I don't think it's a valid ColdFusion Web service call, as there is no way to specify the method you want to use. Is there a particular reason that you don't like the syntax of ?

  • Widget to the Web service, parsing XML

    I worked on the communication with my web services and back to my widget.

    By using the code below, I was able to perform a GET and repay the XML, but I can't find data where I expect it to be node-wise when parsing XML. I return an object with 3 variables attached to it. I expect to be child nodes 1, 2, and 3. They proved to be 1, 3 and 5 nodes.

  • Problems with the Web Service using XML in Flex

    Hello

    I use a ColdFusion CFC, which is configured to generate an XML string. It runs on ColdFusion MX 6.1 and is configured as a remote web service. I tested the call and it returns the string XML fine when it is called from another method of Flex unfounded. My problem is this simple Flex application to call the same function via a service web, I wrote below. I cannot get to the exit results, keeps showing as NULL. I can't use the HTTP of Flex appeal for remote access because I'm not under MX7. Does anyone know what is wrong with my code? BTW, I would do the work of cross - domain.xml file to call the cfc, let me know if you want to test and I can add your domain name. Thank you!

    Thank you very much! I do not have the notion that the HTTPService is indded just an HTTP call. So yes that it a much simpler way to call just ColdFusion to return the XML string to the application. No reason to use Flash Remoting or CFCS etc... and certainly not a web server. This made the turn that I called a HTTPService now what charges by coldfusion page that returns XML and bam, works well with e4x result etc... Thanks tracy!

  • Oracle PL/SQL Web service - dynamic parameters... possible?

    Oracle 11.2.0.3 - newbie on web services!

    Currently we have a pl/sql web service takes 2 static parameters and return a response of varchar2.

    Asked me today if it is possible for a web service in a dynamic set of parameters and return a set of results. It's as if I have to pass the web service a table with two columns and return an array from a column.

    For example:
                        Input                          Output
              1 2                             3
              3 4                             7
              5 6                            11
    of course in XML output. Is it possible?

    p.s. I posted this in OC4J also - no response so the re-post!

    Parameters related to the procedures. Web services require XML messages.

    Where are the settings? You cannot pass a dynamic number of parameters in a procedure, but you can pass a structured as a parameter type that can contain multiple values, either a table/collection type or document XML itself.

    All package values in the XML file and pass it to the web service.

    If this isn't answering your question, please post more information, with some sample data and code. Read the FAQ: {message identifier: = 9360002}

    andychow wrote:

    I've been using Oracle APEX since its initial release (1.6 HTMLDB?).

    Has been called Marvel project. :-)

    However, web services is really a new object me - until now, I need to learn more about this topic.

    A web service is not that much different. He gets a HTTP request and responds to it. The difference from a technical point of view is the payload. A SOAP payload is received and a load XML is the answer.

    I think that, especially with Java developers, which is described by using several acronyms and definitions more and more moving parts. But it's especially stuffed animals. This is the client-server tcp using the HTTP application protocol to send and receive payloads.

    This means that all of the basic concepts and standards and security issues with HTTP client-server, remain valid.

    What I'm not clear, is that, with respect to web services Oracle XML DB, do I really need to set a port in the server that is running the database for the XDB HTTP listener

    For the web service procedure or method to receive the call and answering the call, a layer of HTTP communication is necessary. This can be Apache, IIS, Tomcat or servlet HTTP in XDB.

    I feel very uncomfortable allow access to resources of database directly through a browser without worrying it's http or https.

    I don't see that as the real problem. If the customer uses OIC via tcp or HTTP over tcp to communicate with the database, basic security issues and principles remain the same.

    What offer the XDB is the elimination of a layer external s/w (like Apache) to deal with the aspect of communication tcp and HTTP interface. This can be useful sometimes (deletes an external point of failure and external complexity). Maybe it's not ideal at other times. As usual, it depends on the security requirements and the physical communications infrastructure.

    We can expose web services Oracle XML DB with Oracle HTTP instead of use the XDB HTTP listener in an Oracle database?

    Yes. The caller specifies what exactly? A URL that refers to a procedure from PL/SQL web active. So if that is served by Apache mod_plsql or via a servlette XDB is neither here or there - both are interface HTTP communication layers. Their main goal is to provide the interface between the client and the web service.

    I find the documentation on web services to confusion at times because it is too abstract and does not address the fundamental workings of its operation. And Oracle API web service in the data base is (AFAIK), on ito Java classes complex configuration and use of the PL/SQL wrappers and cryptic in error responses.

    So when it comes to web services, I generally prefer to roll my own using PL/SQL only.

  • Output table in XML format using web services

    I use Labview 8.6 web services to try and a list of power provides a database as XML output. When I table of wire into the Terminal and set the URL for the web services mappings will not build because he says it is an unsupported data type. Any help would be appreciated.

    A web service XML LabVIEW 8.6 supports several types of data. A table is not one of these.

    The best way to work around this limitation is to use a string instead of the indicator table indicator. The antiderivative of flatten it to XML allows you to convert your table to an XML string.

    Alternatively, you can choose your web service method to use the mode of stream instead of the Terminal mode. You can then use the VI of response write in the range of web services to control what to write to the client and when. This seems to be what you mean when you wrote "access to the exit.

    By passerby-tables can serve as exits in LabVIEW 2009 Terminal mode.

  • Web Service SOAP returned XML data are unreadable

    Hello

    I hope someone with some experience of SOAP could help me find a solution for which XML data coming out of a Web Service (SAP production) are illegible.

    In the attached file is the Web Service response, and as you can see in the header of the request is OK. (request to pass a serialized PCB of a 'tail' to 'work'). Request is successful (I manually check by directly connecting the SAP web service and check), but also the data on the printed circuit should be returned (edge stock code, etc...).

    My request and response with the XML data returned works very well in SoapUI.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Darin.K wrote:

    I agree with Phillip (except that you want to "inflate" the payload).  You can simply post a VI with full response defined as default in a string control/indicator and I am betting we could get it sorted.

    Thanks Darin, I think acompress and after reading an article google re: SAP NetWeaver, who used the terms inflate and deflate, I confused my prefixes. I also regularly exchange numbers when transcribing the long numbers. Dyslexic, I am.

    JonnyR - please use the uncompress function I've included on the same link as soon as possible. You will need to remove the header HTML of the string portion. If you do not, unzip it will interpret the header as compressed data and you will get jumbled as output data.

    How the octets must be encoded?

    XML uses utf8 text, you'll have to urlencode (base64) bytes, similar to an email.

    3 problem

    There is no information about the exception that occurs when I try to debug my Application actually when you call the Web Service to:

    resultObj = op.invoke (inputObject);

    Any help.  If you have any other suggestions on how to consume a web service using BB. I don't want to use KSOAP2 because the source code is not updated more and prefer the native BB mode without using the 3rd party jars.

    Thank you

    How do you generate the stub class? Have you used Sun's Wireless Toolkit?

  • OPA 12.2 Query Web Service xml structure

    Hi OPA Experts,

    We installed the version hub 12.2 of the OPA. I use the interface webservice sample project 'HealthEating '. But "Evaluate" the demand is huge, how to fill out only necessary data entry.

    Do you have sample compact xml for tests in SOAPUI?

    Thank you

    is the user name and password is required in the version of hub? , I tried to "authentication failure". So SOAPUI, I created manually authentication, it worked fine,

    It is mandatory by default, as the end point of the web service is restricted to users with the role of user API web service.

  • Application of Web service on weblogic 10.3.6 (Illegal treatment target instruction ("xml"), xml (not case sensitive) is booked by the plug.)

    I built a server service web application in 11.1.1.7 Jdeveloper and deploy it on weblogic 10.3.6 to the demands of the external partner is used.

    I tested the app using the tool SoapUI and everything works fine and I get as a response from the server.

    Use case:

    1 - the customer can not get as a response from the server. They always receive 500 internal error from Server

    2 - I have faced this problem before with other clients because the client sent not writing xml format that is accepted by the server. Problem is solved at the time when they start to send the right xml format.

    3 - newspapers, I see the following stack (part of it): (Google, I knew there's something wrong with xml, the client sends to the server: wso2 - how can I manage this in Wso2ESB that does not Respone to the Client - Stack Overflow)

    4. now I need a way to know exactly what is to reach my server as xml. Is it possible to save the queries coming to the server weblogic. xml Without knowing what will happen on the server, I don't know what is going wrong in the xml file.

    Update 1: I found that I need to add the following lines of code to enable logging on the server. But I thing execution is not to join them and fail before that. No idea how to highlight the execution of any request. Maybe in jdeveloper and weblogic server?

    System.setProperty ("com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.dump", "true");

    System.setProperty ("com.sun.xml.internal.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.dump", "true");

    System.setProperty ("com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.HttpAdapter.dump", "true");

    System.setProperty ("com.sun.xml.internal.ws.transport.http.HttpAdapter.dump", "true");

    System.setProperty ("javax.net.debug", "true");

    Update 2: I just need to set the following properties of java (-Dcom.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.HttpAdapter.dump = true) in the setDomainEnv this file for the side server, see this link: How to apply Log and response with Java JAX - WS Client and web service server? But how to connect their good in files not just their output in the console?

    I am in a position to know what is the cause of the error (Illegal treatment target instruction ("xml"), xml (not case sensitive) is booked by the plug.)

    Update 2 in the question, I am able to see which is reached from the server console. The customer was sending additional labels and with in the body tag, which is not recognized by the server of web service application and it throw the customer 500 internal server error. The problem is solved by sending exactly the XML except without additional or missing tags.

  • best way to get the web service XML JSON etc legacy database

    We have a bunch of old scientific databases for which we would like to expose data via an XML web service.  International XML schemas have been developed in the standards for the sharing of these data we need to provide the data in.  These patterns have very different data of our legacy data structures.  We want to leave our databases within the same structures but to expose the data in them in the XML schemas.

    Building SQL indications XMLFOREST SQL etc. that returns the XML doesn't seem very practical that the structures are very different and the SQL must be very very complex and would be very tedious to make and maintain.  Is there another way to make in the database?  There are tools outside the database such as who can help in that we used in the past and could be used again - but I had much rather that on the database if possible.

    Building SQL indications XMLFOREST SQL etc. that returns the XML doesn't seem very practical that the structures are very different and the SQL must be very very complex and would be very tedious to make and maintain.

    Using SQL/XML is the most flexible way to generate XML from relational data, as you have full control over what you do.

    If the target XML structure is complex, any method will be complex to implement completely in the database anyway.

    There is no tool integrated with Oracle that would take an XML schema and make the mapping with relational data.

    What you can do is a third-party tool allows to design a XSLT stylesheet that would take care of transforming an XML format canonical (easily created from the database of a query) in the target XML instance.

    In this way the complexity lies in the style sheet, and the real transformation could be made within the database.

  • How to get the XML from the Request of Java object before sending. SOAP Web services

    I'm building Java request to Online Web Services and we'll call it application A . I got the WSDL forms the second part of the file in order to communicate with their application and we'll call it application B .

    Of the WSDL file generate the Java required classes that are Requests and Responses . classes Application A will send some request object after setting the parameters required and with the exception of response object of application B .

    The connection is established and the two applications A and B communicate with each other.

    Question:

    Of application A How can I get the xml data (or text file) for the request object before sending it to application B ?

    As described the connection is passing Java object such as request and I know that in some point this request will be converted to xml file. How to get it?

    -EDIT-

    Missing important information which can be confusing.

    I'm generated the Java rating were generated using the Axis framework

    The problem is solved by, add the following statements in the bindingStub class that was automatically generated from the WSDL file to the web-services you are trying to access.

       String request = _call.getMessageContext().getRequestMessage().getSOAPPartAsString();
     String response = _call.getMessageContext().getResponseMessage().getSOAPPartAsString();

    These statements should be placed after the following method call _call.invoke otherwise you will get NullPointerException .

    _callis a variable of type org.apache.axis.client.Cal and it is automatically generated byAxis
