Web page is not displayed in Internet Explorer, but appears in all other browsers?

I created a Web page, www.nqms.co.uk, it does not show on Internet Explorer.  I tried to troubleshoot via the net and used a program to check CSS etc but it does not always appear.  Any help would be welcome.

  • My site is not displayed correctly on firefox, but works well on other browsers

    My site: www.karposveg.com is not displayed correctly on firefox. I have created some social media icons, but all of a sudden they started to display as hyperlinks or words out and get out. It's frustrating because it works perfectly well on other browsers, but I'm used to sort of mozilla. What exactly is the problem?

    The images are present on your own server:

  • I noticed that some jpeg (RGB) images are not display in Internet Explorer 11, but they present very well in other browsers. In addition, the images used to display properly in Internet Explorer. No idea what is happening?

    I noticed that some jpeg images are not display in Internet Explorer 11, but they display well in other browsers. I checked they are RGB images, because apparently some people accidentally use the CMYK format. IE is configured to display the images - I checked that also. The images used to display properly in Internet Explorer, and the images have not been changed on the server. The content was created using Dreamweaver CS6 and Photoshop CS6.

    I tried to view the page on other computers running IE, and they also have this problem.

    Any idea of what could be causing this to happen?

    Thanks for looking in this people!

    I discovered that prevented a few images to display in IE 11, while other images show. The culprit was Adblock Plus for Internet Explorer. Once, I disabled the software Adblock Plus missing images showed once again. Interestingly, I discovered that I could cause the same effect in other browsers using Adblock software. There is either a bug in the software of Adblock, or fluid network of Adobe system, which caused some legitimate images should be blocked. Whatever it is, they do not play well together right now. All images are stored on the same domain, and none of them related off site, so it's pretty weird that they have been blocked...

    Anyway, the mystery is solved! I know people like to see a conclusion to these things as much as possible, so I'll mark this as resolved issue.

  • am a div in a site does not appear in firefox but present on all other browsers (chrome, safari, opera and Explorer), can anyone help?

    I'm developing a site and I used div tags by making the arrangements.
    all other tags div on the page shows but on an individual does not show.
    I gave all the divs a border with a red color, all other browsers (explorer, opera, chrome and safari) shows the divs with the colors, but firefox does not yet show the color red

    can you please explain how works this adblock, which is technically

    I'm not really sure, but after reading the development councils and the Firefox support for many years, I've seen this place ourselves, from time to time: "Announces" the letter string in a URL id or class name or CBC may assume of Add-ons for advertising correctly or incorrectly.

    I'm not a developer, but I can recommend joining the mozillaZine Web Development board as a useful resource.

  • Layout does not not in IE but fine in all other browsers?

    Hello

    It I'm probably missing something very simple, but can anyone shed some light on as to why a coloumn keeps jumping in IE but works & looks like it should be in all other browsers.

    The link to the page in question is lower, I tried fixing the width and even rebuild the page but all without success.

    Thank you very much

    Alex

    First thing - all Web pages must have a doctype.  Yours doesn't.  Add-on which is compatible with the code you have already used on the page (it looks like HTML 4.01 Transitional).  This will prevent browsers render the page in quirks (a bad thing) mode.

    Second - do not use commas or spaces in the names of file/path:

    background-image: url (images/Touring%20Sport%20-%20Sports%20Tours,%20Schools%20Tours%20and%20Corporate%20To urs.jpg);

    Third - when you specify a font, do it as a family, not a single font.  In your case, a computer with no default Helvetica is Times New Roman, which is probably not what you want:

    . {Contact_Header}

    do-family: Helvetica;

    Fourth - justified text is not very good on the web and it is more difficult to read the text not justified:

    . {Main_Text}

    do-family: Helvetica;

    color: #666;

    text-align: justify;

    Finally, in addition to these things, wobbly code is the cause of your problems.  Here is the report of validation for this page - there are a lot of things out there that need to be addressed-

    http://validator.w3.org/check?URI=http%3A%2f%2Fwww.gecodesigns.com%2Ftest%2Ftouringsport%2 Ffootball-tours.html&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0&user-agent= W3C_Validator%2F1.2

    Also, read this about the impact of the use of collar - and rowspans the way which you have in your layout tables-

  • The myfitnesspal website is most compatible with you? It will not connect, but works with all other browsers. I did help out. Did not work.

    Yesterday, I had problems with the Myfitnesspal.comwebsite. I have a tab set to open automatically when I start the browser every day. I could not connect any information in the site, so I tried a log off and log in. It doesn't let me log on to the site. I contacted, myfitnesspal and we worked through many steps in troubleshooting. I also tried all the steps of troubleshooting your site. I even made a full stop and start my computer. Nothing has solved this problem. I had the same problem with a couple of store that I like to go. The shop site work finally after more than six months of frustration. Myfitnesspal works on all other browsers. So with everything which has been tried and done, the problem seems to be your side somewhere. I'm running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit.

    I really hope that this could be solved because the site appears better on your browser. If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email.

    Thank you for what you can do about it, and for your time.

    Hello.

    I used to have this problem with Firefox only for some time. I was frustrated beyond. MyFitnessPal is 100% compatible with Firefox, however, some extension (type of) can cause significant headaches. I hope that this fix also helps.

    Do you by chance the https everywhere extension installed? It's a great add-on and I strongly recommend using it, however, unless you "disable" its use with MyFitnessPal, you will not be able to connect to your account, add food, weight update, see graphics, etc..

    So don't panic. Your question is likely to be what I had as well. I just went in the https everywhere extension and where it says "MyFitnessPal" with a checkmark (saying it is ACTIVE for the site), I simply clicked to disable the add-on for a site.

    Simple and it works instantly. I hope it does for you too! If you do not have this add-on so it is probably related to some thing similar so good luck to you!

  • I made a website... do not display in Internet Explorer

    I was hoping that someone can help me because I'm still learning how to use dreamweaver. Basically, I made a website and tested on different browsers, it works fine on Firefox and Safari, but when I open it on Internet Explorer some of the images are not displayed.

    Is there a way I can fix this problem? I used css so I was wondering if it could be something in the code?

    No need. We have access to all the files through the link you provided.

    Missing images in IE are all attributes of CMYK image. Convert to RGB in Photoshop (or whatever image editor you use).

    You will also need to optimize. The page weighs about 3 MB. Should be from 100 to 200 KB or more.

    for example images of icons should be around 10 KB. The icons have not been resized in Photoshop for x 40px 40px. They have simply been reduced to DW, for example, iconowl.jpg is 243px x 243 px scaled down to 40 x 40. Resize the actual images in your image editor, then insert them into DW without resizing using the Properties Inspector. The page will then load faster. Always place pictures in DW to finished size. Do not rely on DW (or browsers) to resize them for you. Do not change the dimensions of the image in the property inspector.

    Here is a screenshot in the toolbar Firefox Web Developer showing the sizes of the files on the page. See what iconowl.jpg and iconalice.jpg size are compared with the iconbaked.jpg and iconwhale.jpg.

  • Satellite U400 - can connect but the web pages are not displayed

    I have Toshiba Satellite U400 with Vista. I can't access the internet via the wireless network in my home.

    My computer connects with the network and the signal is excellent but Internet explorer is never able to display the web page. I followed the instructions to diagnose connection problems. I reset the network connection Windows network adapter, as suggested. He said while there still seems to be a problem with your connection, he tried a repair but the problem persists. He cannot communicate with the first DNS Server (212.77.192.59).

    My colleagues can access the internet with their computer, and I had no problem recently with connecting to other wireless networks in cafes and hotels.
    Can anyone help?

    Have you tried another browser like Firefox or have you only tried only Internet Explorer?

    You have DHCP or a static IP address? If you have DHCP make you you get the DNS server address automatically.
    If you have a static IP address, you must change the DNS address.

    In addition, you should try to update the driver for your laptop WiFi. See the Toshiba WLAN portal for an update:

  • 29.0.1 FF with Adblock Plus 2.6: Web pages do not display properly

    29.0.1 Firefox does not correctly load the pages. It seems that photos, boxes, etc. are not displayed, but their content online (which we would see after clicking and maybe taken to another page) is displayed. The only active add-on is Adblock Plus 2.6. Clear cookies and web cache did not help. (Don't know how to send a picture with this question to explain.)

    This seems to have been caused by the Adblock Plus EasyList Italy + EasyList filter list. I've updated the list and the problem disappeared.

    Hello

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Communities.

    1. have there been recent changes to the computer before the show?

    I suggest you to re - activate an add-on in Internet Explorer 7 and check if that helps.

    There are some corruptions with Google Toolbar on the computer, I suggest you uninstall from programs and features and re - install the Google Toolbar on your computer and check.

  • My Web page is not displayed correctly. Its my first time using DW and I do not know what Ive done wrong.

    In fact, its my first website that I created and used Dreamweaver for. I got for about 4 days now, and I am trying to download my Web page to my host.

    If you click on my site: http://www.logobotix.com you will see that everything which displays text - and very small businesses. The site isn't like that at all. I have a logo at the top, there are a lot of colors and its neater.

    When I downloaded on my public_html folder, I the file index.html directly in the public folder, then a sub folder called "images".

    I have no idea how to make it work! Help, please.

    Small text, is because you have told the browser to use 5pt font size in the body,td,th css declaration which is in the head section your pages code.(that's really small even for print)

    pt size is for print you need to use px, em or %. I would go with px because its easier to understand. Hike your font-size up to at least 11px.

    Also it appears you have not uploaded your css 'style.css' file to the server (see link below) as it can't be found. You need to upload that in its folder with the name of 'css'

    http://www.logobotix.com/css/style.css

    Try those amends and see what happens

  • Whenever a new tab is opened, letters of th in other tabs and URL get blurred. Also the web pages do not display correctly

    Whenever I open a new tab in firefox, other open tabs, fades and nothing is readable. The same thing happens with web pages too. It happened when I updated my firefox version 17.0, hoped that it be rectified with version 17.0.1 but nothing never happened.

    Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    You can also try the pref gfx.content.azure.enabled set to false or if this did not help disable Direct2D by setting the pref gfx.direct2d.disabled true on the subject: config page and leave hardware acceleration enabled otherwise.
