WebCenter content: login page

Hi all

Can I know what is the default page when I type http://xxx:16200 / cs.

Also is it possible to change the default favicon and the logo on the page that comes when I type the url above

If so, is it possible to do so without creating a custom component

If the custom component is required may I know how to do it

Thank you
S. Andy

I tried the portal.htm on the server edition, but the change is not stable. After some time, the logo changed to the default.

Just out of curiosity, wasn't it after restarting the server? If so, I guess that there is already a component (maybe even a standard), which modifies the page and it refreshes your changes. In particular, it is easy to check - just to search for all occurrences of portal.htm and check what is the winner after a reboot.

In any case, the thread contains a link to an article which in my humble opinion contains all the necessary details (including the model). If this isn't the case, share where you get stuck.

Well, you can use RIDC API for this.that is best suited

  • WebCenter content to display 404 instead of redirecting to the login page

    Hello

I exposed my Contribution files using Web URL mapped folders. However, if I get an invalid sign in URL, it redirects me to a login page. How can I prevent content server to do?

I would like to redirect to 404 instead of this page.

How do you disable the URL?

If you have a URL like http://server/idc/idcplg?IdcService=GET_FILE&dID=67&dDocName=WC-000030 , mentioned in the article, and you disable the Server side, you will get an error (or another existing page); If you disable the other party, the server must parse the string first (therefore, the application authentication) and only then can give you an answer based on the problem-> example http://server/idc/idcplg?IdcService=GET_FILE&dID=6789 can lead to an "Item not found" error or "you are not allow to view this object ', http://server/idc/idcplg?IdcService=GET_FILE_XYZ&dID=67 "Service not found"etc..

Overall, the 404 error does not provide useful information, and typing in (deliberately!) a bad URL is meaningless.

  • Try to customize login page for ASA 5505 SSL - VPN

    Nice day

I'm looking for help to customize the login page for the ssl - vpn as mentioned. When the vpn is configured, the default template allows my customers to connect with this: IMAGE 1

While trying to change the login page, I have to create a new customization without CLIENT SSL VPN ACCESS-> PORTAL-> CUSTOMIZATION file in the ASDM. When I do this and I'm trying to change the login page, it comes up with 2 forms of authentication and a fast internal password like this: IMAGE 2

How can I change the login page, I created so that users only see the fields username and password for regular as the default template?

Thank you all for your time and assistance

    Joel

    Hi Joel,

What you see is just the preview, right?

Preview displays the purpose of customization, since the password internal and the second authentication controls are the features that are activated in different parts of the configuration.

    WebVPN

    allow outside

    internal-password enable

    !

    attributes global-tunnel-group DefaultWEBVPNGroup

    secondary-authentication-server-group second_authentication_server

INFO: This command applies only to the SSL VPN - Clientless and AnyConnect.

So I recommend to assign this object of customization to a group policy and test access to the content of the specific connection profile.

    Thank you.

  • ALTER Session timeout in Webcenter content system

    Hello

The default Session in the Webcenter content system takes an hour. Must I increase to 10 hours. I tried to change it to 10 hours, but the session timeout system is always only one hour.

Do we need to apply a patch or custom component is required, to increase the Session timeout?

Here are the steps I took to change the value of timeout of session in 10 hours.

    Test 1:
Login in Console Weblogic-> deployments-> Expand "Oracle Universal Content Management - Content Server"-> and click on ' / '-> click Settings - > then changed value of timeout of Session in 10 hours.

    Test 2:

Connect you in Weblogic Console-> deployments-> click "Oracle Universal Content Management - Content Server"-> click Settings - > then changed value of timeout of Session in 10 hours.

    Both did not work

Can you please how to proceed now.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

You've restarted the WLS server admin and server managed UCM after making the changes? Make sure you start wls first, then the University Complutense of Madrid.

    Thank you

I think it's because of OSH. Anyone know this problem.

-Click on the login page url will be like http://webcenter.oracle.local/webcenter/samlits/its?RPID=rp_00001 & TARGET = http://192.168.56.101:80 / adfAuthentication & login = true

and error saying page is not available.  I think it's because of OSH. How do I solve this problem

try to change your hosts file in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc this place.

  • Can not find the management point for content in page editing mode

    Hi all

I am a newbie in oracle weblogic portal and you want to use its content management. I could however not find the catalogue of management contained in the right-hand side of the search catalog pane when I was in edit page mode. In my view, there must be something wrong when I did the configuration of the repository creation Untility or WebCenter content.

Can someone help me or point the key on me, thank you.

    Daniel

    Hello.

You mix different products and concepts.

Oracle WebLogic Portal. I assume you mean WebCenter portal.

Make RCU you are only for creating schemas that use Oracle products.

    Summarizing the steps you have:

    -Install Oracle WebCenter content.

-Install the SST to enable inline Portal-Content editing.

-Add cookie-path to your portal in case being a portal application framework Application. With this he will not lose the current session.

-Set up a repository in WebCenter Portal connection and mark it as primary connection.

I hope jiri reference and this advice / a few steps away you will find the solution.

Any other questions you are welcome to the WebCenter Portal world.

    Kind regards.

There are two things that stand out immediately as incorrect:

    • You call mysql_real_escape_string() before connecting to the database. The connection must come first.
    • You use the original functions of PHP MySQL. They have been deprecated and do not work on several servers. Use MySQLi .

  • File based with webcenter content repository

We want to implement a content management solution using webcenter. We are very well for our content in the file system, as we do not want to buy a separate license for the AAU.
(My assumption is that we have to separate license for Complutense University of MADRID. (Right?)

When I drag and drop a file (html, word-doc) etc I see no connection to jspx site content repository, presenter content option. I think its because I am using the file according to the content repository. How should view us the repository then jspx on page file-based content.

What are the other limitations with file based repository of content?

    Thank you
    Sanjeev

In fact, when you purchase a license for WebCenter portal, you use limited to Webcenter content as well. This means that you can use the WebCenter content to store your content as long as access you it via the portal WebCenter. If you don't need to purchase additional licenses, and you can use WebCente content as your repository!
This way you can make good use of the presenter content.

  • OBIEE 11 g: 1. need to hide the selection of the language of the login page option

    Hi Experts,

I have some customization of OBIEE requirements:

    1. need to hide the login page language selection option (or if not English should be maintained as static selection)

-J' tried to comment on content languagenames.xml of the/opt/fmw01/obiee/Oracle_BI1/bifoundation/web/msgdb/messages locatinon
but now instead of English... now actually appeared... even for others too.

    2. need to hide my account tab option within the application.

    Thank you
    Deep' his

    Hello

All point one: try to edit instanceconfig.xml by inserting the tags:

         en

Now chosen language will be English, and given only one language is allowed no selection will not appear.

    Hope it's useful.

  • Ss4 login pages are empty

    WebSphere Application Server

    LiveCycle ss4

    Server SQL 2012

    I can connect to http://localhost:9080/lc / / AdminUI

    I can connect to http://localhost:9080 / / lc/system/console/packages

    I can connect to http://localhost:9080 / workspace /

    I can connect to http://localhost:9080 / pdfgui /

The rest of these pages all the result in a blank, WHY?

    http://localhost:9080/lc/welcome

    http://localhost:9080 / / lc/fm

    http://localhost:9080/LC/libs/LiveCycle/core/content/login.html

    http://localhost:9080/lc/ws

    Follow these steps:

    (1) stop the weblogic.

    (2) go inside/crx-repository . Delete all files except "install". If this is the cluster, perform this step for all nodes.

    (3) restart the weblogic.

Steps above would install and start all beams. All existing data within the repository crx would disappear.

    I hope this helps.
