The effect seems as if the lens is "breathing", the lens is literally expansion and contraction, although I think that the term may have a slightly different meaning than what I feel. I'm not moving the lens or affect the camera at all. Automatic update is turned off, and I'm not zoom, so there should be no movement of the camera. This is the result of some kind of image stabilization that turned bad? Or is there some other glitch techinical it might be?

  What lens did you use? And if there IS do you go out? Most of the lenses with IS should be turned off when it is used with a tripod so if she didn't IS & it's on I suspect it's the other problem (respiration).
