Weight of the race of eps placed in indesign

I have a range of books layouted in indesign,

in which I place a large number of files generated in illustrator eps.

Resizing eps images the race more weight, changes to lines

Although I unchecked the option adjust the weight of race during the measurement in the transform menu.

Does anyone have experience with this problem

as I don't want to scale hand 3000 files!

Depending on the ultimate fate of these InDesign files, some approaches post-processing might work.

If you make PDF (s), then the "Fix released" feature in Acrobat Professional allows you to set a minimum value of line to apply to the entire PDF. Also, if these documents will be printed on the market, many RIPs/workflow systems have the ability to do the same thing at the time. Ask the printer...

  • Increase the weight of the race of certain paths in a trace

I am trying to increase the weight of the race of the outer circle on the side of a compass diagram. I would be grateful if I could get some tips how to on this subject.

you want to maintain that sort of look like imperfect?

If this is not the case, just a new circle to the desired weight would be simpler to design. If you do, it is difficult to suggest a particular thing. Maybe a brush rags?

  • Cannot control the weight of the race on triangle

    Hello

I created three shapes using the shape tool: a circle, a rectangle and a triangle (using the star tool and by decreasing the number of sides).

I want to customize the weight of the race on these forms. I am able to customize on the square and the circle, but not on the triangle. How can I fix this?

    Thank you!

Select the shape with the selection tool (just like the other two) and make your choice of formatting from the Panel control or stroke. Something must happen so a screenshot would be helpful: Please include the appearance Panel and the layers panel.

  • Help with the weight of the race while drawing objects

From today, every time I have to draw any object (square, ellipse, etc.), the weight of the race is VERY thick.  I went to the dash Panel and it is set to 1 point, so I'm puzzled

as to why he was so thick drawing. What else can be the cause of this problem?

Here is an example of an ellipse. I just drew and have not changed at all. The plan should not be anywhere near what a default thickness:

If that's what you see, you don't have step 2.

The tool of the artboard in the tools on the left of the document window Panel and looks like a Tic-Tac-Toe.

After choosing the artboard tool, the Panel popup control changes to display options for work plans.

In addition, if you are wondering what caused this: when you created the original work plan and that you have entered in dimensions, such as 8.5 by 11, you had your units the value of points or something else except thumbs (or what unit of measure you actually intended). The computer does not do what you want it to do. To do this, what you tell it to do.

  • Line move when I increase the weight of the race

    Hello
I use dashes in a document. I have a series of lines that are centered on the grid lines; However, when I increase the weight of the race, the line moves as if the upper part of the race is anchored and not the center of the line.

I am unable to find any setting to change this, but it's really make my job difficult. Can anyone help with this?

    Thank you!

    gleake,

In such cases, the first assumption is aligned to the pixel grid.

You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher.

You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

  • bizarre distortion of the shapes when the increase of the weight of the race in illustrator

In Illustrator CS6, when I increase the weight of the race of an object - for example an Octagon, as I increase the weight of the race, the object deforms more. What is the reason for this and how can I stop it from happening? This is a common problem I've met several times now. It is very annoying.

Turn off the infernal Snap To Pixel Grid option for the object. Also disable it for new objects.

  • How to stop to change the weight of the race when changing the size of an object in CS5 on Windows 7?

I'm not sure what I did to make this happen or how to change it back in, but for some reason when I change the size of a subject line / it changes the weight of the race as well. (For example, if I drew an ellipse with race weight pt 2 and then increase the size of the weight of the race would be pt 2,856 or some such number instead of 2 pt.) Does anyone know how to change this back?

    Thank you!

go to Edition-> Preferences-> general and uncheck the box 'features and scale effects.

  • Adobe Illustrator CS6 don't allow me to change the weight of the race

The one having the same problem? : I'm trying to reduce the stroke of 1 pt .5pt in Adobe Illustrator, and he does not accept the command. I can increase the race from 1 pt to 2pts however. This isn't a problem in CS5.

    DD,

In such cases, the first assumption is aligned to the pixel grid.

You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher. It is crucial that the checkbox is disabled completely, not just a - which also count as ticked.

It may be noted that even align with the pixel grid is cleared with all the selected objects, align new objects to the pixel grid is checked as the creation of new objects will result in these new objects being aligned, even when they are created from existing objects that can happen with Pathfinder operations.

You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

  • weight of the race

I noticed several times that the definition of the stroke weight left also changes, in some cases, the weight of the straight run, even if the setting is dissociated.

I tried to look at this with different combinations, but cannot replicate, can you please provide a short screencast of the show if you encounter or reproduce on your end? Which would illustrate the question with the modification of the Untied line attributes.

You can use http://www.techsmith.com/download/jing/ to record the actions of the screen and then download and share the url.

  • Change the weight of the race?

It makes me a little crazy. Whenever I use my race weight selection tool is automatically set to 213.28px
I would like to change that to 3px. There is a big jump, you know? I tried to find an answer to this for the better part of the morning, and I feel that I forget some stupid little details. Thus, any help please!

To remember your last setting.  If select the rectangular shape and set it to 2 px until you drag a shape.  Then close and reopen Photoshop, it should always be set to 2 pixels.  I just checked and it works for me.

  • Problems with Illustrator CS6 not accepting not weight of the race with decimals

So I use Illustrator for almost ten years and have never run into this one. When enter a race on a line with a weight point decimal comme.25 or 4.5 is maintains the rounded number. For example, I enter 0.75 and it makes 1 point or I have between 5.5 and there he made 6 points. If I enter the number manually or choose from the menu drop-down (0.25, 0.5 or 0.75) he maintains rounded my shots for the same number. How I did and how to fix it?

Thank you. It worked. She was driving me crazy.

  • Weight of the race cannot be changed within 1 point

I'm in halfway through a project of Illustrator and suddenly, without apparent reason, STROKE weight refuse to be what was that less than 1 pt.

I read the previous older posts that suggest unchecking the "align new pixel grid objects" in the transformation Panel, what I've done.

It made no difference. So, I selected all the features of the work and made sure the 'Alighn New items... '. "is unchecked. It also has not changed anything.

It is not a problem for the new features that I do, I can do these less than 1 pt. But any / transformation of the object strokes, copied features or existing traits refuse even to be changed.

    Three questions:

I can change that in this file and how?

This problem occurs in all future files unless I change something, when you create a new file?

How can I prevent this from happening again half way through creating a file (that is to say, why did happen in the first place! A I press a combination of keys inadvertently?)

    Thanks much for any help!

FYI, I'm using the latest version of the illustrator of the creative cloud

OK, for anyone who reads this and has the same problem with CC version of Illustrator, I found align the box grid of pixels.

In the TRANSFORM Panel, it'S NOT in the drop down... instead, it is grey print at the bottom of the processing area.

To really see the bottom of the processing area, you must FULLY open by clicking on the <> the arrows that appear to the left of the title word TRANSFORM Panel.

You may need to do a couple of times to get the fully opened Panel.

See the bottom of my picture. I see that this could be easily accidentally checked without knowing it's probably what happened.

I hope this helps others in the future! Good luck with your projects!

  • Keep the weight of the race when the zoom in a model

    Hello

I'm building an animation that illustrates the construction of something in Photoshop using the grid, guides, and Bezier curves. I need to represent these graphically and is not using a capture screen animation.

I need to zoom in on a model up to 800% and show how roads and grid are manipulated in work pixelated. When you zoom in, the paths that show the grid and traces of Bézier must be 1px wide at all zoom levels.

I create 'Bezier' traits using the path in AE tool. I'll be a line weight that apply in order to show the traits. When I Zoom in, the lines must stay the same weight.

What is the best way to achieve this?

    Thank you
