  I'm working on an HTML Help system that uses a standard theme template and style sheet. I use a style called 'Normal' for most of the text. The police is currently being Verdana, Regular, size Small, which is very nice for my old eyes. However, I notice that it is so great that the fonts used in other online help systems (for example, online help for RH6). I tried to move to the X-small size, but it is much too small. After a little experimentation, Verdana 11 points looks all right, at least on my screen. My question is this: what is the difference between the system of small-medium-large to measure fonts and the fonts measurement points system? Font sizes appear differently on different monitors of size and resolution? And is there a rule for what font size is the most readable? (I'm familiar with it for printing, not so much for online.)

  Thank you, Ben. I went on the website of W3C and got some good information. Sounds like it is preferable to use the xs, sm, m, l, xl font sizes, because users can automatically adjust these by selecting their "privileged" font size (in IE, select the size in the menu of the Page). Font style in pts not resize when the user changes its settings.

  I'm still not convinced that I have the right answer, though. There are so many variables to consider (size screen, resolution, type of browser, the browser settings) compared to the good old print WYSIWYG...

  In a page layout CSS freshly downloaded with header (twoColHybLtHdr or similar), there is a space of subject 20px from the bottom of the header area to the top of the box maincontent.   For this reason of space, when a bottom border is added to the header and a left edging maincontent, two lines don't intersect, which is what I want.  What controls this space so I can get rid of him?

  Add this to your CSS and it will consolidate the gaps for you.

  Then manually add some top of the margin, margin-bottom, padding and line-height to your different selectors: h1, h2, h3, p, ul, ol, li, li, etc...

  The length of the text is based on a variable "Pnom" (concatenation of first name and surname of a database) that is written and stacked in the lower part of the photo must be a single line.

  This is an example of 9 points as the default font size.

  Here are the conditions, I don't know how to do:

  1. If the number of characters is less than 40, then use fonts of 9 points;

  2. If the number of characters is 40 to 50, then use 8 point fonts.

• What controls the order of the types in the list of paette type

  TS2012

  I have a bunch of custom in my file of sequence types, and when I go to the range of types and look at the types associated with my file in sequence, they are in the 'disorder' which is not very useful for me - I would have preferred that they are in a specific order which groups them according to the category of tasks they do.   Basically, I want to be able to manaully specify the order of the types.  Worse still, as I modify some types, their order and after the editing changes they get inserted somewhere else in the middle of the list (not very useful).

  The sequence that the user interface of the editor does not provide a way to 'Capture' a type and drag around manually update the order, or be able to sort the headers of columns for the type palette.  (Heck - which would be too convenient here).

  So... try to reverse this engineer and get there myself.

  There seems to be 2 different pieces of possible orders of the information for the types that I can find.

  (1) order that they exist in the file in sequence if I save it in XML format and begin reading from the top down.

  (2) the specific type typelistordernum

  I have a case where, if I open the pallet type in the sequence editor, I see

  If I open the file in the sequence in the text editor, I see

  Typed (typelistordernum 49)

  TypeE (typelistordernum 50)

  TypeC (typelistordernum 51)

  The order in the movie file, or the order number of type list seems to dictate the order that they appear in the range of types of the sequence editor.

  I checked that each type in the example are ONLY used in this file a sequence - not shared in any other type of sequence pallets or files of type.

  If I write code to load the sequence file, obtain a reference to it, it cast to a propertyObjectFile and retrieve the TypeUsageList for this file, I get an ordered list that corresponds to the order of typelistordernum.  I can call the MoveType against this TypeUsageList method to reorder the items in the list type and save the file in the sequence.  The next time I open the file in the sequence, the tool retrieves the TypeUsageList for the file of the sequence in question and the order and numbers are the same that I saved the last time, but the order types as seen from the range of types of Sequence Editor is no different (my sorting tool did not help to this point of view).

  All the suggestions here about what is happening, and how can I do feel how the order types is displayed in the palette of type sequence editor, and what I can do to get my types of "sort" I like.

  (1) Yes, you can reorganize the types according to the type via drag and drop. At least since the 2012 version of TS this works reliably.

  (2) the typelistordernum defines the order types are displayed in the view of types.

  (3) you can sort the columns in the view types.

  Maybe you accidentally sorted one of the columns in the view of types and the sequence editor is forgetting that for what you see is actually the order sorted, based on one of the columns.

  I'm sure that drag - move is disabled when you have a sort column so this explains very well what you see. Check your headers to sort for this point of view and make sure that you do not have up and down arrows.

• Have Wdws XP using Outlook Express. Recently had work on computer. All of a sudden all the old emails deleted coming on Inbox. (Over 2500) Back in early 2010. Electronic mail stops. What is the problem?

  Work done recently on my computer, and now all the old emails that I had deleted in early 2010 are coming into my Inbox, (over 2500). I guess it is the overload that stops at the email, so I can't receive new messages.

  Thases e-mails had been permanently deleted, supposedly. From which they come, and how can I fix it?

  You had a frame that says "leave a copy of messages on the server. There is another setting that says "remove when deleting server ', but it was not selected.

  Outlook Express knows the messages that he has already recovered, but this information is a lost if you, for example, recreate your e-mail account. Then all messages go down again if they were left on the server.

  If the extraction has ceased, it might be because...

  one) you forced by cancellation or may be disconnected from the internet (in which case there are more to come), or

  (b) he finished, in which case old emails cannot be retrieved again (unless you are replicating what just happened), all mail must be picked up

  A data file contains several extensions. A measure is made up of several blocks. It would be silly to Oracle to keep a register in dba_extents/dba_free_space for each block. A line from dba_extents/dba_free_space represents a group of blocks from BLOCK_ID and extending to BLOCK_ID + BLOCKS-1. (The line also follows the number of blocks (column) to the extent because you can have different sizes in a tablespace extensions - for example if the allocation is MANUAL or AUTOALLOCATE).

  That's why, for example,
  If a data file of 1000 blocks consists of two degrees and a free space (representing, say, a table that has been created but has been abandoned) it could be
  file 25: measure 1: used for table A: from block 64, or 8 blocks (8 KB): FILE_ID = 25, BLOCK_ID = 64 BLOCKS = 8
  file 25: measure 2: OPEN SPACE: from block 72, 896 blocks (8 KB each):-would be seen in DBA_FREE_SPACE, not in DBA_EXTENTS.
  file 25: measure 3: used for table B: from 968 to 32 blocks block (8 KB each): FILE_ID = 25, BLOCK_ID = 968, BLOCKS = 32

  So, say, block number 102 in this data file (25) is actually in the OPEN SPACE and will not appear in a query DBA_EXTENTS
  However, say, block 980 is corrupt. It seems able to 3 when you query for 980 between 968 and 968 + 32 - 1

• Hi people. IM new here. Need to accelerate a clarification on the table!

  We have a scheme of production with 200 ~ tables in my body and I feel the performance of important queries in reports can be increased up to with the approach below.

  Current settings - movement of the line is disabled for all tables.

  What I can,

  (1) to activate the movement of the line with "change the movement line of table_name enable;" ~ This allows the rows in the table to move dynamically remove the unused blocks.

  (2) remove the unused blocks with "alter table table_name retractable space;"

  (3) turn off the movement of the line with "modify the movement table table_name disable;"line ~ this will stop allowing the lines in the table move dynamically.

  If I do, I get free unused blocks or removed making the table to perform at least a little more fast?

  Will there be an impact elsewhere?

  PS - It was never tried before by someone else in our scheme of production.
