of work, environment or availability that may apply).
  especially as the calendars are likely to have different requirements, when the existing calendars are reused in the project and particularly in other projects (global calendars).

• Adding computers to wbs on existing network 2011

  We have an existing Windows (old version) server. I installed sbs 2011. I assigned the name allianceserver. It has an internal address in the 192.168.1.3

  the instructions show navigate to http://connect.
  It does not work. on another post, it shows that it takes to make http://server-name/connect, and another post has /connectcomputer
  but obviously, we must resolve the server name to the ip address. the current server is the DNS for the network. How to make an entry for 192.168.1.3 so that he knows where to go,

• ASA VPN with ISE and different backends WBS for authentication

  I have an AAA-problem I hope to have a few problems help.

  The problem ultimately is: how the ASA via ISE send Radius Access requests to different given OTP backends provided a connection to a certain group of Tunnel.

  BACKGROUND:

  I'll try to give you a brief picture of the scenario, this is what I currently have.

  A VPN system (ASA 8.4 (4)) where I let my users to choose among 3 different methods of authentication being

  (1) certificate (on chip card)

  (2) token - token of the OTP (One Time Password provided via the smartphone application: using pledge of Nordic OTP-Edge transport server)

  (3) SMS - OTP token (Nordic OTP - Edge transport server SMS OTP)

  The choice corresponds to different groups of profiles/Tunnel connection.

  Today, all authentication requests go directly to the OTP server and authorization goes directly to the AD via LDAP.

  THE PROBLEM:

  The problem occurs when I try to put in the ISE in the mixture.

  What I obviously (?) would like to do is have all the network authentication/authorization to go through my ISE platform to take advantage of a centralized administration, monitoring etc.

  Again I would need to use data bases different backend such as AD and Nordic OTP - Edge server, but then mandated by ISE.

  For me to be able to know what back-end AAA to the proxy system, to somehow be able to distinguish the incoming Radius Access-requests.

  WHAT WE CALL:

  At the time of the ASA 8.4.3 Radius access request contains 2 new attributes, the name of Group of Tunnel and the Type of customer, when a VPN user connects.

  QUESTION:

  The seams, that I can achieve what I want by looking at the access request attribute Radius "Tunnel Group Name" and forward my request to different backends OTP for the authentication part therefore in theory. But, how do I actually go ahead and set that up in ISE?

  I don't see this attribute when I look at the details of Radius Authentication for an authentication AAA of the ASA at the ISE.

  I think you can hit the following problem:

  CSCtz49846: ISE does not match the condition with VPN 146 Tunnel-Group-Name attribute

  This issue is not specific to this attribute, as shown in the solution shown in the accompanying note

  Workaround

  Ensure that the attribute name does not include a '.' character. This also applies to some of the existing attributes in the dictionary of Cisco-VPN300. Attribute names should be changed so that they do not include a "." character.

  There is a definition of data called separator cost Code. You can change the default value to whatever you want the separator to be.

• Attach the two tables

  I have two tables I want to fix the end to end.  If I use the version table it creates an annexed table which is not what I want.  essntially im doing the opposite of WBS.  are there features that fit this description?

  I'm working on a state machine. I saw a few videos of the same thing and I need help.

  I have attached the code below.

  My problem is that I can not jump since the first case at the last.

  After the execution of the first case I want LabVIEW to check fot the Boolean control attached to the function select. I used an operator oux during the operation. If the condition of "TERMINATE" is satisfied that I want him to be the last case of local variable is used to turn off the START light.

  at the moment I can't go to the latter case. I want the code to keep control of the State, and whenever the user presses the button END the LED should turn off little matter the time of execution.

  PL suggest ways to accomplish a task... am still a beginner

  You are welcome. I think that the problem still resides on the Structure of the event to the State "WBS". I can suggest the following (say that everything always ends by WBS what I understand of your current code):

  Remove select it and create a new case event for Boolean switch «end». Location of the enum to cancel in this case, as shown below:
  
  The above change means that if the value of "end" Boolean switch is changed (assuming that this will change to true), the case of the event will be held event 'end', which will then the enum value 'End' to the transition of change. Let's say that if the Boolean key 'end' has not changed (which means that has not been pressed), it should run the rest as shown below:
  

  

  

  I'll leave the enum value 'WBS' in the time-out period, assuming you want the State to always run the "WBS" idle state, unless you press the key 'end' to trigger the transition "Terminate".

• Limitation of 200GB SDHC - this is a software or hardware limitation?

  I picked up a good deal of a recently SDHC card that works well for me - this is a card of 128GB.

  From the same provider, I can also get a card of 512 GB for a similar price.

  Issues related to the:

  (1) the limit of 200 GB on SDHC cards is a physical limitation or a software limitation? Are there opportunities for a future update to bring us beyond 200 GB on the Z5 range?

  (2) if the Z5 can't handle the 512 GB, that should be the case now, it would be possible to format such a card to 200 GB?

  Hi @chrisdbarnett,

  Welcome to the community.

  As I understand it, the limitation is a combination of the two. On the software side of things the WBS format has limits, and on the hardware side, the devices have limited processing power and RAM.

  If you insert a 512 GB SD card in the Z5, theoretically (I have not personally tested) it should always be able to access the card, however, you will not be able to store more than 200 GB.

  Although it is possible to increase the theoretical limit with a firmware update, it is highly unlikely that it will do more that probably cause some performance issues with the phone.

• How 2 Configure ACS 4.2 to delegate authentication to the radius server

  Cisco VPN client (or any connect, Cisco SSL VPN client)---> Cisco ASA 5520---> Cisco ACS 4.2---> CAT Authentication Server

  The CAT authentication server is a Radius server. It can receive Radius authentication requests and respond. It is used for strong authentication TFA WBS similar to RSA OTP tokens.

  The question is: how we set up the 4.2 ACS to delegate authentication request to another Radius server.

  Add the RSA server as an external database, configure the drop user profile or a group to authenticate on the new external database rather than ACS DB Local (or Windows DB).
