What are the different ports used by BTA?
Having recently had 'fun' to getting a load agent working in our secure local network, I was wondering if someone could clarify what are the different ports to/from?
I am aware of the following:
9001 actually mentioned when you configure a load agent
1099 mentioned when you configure a data collector
1098 -? necessary for the agent to load (I would hazard a guess to this also being the collector of linked data)
4444 -? necessary for the agent to load
7071 -? necessary for the agent to load
I had also the following ports was told by looking at similar issues (but they didn't need opening in my recent exercise):
7073
8083
8088
I also suggested that information added to the knowledge base article (Doc - ID: 787226.1) because they may need to open on the firewall.Ian
Oracle.port.RMI = 4444
Oracle.port.http = 8088
Oracle.port.empstart = 9001
Oracle.port.uil2 = 7071
oracle.port.dataCollector = 7073
Oracle.port.WebService = 8083
Oracle.port.JNDI.rmi = 1098
Oracle.port.JNDI = 1099
Oracle.port.HTTPS = 8433You can change the ports

Hi, I created slideshows in Bridge, and they all work very well. They are exactly what I had in mind, but it was the only solution that I could find that I understood. My knowledge of web design is minimal at most. I enclose the slideshows on my html site using iframes, but it won't load properly in Safari.
I have included the code at the bottom of this post.
The code dealing with the slideshow and IFrame in question are towards the bottom of the document, I have them marked in bold. All styles regarding the < div > locations and these are on a separate style sheet, I don't know if you need to troubleshoot.
I was wondering if someone could clue me in what I can do with this code to make this slide show work properly in safari. I've checked chrome and load it properly. Not sure about other browsers, I do not have access currently.
I also wonder if there is another way I can create a slideshow using CSS5. This slideshow is fine, but I was also looking to include text - image names and descriptions - without having to edit each image in Photoshop to include the text.
Thank you for your time, any help would be appreciated.

I bought a new laptop over the weekend (15-ab121dx - CPU AMD A - 10 p 8700, 6 GB of DDR3 RAM memory) and the sales associate could not tell me the max supported RAM. I guess I could quickly find the info online, but was strangely wrong... I searched HP and the Internet in general site but can't find what the maximum RAM allowed in this laptop. I'm assuming that the laptop is so new, the information is just not there yet? He came only installed with 6 GB or ram (SODIMM 1 is 4 GB and the 2nd SODIMM 2 GB) and I want to change to 16GB SODIMM (2x8GB) or 32 GB (2x16GB) SODIMM. The problem is that I can't find the maximum supported memory, speed, memory type for my new machine. One of the main reasons that I decided to go with this laptop is I read good things about the A10 AMD 8700 p and that it can work with RAM speeds up to 2133 mhz... But before I buy the fast RAM, I want first of all to ensure that this speed of RAM will work in this laptop? Please list the supported RAM types, size of RAM, RAM speeds for this laptop. In addition, support DDR3L, DDR3, or both? Thank you!
Yes thank you, but the link you have sent (the model computer laptop 15-ab121dx on the HP site) was the first place I checked when I started searching for information on the laptop. It not there no guide service or y at - it clues about the supported RAM configurations. I knew that the price of the machine and the CPU is perhaps a little too good to be true. ... Not extensible user is bad. Looks like the laptop everything would need to be dismantled to even just replacing the hard drive and, to install or replace the motherboard of the laptop RAM must be removed! I should have done more research. But I guess even if I had, I wouldn't have found much (since having to place a post in a forum to know these basic things like access and type of RAM)... I plan to return it. Thanks for the quick responses to the post office - this was appreciated.

What are the different use of ACFS and DBFS files case?
Hi gurus
I heard the OCFS2 and ASM file system sharing.
Is there anyone Live Production, usage case of ACF and DBFS shared file system provided by Oracle?
Can we all ACFS OUC DBFS sharing file system in the deployment of their production for a use case.
Grateful if someone shares his or her story experience as if someone had faced problems or stability associated with this file system during the test or production environment is ready.
Concerning
Hitgon
I don't see any use for DBFS. Just a historical anomaly.
ACFS has any number of use cases, not necessarily related to a database. Encryption, snapshots and replication are brilliant abilities. Use it to replace all your third-party file systems and file servers. I use a public Webinar on this topic next week if interested.

Please let me know if there is no table interface or api used to make the conversion of the Bank in r12.

What are the different ways to initialize the elements of data block?
Hello
I have an already developed form works correctly. There a DataBlock whose elements are not database. There are also database datablock in this form. On some basic database datablock users and also revenge based data non-base is filled with the data.
I can't find any code that initializes the value of the database no blocking again then its value is initialized. I wonder how the value of the block of data is initialized without explicitly initializing it.
Can someone let me know how its value is initialized?
Check the LOV or visit the level trigger block as once - new - record - instance once - new - block - instance trigger.

What are the (VARIANT OPAQUE) opaque types?
A number of types of oracle as XMLType, Anydata and lcr$ _row_record are defined in SYS 'AS OPAQUE VARYING (*).
USING THE LIBRARY.
I wonder what is it? The only thing in the documentation I've found is "Oracle OPAQUE Types" of the SQLJ Developer's Guide. (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/java.112/e10590/objcoll.htm#i1008113)
But I could not understand how it relates to PL/SQL. How can I make my own opaque type?
What are the benefits of the opaque types compared to the normal PL/SQL object types?>
In "The PL/SQL language Reference" book it nothing on this "AS OPAQUE VARIABLE", so how do I use just TYPE CREATE or REPLACE to make an opaque type?
>
There is no syntax like "AS VARIANT OPAQUE."When I said
>
You can also create your own types 'opaque' using TYPE CREATE or REPLACE
>
what I mean is that the types of Oracle you create is "opaque", in the sense that at the level of the instance object is just a series of bytes. You can access different components by using the dot notation.
>
He won't in details how to create PL/SQL
>
The data cartridge doc I cited goes into detail of how to create them; It is not just call them OPAQUE types. But functionally, they are since the internal components are concealed to Oracle. You must implement the cartridge interface functions that manipulate objects of your cartridge and Oracle Oracle does not or record what the internal structure is.The doc you city also explains how to create in Java that implements the appropriate interface.
As a user, you need to focus on how to implement the functionality, you need and do not worry about the question of whether a class or an object, you create gets listed as OPAQUE in the dictionary.
