  Hi all. I have a client computer that I was the elimination of viruses from his laptop. It's a netbook Eee brand, running windows 7 Home Basic.   To change the password in El Capitan Mail 9.2, you could do a little weird way:

  Mail / preferences / accounts / Account Information / Server outgoing (SMTP) mail / change the list of SMTP servers / (choose the account you want to update), at the bottom of the window:

  User name:...

  Password:...

  It's viable work around me for my Gmail accounts. I hope it help you too!

  My iMac started having weird errors on mail.  It started when I started to post and all my accounts were gone.  I tried to re - add, but it hung on the iCloud account.  Doing some research, I found suggestions to check my settings to iCloud.  When I checked preferences, only Photos has been verified, and when I tried to activate all the others, they were immediately disabled.   Your touchpad has probably a function 'pinch to zoom', which is supposed to function as the zoom on a touchscreen smart phone.

  If your touchpad settings, you can disable this feature.  Unfortunately, brand Toshiba laptops don't usually have this option, so just be very careful never to touch the cushion with two fingers at the same time.

  You can also contact Toshiba, because some (but only some!) of their laptops have an optional download to provide the touchpad settings.  It varies depending on the model, then only Toshiba can tell you with certainty.
