What are the works of Windows 9 and WkCalRem.ex and have to be on my computer?

I have windows 7, but when I did a ck interview he asked if I wanted to stop Windows works 9 to run at startup.  I have Microsoft works and do not download WW9.  So what I do with it?  Should it be removed and how did get on my computer?    2nd question, what is WkCalRem.ex and he needs to run at startup?

Microsoft Works is an office abandoned by Microsoft suite. Earlier, a lot of computers came with Works preinstalled by the OEM. If you use Microsoft Office or a different office suite, you can safely remove Works from your startup.

Also contains a calendar App. WkCalRem is the reminder notification program that tells you when events in the Works Calendar. Again, if you use Outlook or a similar program for managing your calendar, instead of work, you can remove your startup WkCalRem.exe.

First of all, note that it is not Windows XP Pro and Windows XP, there
Windows XP Pro vs Windows XP Home Edition.

XP Home and Professional are identical except that professional
includes a few features (primarily related to security and networking)
away from home? Most individuals need not and would never use
These extra features and will see no benefit from the upgrade.

Also note another point, not included in one of the foregoing:
Professional only allows ten simultaneous network connections and home

Do you mean without errors in the text or formatting? When you place an Excel doc, the Place dialog box allows you to display Import Options. You can choose to place as a non formatted table and apply to any InDesign Table Style.

  • What are the optimal values for mac and arp timeout values

    Hi guys.

What are the best values for 'mac address-table-time of ageing' and "arp timeout" by following scenarios? :

-single sg300-10 as hosts Layer 3 - with a maximum of 10 local switch (directly connected)

    - and a 3750 x-stack with 100 local hosts + hsrp with a battery of the same kind

or for asa 5520 as internet gateway for 500 customers?

I use now a time of aging mac 300 seconds and a time-out of the arp of 3600 seconds.

    Is - this okay.?

    Thank you.

These values should be fine. I don't know why the switch is layer 3 since you have of the 3750 and the ASA5520. If you start to see overflow errors, you should consider using the layer 2 switch.

  • What are the steps to create, format and install a new virtual disk in Windows

I swear I've scoured the Internet for days trying to find the details of this process, and I'm embarrassed to have failed in my quest to understand what I must be a very simple thing.  The best I can do is this:

Step 1: Create a new vmdk using vmware-vdiskmanager

    Step 2:?

Step 3: Get your vmdk newly formatted using vmware-mount, or using "Map Virtual Disk" of the Workstation option

Now, you will see that somewhere between step 1 and 3, it is an essential step of the new vmdk format so that it can be recognized and mounted.  Simply, I can't find any example online how to do this.  I just know someone will say "just attach to a virtual machine and format her", to which my answer is "how?  It won't let me get an unformatted disk.  When I try to go directly to step 3 after step 1, I get the following error, "error reading volume information.  Please select another file to disk.

    Help!

    VM--> change the settings.

    Hardware tab.

    Add the button.

Select "hard drive".  Follow the instructions in the wizard.  At the selection of create new floppy or use existing, select "Use an existing virtual disk" and find the vmdk file, you have created.

  • What is the difference between Windows XP and Windows Vista?

    Hello

I do not exactly know what research or information sites I'm going to ask about my computer. It came to my attention somehow they know my browser etc. He would state that you use 'Windows Vista' and all the factors thast go hand in hand.  My question... If I have Windows XP How can I also have Windows Vista? I've always had Windows XP-2000...  They are the same or equal? I thought they were two separate.

Another question... Internet Explorer is an 'operating system' and Windows is a browser? Is this correct? I get confused on both.

    Thank you for your support

Windows Vista is a more recent version of Microsoft Windows than Windows XP.  Windows 7 is the current version of Microsoft Windows with Windows 8 to be released soon.  Get a brief overview:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/history
    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Microsoft_Windows

You have not, "Windows Vista also".  You have probably one or the other, and perhaps a corruption in your current system is originally a misreport on some web pages.

Discover what operating system you use:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/help/which-version-of-the-Windows-operating-system-am-i-running

After that, we will understand what Internet Explorer browser (just a simple web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, etc) you are running:
While in Internet Explorer, press ALT from your keyboard and while holding this button down (hold it down) also press the 'H' key on your keyboard.  This should indicate the "Help" menu in which you will find the choices 'A connection of Internet Explorer'.  Release the keys you pressed on and choose that.

You can report both of these things here.

If you want even MORE information about your computer, I suggest running and results of this free program to print: Belarc Advisor.  Its output (this is a web link) will provide you with detailed hardware and software on your system information.

  • What is the difference between Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail?

    Separated from this thread.

I realize that starting from 7/11, Windows Live is more effective on my Windows Vista system.  I understand that and I have since beengetting my Hotmail acc't workingusing only Windows Live Mail.  This am, I tried to create a new account hotmail for my friend, but we couldn't get it to accept and just stopped trying.  Now, today, I can not send any e-mail because "you cannot configure Windows Mail to use a web (HTTP) that is running Windows Vista based."  WHA?  I managed somehow to get into Windows Live when I tried to get a new account hotmail for my friend?  Also, I also receive a message from the Assistant on "you want to want to leave, you have not created your new account?  (probably not the exact wording).  In response, I clicked Yes and no, and still I can't get out of this Windows Live.  I would like to purge my system of this needless to Windows Live and only use Windows Live Mail.  Can someone help me to do this?  (My knowledge of couputer is at a basic level, so hopefully it won't be too difficult to understand.)  Thank you!!!

(With the HTTP mess), it seems Windows Mail and Windows LIVE Mail are two very different things.

I am not a technician, but try to stay up-to-date. I have known that Vista sucks because it came out, but it surprised me, never have used before today. So I wonder...  Windows LIVE Mail can be installed on a Vista unit, and if so he would remove the format HTTP bug? It's all THE Microsoft, after all! On my PC with Windows 7 HP with complete Essentials, including Live Mail (for PC, to avoid confusion with the version online), I have not had any problems to Hotmail at work, send or receive. GMail also, no problem, the only thing I did NOT like about Live Mail is that it doesn't have the handy function "Sweep" that I love, I just go online to own things very quickly. With only Windows Mail (which I assume is supplied with Vista), it won't let me even try to set-up Hotmail/Outlook account. It's stupid, because like I said it's all EM!

    peace ~

Windows Mail is the e-mail that comes with client program and a part of Windows Vista. Windows Live Mail is a program available for free download; It is an e-mail client, the timing, the Manager contacts, aggregator and newsreader at a single feeding program.

Until a few years ago, it was possible to synchronize the Hotmail accounts with e-mail clients on Windows XP and Vista (Outlook Express and Windows Mail respectively) using WebDAV over HTTP protocol. This method has been deprecated after a long sequence of initialization in September 2009. Before that date, POP3 access has been made available for all Hotmail accounts. At any time it was not possible to access Hotmail email clients accounts. There is no bug involved here, nor in HTTP format or anything else.

Windows Live Mail is built to use a different former WebDAV protocol; DeltaSync protocol allows the synchronization of e-mail folders, contacts, and calendars between client and server.

You may be able to download the installer for Windows Live Mail 2011 of this page: How to install Windows Essentials while offline? Do not try to include Windows Live Writer or Messenger in the installation; None of them will work and you can gum up toward the top of the entire installation Essentials if you do. It may be better to stick to one mail at first. Windows Live Mail 2011 is the latest version which runs on Vista.

  • What are the current versions of Labview and Teststand

    Hello

I currently am downlading the current versions of teststand and labview for evaluation.

The Teststand-link I saw that it is called "Teststand" 2012.

1 but there is no version information in the Labview download. Is also 2012 version?

2 is the two 32-bit-software things?

    3. After installing the evaluation-downloads - can they be activated with a key, or what I need to install again when the CDs arrive in my office?

    Thanks for help

    Thx for the links.

I am using Windows 7 64 bit - I'd rather then also Labview 64? (Links to download NOT only provides 32-bit for download)

There will be problems with my existing 8, 5 - screw Labview conversion to the new Labview2012?

    Thank you

You can have as many 32-bit and 64-bit installed.  Don't forget your target when you generate an exe file.  64-bit compiled programs can run on 64-bit computers.

You should have no problem upgrade your code of 8.5.
