  • Office Jet Pro 8625: Web update Services downloads partially, then freezes

    When I try to download an update for web services, my Office Jet 8625 downloads a part of the update then just stops downloading.  Sometimes the reports printer as little as 5% of the downloaded software, sometimes as much as 45% downloads before the download progress comes to an abrupt stop.  Or anywhere in between.  Finally, I get the error message "failed download.  Product update could not be downloaded"I tried to restart the printer and I restarted the computer (even though I think that the printer is download regardless of the computer).

    All other downloads to the computer (including video streaming bandwidth intensive) are no problem.

    Hi @Esteban001.

    Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that your 8625 cannot download an update of the firmware. I would like to help.

    I see two ways to address this issue. It could be a bad quality of Web Services State of the connection is causing this to happen. You can find Web Services troubleshooting in this post from @E-roqPro tips: Troubleshooting printing and scanning to Email Issues in e-all-in-one printers.

    The other approach is to download the update of the firmware on your computer and then update the printer. You can find the update of the firmware on the same page as the drivers and software for printers. Just scroll down until you see the Firmware and click on it. Here is a link to the page of the pilot 8625.

  • Need assistance on the integration of Document services

    Hello!

    I'm trying the webcenter tutorial specifically in the integration of content and I have already configured a content adapter oracle server-based repository connection.
    However the use of the Service of the Document, I can't change (the buttons are disabled) the content displayed in the list. I tried adding new content, declined as well.

    Check the logs of the content server, I got these:

    Event generated by the user "Lisa" host "CIS". Content element (null)' was not archived successfully. User "Lisa" has sufficient privileges.

    An error has occurred. The stack trace below shows more information.

    + ! csUserEventMessage, Lisa, SIC! $! csUnableToCheckIn, (null)! csUserInsufficientAccess, Lisa +.
    intradoc.common.ServiceException:! csUnableToCheckIn, (null)! csUserInsufficientAccess, Lisa

    Is it really possible to edit the content server content it accesses via a webcenter application? As an external user with the privilege of reading/writing/deletion?

    Really appreciate an immediate response on this.

    Thank you!
    Jamster

    Hey,.

    I think I can expand a bit on the interaction of the user between webcenter and AAU works when you use the service of documents.

    When you create the connection via the documents to connect to the service of a CIS (or according to your version of webcenter RIDC) is created between the app Webcenter UCM. By default, when you use CIS or RIDC approved connection is made between the application server and the content via standard sockets server.

    When the documents service makes a call to the University Complutense of MADRID, he claimed the user currently signed as part of the application. When you do your own integration, you also argue that user. Content server then up the permissions for this user name and authorize (grant permissions accordingly). ; If the user is found, it applies the role of 'guest' default content server, so why your consignment was not working.

    The usual Setup is to have both the server weblogic accommodation webcenter and UCM by lifting their modules to the same directory (LDAP) server. In this way, whenever a user is maintained from the application back to the Complutense University of MADRID, the search is successful and the permissions are applied.

    Hope that illuminates a little more on the operation in-house.

  • My components fax service windows will not let me add it, it says insert the xp disc I don't no one.

    I'm trying to set up my fax machine!  My windows fax component service won't let me add says insert xp disc which I did not and said look these files H:\WXHOEM\i386. Please help me

    Since we don't know anything about your system, I'll give you some instructions which will work for XP Service Pack 3.

    To install the fax of XP with no CD Service, download the version of Service Pack 3 to XPFax.zip since my SkyDrive and extract/unzip the file in a folder on your desktop or somewhere on your system to a folder name, you can remember (there are 35 files in zip archive).

    During the installation of the XP Fax Services and it asks you your installation CD, change the location of the file to point to the folder where the 35 files on your system.  Whenever the installation asks you for a file on your CD, change the location to look in the folder XPFax, until the installation is complete.

    Restart and test.

    Here's how to get the file XPFax.zip from my SkyDrive:

    I downloaded a copy of XP Pro SP3 files you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).

    Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:

    http://CID-6a7e789cab1d6f39.SkyDrive.live.com/redir.aspx?RESID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311

    When you see the files available for download, you will not see the file extension (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip etc), but when download you them they will have the right extension (most of the time).

    When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, it cannot save the file with an extension (such as .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.

    You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension.  You don't want to use a file called XPFax when the name of the file should really be called XPFax.zip (if the downloaded file has no extension you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to run).

  • DataBind method call returns null in the WebCenter content filtering

    Hello

    I got code that has a problem and I am new to the WebCenter content and filters that can be added. We have a FileNameFilter class that begins with the code

    / public class CWEFileNameFilter implements FilterImplementor {}

    public CWEFileNameFilter() {}

    Super();

    }

    public int doFilter (workspace workspace, DataBinder dataBinder,

    ExecutionContext executionContext) throw {DataException

    Service string = dataBinder.getLocal ("IdcService");

    ....

    }

    }

    However, service is sometimes return null and then filter throws a NPE.

    My questions are:

    (1) can we explain what dataBinder.getLocal ("IdcService"); is done and why it might come back as null

    (2) anyone can provide links to documentation that explains the filters and a little more on the object DataBinder as the JavaDoc is not much help.

    Thank you
    Marc

    Hi Marc,

    Below the code will give the name of the service for which the filter is implemented LocalData

    Service string = dataBinder.getLocal ("IdcService");

    for example below

    http://localhost:16200/cs/idcplg? IdcService = DOC_INFO_BY_NAME & dDocName = 1111111 & IsJava

    This example displays the entire response including localdata data and results that are created in the execution of the service. Here is the code snippet

    LocalData @Properties

    DocUrl =https://localhost:16200/cs/weblayout/groups/secure/documents/test/mhdk/mjg1/1111111.pdf

    IdcService = DOC_INFO_BY_NAME

    If String = dataBinder.getLocal ("IdcService") service; Service = "DOC_INFO_BY_NAME."

    Under blog will give an idea about the filter but the best place to learn or start is "The Definitive Guide to Stellent Content Server Development" by Brian Huff

    Also, I recommend reading ' WebCenter Content Services Reference Guide '

    < SkinFactoryImpl > < getSkin > cannot find a skin that fits the family portal and version v1. We will use the portal.desktop of the skin.

    You must install the latest patch bundle for WebCenter portal.

    I believe that this error is a bug caused by certain features that are available in the portal Builder, but not in a framework application.

    Basically, WebCenter is throwing items of metadata to specific models of devices. In the portal Builder, you can create different templates depending on the device, but this feature is not available in the framework where the error.

    Just install the latest patch bundle and your problem should be solved.

    Also... Note that Oracle recommendation is to use the portal generator and not to develop any new application with the framework.

    I try to install 11.1.2 OAM in accordance with this document

    Article 4,
    under table 4 downloads for a new Oracle Fusion Middleware for Oracle Identity and Access Management 11g R2 Installation, I'm particularly interested in Oracle Identity and Access Management 11 g (11.1.2.0.0)
    But on the right side the link points to aru.us.oracle.com, and I can't access it.

    When I go to metalink or edellivery, I can't find 11.1.2 version of the software. I find 'Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Media Pack for Linux x 86', but I do not see 11.1.2 version here.

    Can someone help me by pointing to the location where I can download 11.1.2 version of the software.

    Thank you

  • Customizing task spaces WebCenter flows (Nov. 2010)

    To all those who know:

    I tried to reach a customization of the workflow WebCenter spaces and have been using this white paper (March 2010) as a reference:

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/WebCenter/OWCs-ps1-custom-taskflow-WP-129410.PDF

    In the white paper, I'm following with 'prepare WebCenter spaces for customization of task flow:

    ---
    To customize the workflow in WebCenter spaces:
    1. download the Oracle Technology Network (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/webcenter/files/oracle.webcenter.customization_application.zip) oracle.webcenter.customization_application.zip and extract the content locally.

    2. in JDeveloper, open the SpacesTaskflowCustomization.jws file.
    ---

    Sounds simple... but the file "oracle.webcenter.customization_application.zip" seems to have disappeared from the Oracle.com website: I get redirected to the WebCenter product page when you try to access the URL provided in the zip file.

    This raises two questions:

    (a) is the method described in the book 'valid' - in other words, do I have to download the customization_application zip file and...

    (b) If Yes, where can I get the file? (I've tried a number of strings to search in the box 'search', not to mention "Custom Task flows", the name of the ZIP file, etc. - with no luck).

    Any help is appreciated! (Thanks!)

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/WebCenter/OWCs-R11-extend-spaces-WP-132596.PDF should have everything you need including links to the files correct zip for your version of spaces.

  • Call to Webservice SOAP SOA11G UCM

    Hello members,

    I have a requirement to store Documents in the AAU and get the URL to access the Document as the response. I explored SOAP WSDL under the Administration of the University Complutense of MADRID. I see WSDL for Checkin (Services of Upload) and Docinfo (content Information Services), downloaded these WSDL files and called using SOAP-UI. Unfortunately Docinfo Service does not DocUrl element. Under the direction of the Web Service and adds elements of dDocUrl chain and I bounced the Sever content. Still no luck with the URL. Could you please help me with this problem?

    If there are other ways to invoke the Services of the AAU via SOA11G theat would be also welcome. Help, please.

    Kind regards

    Martine

    You can also use the RIDC API to call a service of the University Complutense of MADRID and the results. Visit this link for more info about CRMI:

  • csIncomingAddressNotAllowed - JDeveloper test failed to connect at the Complutense University of MADRID

    Hello
    I am trying to run the 'tutorial for Oracle WebCenter developers' (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/webcenter.1111/e10273/toc.htm) of the Oracle WebCenter Documentation. In short, I try to run a simple application Oracle Webcenter using Oracle JDeveloper Wizard.

    My environment:
    -a: it runs Oracle WebCenter 11.1.1.5 (default developer installation) of the machine
    -machine B: it runs Oracle UCM (Content Management Server System. Version 11 GR 1 material - 11.1.1.4.0) (default installation of developer)
    -C: it runs Oracle database machine
    -the machines running JDeveloper 11.1.1.5 (with WebCenter 11.1.1.4 extensions installed bundle)

    I'm stuck on the point: "6 connection to and content management repositories.
    When I try to test the connection of JDev to Oracle UCM, UCM server logs the following exception:
    "
    [...]
    Caused by: intradoc.common.ServiceException:! csIncomingAddressNotAllowed, 10.1.12.2
    [...]
    "
    .. .and so the test connection failed.

    PS 10.1.12.2 is the IP address JDev running machine.

    Each entry will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much.

    Best regards
    S.
