D6400 firmware through engineering 1.0.1.22?

After having some problems with my sporadic reboot D6400 (about once every 2-3 weeks), I did a factory reset.

I put in place through the web page interface and all is well. At one point he checked for firmware updates and found none (current being 1.0.0.44).

Then, I used the software engineering to enable parental control and noticed that this application has said there was an update of firmware for 1.0.1.22.

I cannot find any mention of this anywhere! Is this a bug in the application of Engineering (Mac) or signs of a new version soon to arrive?

Not sure where the bug lies, but I see the same thing in the Windows engineering.

This software package is provided with the D6400. There has been several since then.

You have later. Ignore this misleading message.

The 1.0.0.44 is not so old, January of this year, so I expect a little, if ever.

    Hello

I used a Sansa Fuze since May this year, and so far I'm happy with it. If it were not for the updates of the firmware works do not somehow. OK, so I got another idea just half an hour ago and plugged in my drive. My computer would easily display the files it contains, without having to resort to tricks like the one described in my previous post above. I thought that since I read that the "rocket" is a bit picky about the format of the tags, I look to those of mp3tag. I went and spent all the tags to ID3v2.3 (iso-8859-1, how backward ), delete all the comments in the files and also adjusted the number of tag to include leading zeros instead of the format "1/n. Indeed, my drive didn't have the hiccups more after the reboot. Files that were previously listed as 'Unknown' is classified in their good artist and album and probably all of the tags appear in the correct order. Yay!

  • WRT54G v1.0 Firmware upgrade

I'm trying to update the firmware for a WRT54G v1.0 (I think, it doesn't have a version # on the sticker).  I downloaded the firmware (through a google cache to the linksys support page cuz link is down).  I have unziped the file. I did a hard reset (60.60.60).  Then I connected to my router (admin pass so I don't know the reset worked) went to "system > Firmware update > Upgrade" opened the dialog box.  Then I bowsed to the .bin file found he opened it and clicked on 'Upgrade'... nothing has happened... waited... still nothing, no progress bar, nothing, nada, neah... whats up?

I can still access the router as usual and ect is just the dialog box upgrade that seems broken.

    So, any ideas?

  • HP Envy 114 and Firmware update

    Hi all

I just got my 114 desire and it was very easy to install, it works.

Everything works great and it connects to the internet (wifi) very well.

The only problem I have is when I try to check the update of the firmware through the screen touchscreen printer I got the following error message (there is an English translation of Italian language):

No link available. The printer is not connected to the network.

It's strange, because the printer is actually connected to the Internet and I can use ePrint, eFax etc... no problem

    Any idea?

    Thank you!!

I solved it in the meantime.

From the front panel of the printer, I erased all the web settings and services.

Then I ran the installer again... and this time I can check the update without problem.

    Thanks for the help!

    See you soon

  • Problem with updating the firmware/kernel of 4305G

    Hi forum,

I searched this forum for similar cases, but can't find an answer.

I have firmware and the kernel update files for the DPM G 4305 (5.2.0_FCS_4305.fwimg & DMPkernel_A2_4305.tivella) and tried all means known to me to upgrade the DMP, but without success.

    We have DMS 5.2. I tried the upgrade through the DMM, / * Style Definitions * / table. MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name : « Table Normal » ; mso-tstyle-rowband-taille : 0 ; mso-tstyle-colband-taille : 0 ; mso-style-noshow:yes ; mso-style-priorité : 99 ; mso-style-qformat:yes ; mso-style-parent : » « ;" mso-rembourrage-alt : 0 cm 5.4pt cm 0 5.4pt ; mso-para-margin : 0 cm ; mso-para-marge-bottom : .0001pt ; mso-pagination : widow-orphelin ; police-taille : 11.0pt ; famille de police : « Calibri », « sans-serif » ; mso-ascii-font-family : Calibri ; mso-ascii-theme-font : minor-latin ; mso-fareast-font-family : « Times New Roman » ; mso-fareast-theme-font : minor-fareast ; mso-hansi-font-family : Calibri ; mso-hansi-theme-font : minor-latin ; mso-bidi-font-family : « Times New Roman » ; mso-bidi-theme-font : minor-bidi ;} DMM - DSM and even with the IIS web server that I found as upgrade on this forum, but still no joy.

To be more specific, try with IIS web server, I downloaded the file in the root folder and used this example below:

(http://10.10.10.2:7777 / set_param? mng.command = start + upgrade + kernel + http://10.10.10.10/DMPkernel_A1_4300.tivella) I've only had a window to enter the username and password of the DMP and then nothing happens.

I double that the DPM has the IP address of the DMM to centralized management, DMM - DSM server time-out set at 300 dry, DPM Web account as well as the user/pass in DMM, DPM Service account same user/pass and also active FTP.

The strange thing is that in DMM, it shows G 4305 such that registered for a while, but after awhile it registers outside, and the status changes to red X. During this brief period, I tired to upgrade the DMP in the Action drop-down list menu, although he did nothing.

I know kernel must be applied first, then the firmware. For the sake of the argument, I improved the 4400 G firmware through the digital multimeter with no problems at all.

    The name of the exact model is: DMP - 4305G - 5.1 - K9

If you need me to download and/or add additional info to this question, don't tell.

Any input will be greatly appreciated!

    Maxim

    OK, I tested a DMP - 4305G here who was 5.0.

I upgraded to first 5.0 to 5.1.  The upgrade was successful.

Then, I upgraded to 5.1 to 5.2.  The upgrade was successful.

The internet light will change from white to orange and I have no internet access through the router. This has happened 3 times.
1 twice I had to do a hard reset if the hole in the back of the router, enter my settings again and it worked fine for a few days.
The last time, that did not work.
I usurped the computers MAC address as support Netgear says, still no go.
Through engineering steps in shooting penalty and entered the MAC address of the router manually, box and now it works again?
Something is wrong with this router. I don't want to keep doing this.
I have V1.0.3.60_1.1.27 firmware, but he did it with an earlier version.
    Any suggestions?

The amber light thing came back 3 hours ago. This time I had to take the router completely out of the loop, do a hard reset, it let it harden for an hour to get it going again.
I bought the Dell R7000 using a couple of their discount coupons, over 6 months ago.so called to get a good number of replacement and warranty Netgear.
Much to my surprise, even though it was past their normal 30-day replacement period, they'll send me a new R7000 early next week.
I really like this router as I get on the shop the 2.4, 5.0 and bands AC, I thought possible, but this amber light thing gets very frustrating.

ATTENTION: This is my first endeavor material addition Introduction experimental set-up in Introduction to the laboratory of engineering computer science and make a cable crossed in Introduction to networking laboratory.

    Computer type: 10:00

I am trying to install a secondary drive. It is an essential M550 2.5 inch SSD. I'm looking inside the box for the second disc, I see (1) power cord with two plugs and (2) a cord with a plug of SATA data transfer.

    (1) a CAP is currently hung in the main HARD drive. The other is not plugged, but use very close to the second drive Bay which is - I guess - is available for the secondary drive.

    (2) the CAP is currently hanging in the main HARD drive.

Therefore, I am confused. I'm blind and lack a second plug for the SATA cord to go to the SSD data transfer? Data transfer on the power supply cord is like a cable POE? Do I need to buy a cable to connect to a place for the SSD? All the guides basically say, ' insert the disc, disk, put on the bevel, put the cover, model in turn computer connects, launch the installation of the firmware through windows, "which is not useful when it seems that I'm missing a data transfer cable.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

  • Designjet T120: Can't trace file size D (T120)-specific PDF drawing

    Hi all

Having problems trying to draw a PDF specific drawing D-size (SolidWorks saves) on our plotter T120.  It plots just fine in the sizes A, B and C, but when I try D, it just hangs, then times out with an error.  I tried to update drivers, run the HP diagnostic utility, run the utility from Microsoft, etc. but nothing seems to work.  I traced several other designs in the past in D format without any problem (tried a while ago with a different design of PDF and it worked fine).  Looking for ideas...

  • N600 Time Warner issue

    Hello!

I bought and used my N600 with Comcast year last year in Chicago, with no problems. I moved to Dallas yesterday and tried to get my internet set in place. Hooked upward, called Time Warner (TWC) to give them the MAC address, but we couldn't work (even if Netgear and TWC claim only he I compatible). They say they can see that everything is active and seems perfect for their purpose, we tried factory reset the router, but can't make it work. They want to send me one of their modems/routers. I can connect to the router via an Ethernet cable and wifi, but when I try to access the Internet, nothing comes through. Looked at the router site, through engineering, but couldn't understand how to operate. Any advice?

We had previously tried to do a factory reset, but that did not work.

But I have an update - the Time Warner Cable modem/router came, I plugged it called TWC, they turned on, I was able to connect to internet, I plugged the N600 and then asked them to check the MAC address, it took a few minutes but started working.

Maybe it was a question of MAC address, but I think that there is something that they have turned on their end.

    Thanks for your help!

  • New E260v2 will not charge.

I just opened the box, plugged in the charger to the unit and he jumped into a USB key and left for 4 hours. As I watched the ressemblee battery bar he was charging for 5 minutes then turned to white.

Four hours later, I unplugged the unit and received a warning of low power and stops. I thought that it was not in all the way in so I made sure the connection was tight and left for 3 hours. Come back later to see the same result. I'm doing something wrong, or I got lucky with a lemon?

If it's a new v2, the device may be trying to connect USB MTP.  If it doesn't happen, it's going to get distracted from load.

To resolve this issue, open a window of Windows Explorer on your PC by pressing [Windows key] + E, or go to my computer.

With the window open, slide the HOLD switch on the e260 right (orange will broadcast).  I'm sure your Sansa is OFF at this point; If not, press and hold the menu / button power for 15 seconds, then release.

    Press and hold the< button="" down="" while="" plugging="" in="" to="" the="" usb="" port. ="" don't="" release="" the="" button="" until="" the="" sansa="" says="" "connected"="" and="" it="" pops="" up="" in="" the="" windows="" explorer="">

If all goes well, you will see the Sansa as two flash, listed under devices with removable storagedrives.

We have an MSC connection at this stage, and the Sansa should be load: look for a wheelchair battery icon and a small Flash.

Let the Sansa load for a few hours, if you see the lightning bolt.

Once the battery is charged, you can unplug it and see if the unit remains powered.  Be SURE to slide the HOLD / LOCK switch to the left, or it will say "system shutdown".

Turn on your new Sansa and try to browse.  Select some of the sample songs and see how it plays.

The next step is simple: go to settings > Info and read the first listed line.  You will need to update to firmware version 03.01.16, as long as the list of existing firmware starts with a 03.  So, what does say?  If your firmware is 03.01.11, you most certainly need to update, because these devices lack the option of USB mode in the settings menu.

IF you have a later version, you can check the USB setting by going to settings > USB Mode > Auto Detect / MTP / MSC.

The next step will be to establish a MTP connection if you plan to use your Sansa with any files with DRM, such as Rhapsody, Napster, Audible, Overdrive, etc..  If you have multimedia not protected in your plans, all you need to do is update your firmware through this thread.

You have just learned how to connect your Sansa MSC mode manually, which allows the update.  Close the player, slide the HOLD switch and plug everything in now the<>

The reason most likely that your device was not the plug-in initial has been a break in the pipeline of the PSG.  Media Transfer Protocol is the method of default login of a whole new e260v2, if she older firmware.

A few words about the PSG: Microsoft protocol requires a minimum of Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10 (WiMP11 is better).  Otherwise, after the passage in MSC mode, you can run your Sansa very well!

Let us know if the problem is an interruption of the connection of the PSG.  We can then go that route.

    Hi all

I just plugged my e3000 and had all set up but when I tried to plug in my external 320 Toshiba HD to the usb port on the router, I get a series of flashing lights on the router and my wireles network almost immediately goes down. I checked the Admin tab on the router configuration page and I can confirm that upnp is "enabled."

I called customer service and they have suggested that there is a hardware problem with the router itself since normally all drive hard usb should work fine when it is plugged. Before going through the process of taking the router back, can someone confirm that this is a hardware problem? Customer support just told me what was in their manual and most of the time I'm okay with that, but I want to just make sure there isn't some other causing an incompatibility or setting that I should check if it works. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • Message from DynDNS WRT120N abuse

Hi there, I'm having some difficulties with my Linksys WRT120N.

I have a dyndns account and as configured in the DDNS section.

I didn't install local DynDNS client, only the Linksys router should update the dynamic ip address.

The first day, everything worked fine: the investigation period has been updated (manually, say 3 to 4 times and maybe the router itself did - I do not know he has done many times).

Now DynDNS sent me an email indicating that I have abused their service... (for the record: the url still works fine...)

The DDNS tab says that DynDNS recorded the abuse.

We never saw it? Should I update firmware (currently v 1.0.01 - default)?

The router updates the IP regularly (as in: with standard intervals)? Or only when ip address changes?

I just put on the newspaper...

    Thank you!

I think that the router updates the IP address on a regular basis with standard intervals.

You can try to update / re-flashing the firmware on your router.

Connect to the computer with the Ethernet cable to the router.
Download the latest firmware from the site Web of Linksys and save it to your computer. Open the router configuration page. Click the Administration tab and switch to the sub tab upgrade the Firmware through the firmware file that you have already downloaded and update on your router.
After upgrading the firmware on the router, it is recommended that you must reset the router and reconfigure. Press and hold the reset button on the router for 30 seconds. Release the reset button and wait 30 seconds. Power cycle the router and reconfigure.
