What is Firefox 64-bit authentic?

I just download a 64-bit version of Firefox www.windows7download.com. Is it authentic?

Mozilla does not have an official version of Firefox for Windows 64-bit. There are development versions used for the test, but they are not intended for general use. Versions of 64-bit development have not been fully optimized and currently the 32-bit versions may provide better performance. I recommend not using a version of Firefox for a 3rd site part and instead only download from Mozilla.

  • Can (you must) use Java 64 bit with Firefox 32 bit?

    I have Firefox 32 bit & 32-bit Java and Flash Player 32-bit, but there are 64-bit versions. I'm under win 8.1 with all the latest updates installed (except internet exlorer for which I ignore updates).

    You need Plugins 32-bit with 32-bit Firefox just as you need the 64-bit with 64-bit Firefox Plugins.

    There is no Firefox Win64 for release yet however the Win64 on beta channel is finally being supported from Firefox 38.0 b # so does that mean 38.0 Firefox can be probably earlier for a Win64 version.

  • Firefox 64 bit for Linux for VPN

    I'm tryin Juniper Networks VPN up and running. Their support page: http://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content & id = KB25230

    They say:
    To start the network connect on 64-bit Linux, you must have 64-bit browser Mozilla Firefox with Java plug-in already configured. You can use the Oracle and OpenJDK JRE. If you installed the JRE OpenJDK, IcedTea-plugin Web (Java plug-in) should be 1.2 or higher.

    I'm under LinuxMint 17. Where can I download Firefox 64-bit from this?

    Thank you

    If you have a 64-bit Linux mint installation already and that you have installed Firefox from the default repository, you have a 64-bit version of Firefox are installed. This is supported by your User Agent string. So you should be fine.

  • Firefox 64-bit for Windows

    Y at - it no hope to get Firefox 64-bit for windows soon?
    My problem is Firefox + JDK/netbeans-bundle on 64-bit Windows 8.
    Everything else can be 64-bit, but Firefox. If Firefox wants JRE 32 bit for normal navigation, but 64-bit JDK installation replaces it with 64 bit that does not work on Firefox.

    Installation of JDK/NB-bundle 32 bit on 64 bit Win8.1 crashes.

    So it's a JDK/NB or Java compatible Firefox, but not both?
    Or y at - it a simple way to tell Firefox to look at another directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_20) when the other SW is looking in the default directory (C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_20)?)

    I know that the problem has three parts: Microsoft, Oracle and Mozilla, but Mozilla seems to be one with no option (64-bit) "in progress."

  • What versions of 32-bit window based on HP G62-144DX laptop

    Hi all

    I bought the new computer hp laptop g62 and OS is win7 64 bit and RAM is 4 GB.

    I want to change to 64 bit to 32 bit OS, because an application cannot install to there. for example: I can not install the oracle 10g database.

    What version of 32-bit windows support on HP G62-144DX laptop?

    I try install win xp 32-bit, but some occued to error when I did install using boot DVD (blue screen!).

    Also I can't win xp 32-bit version could support 4 GB of RAM.

    Hello

    Mr President, Oracle 10 g does not support Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)...

    You must get the works of Oracle 11 g on Windows 7 64-bit and 32-bit... (or any newer version of Oracle)

    If you have Windows Home Premium 64-bit, you can fresh install Windows Home Premium 32 bit & use the product key at the bottom of your laptop computer to activate Windows 7 using automated phone support...

    Windows 7 32 bit can be installed if the size of the RAM is more than 3 GB, but it will be 3.2 GB use only...

    with respect,

  • What are firefox web ide and that's why all of a sudden that prevents me from working

    all of a sudden this morning, when I press the SHIFT key, a window opens which, when I expand it, it's firefox web ide. What white is, and why it rises. I am a simple user, not a developer and have no interest or need for developer tools. I can't make it disappear or turn it off. I finally get off I could enter my email by selecting my email address in a drop of water down - can't hit this symbol without the shift key--and put in my password limits by turning off caps lock key. But what makes firefox worse than useless.

    I guess this is related to the update firefox automatically downloaded yesterday or that it is some sort of virus, well I'm very careful about virus protection.

    I have used firefox for years and, so far, that is fine, but it's hopeless and, if I can't solve this report without delay, will be totally useless firefox for what it is.

    Thanks for the quick reply (happy to see the capital T at the beginning of this sentence). I never typed the F8 key (I almost never use the function keys, I am a developer/leader of old digital equipment and from time to time, for old times sake, open a DOS window and rename files using RENAME it order... i. e, a dinosaur) so there is no reason why it should have been stuck. The problem seems to occur when / whenever I used the key.

    But, for other reasons, I restarted my computer and the problem disappeared.

    As I see no reason why a reboot would have affected the behavior of Firefox, I don't see why this has helped. But I don't have a horse in the mouth, all happy with the result.

    Should it happen again, I will review and implement response info.

    In any case, thanks for your answer quick, complete and understandable.

  • WHAT IS FIREFOX WILL WORK ON A 64-BIT COMPUTER

    Yes, it works very well.

  • Layout broken on Firefox 64-bit 30

    After the upgrade to Firefox 30, one of my sites is not rendered correctly.

    I run two sites almost identical dotnetnuke (http://www.drawingworkshop.com/ , http://arthouse.tc/arthouse/ ) with the same host. Drawingworkshop.com will properly render in Firefox 30 on Vista 64-bit, but arthouse.tc is OK. Try to track down the problem, I called the host (godaddy), and the guy that I talked to was able to see the problem on his browser. I don't know what system he was using.
    It looks like a problem of style sheet, so I installed the arthouse.tc style sheet in the site of drawingworkshop and still no go.
    The site works fine in IE, Chrome, Safari, and on my android phone.
    Many of my visitors use Firefox, so I need to find a Web site solution that will allow them to view the site properly.
    Thank you.

    The console has been useful and interesting; Thank you. I've identified the problem as Firefox 30 added 40 pixels or more space above the ads, pushing the rest of layout of page around, very well highlighted in the case of drawingworkshop.com. I did a lot of troubleshooting and found the culprit:

    1. dnn_TopBanners a {}

    margin-left: 1px;
    margin-right: 1px;
    margin-top: 0px;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    }

    I put this in the original stylesheet to correct an inconsistency in which an Explorer of the rendering of the banner does not match "others. I have reset the margins and filling and it seems fine now.
    Obviously the anchor tags have been putting pressure on the content of the ads and causing it to jump a line in the link. There was a lot of width in the div topbanner for ads; It may be that Firefox 30 could not stretch the link to accommodate a margin.
    Thanks for the help!

  • Whitelist Google Earth Plugin for FireFox 64-bit?

    Would it not possible to whitelist, this plugin for 64 - bit as has been done for silverlight?

    Hi berwyn, mozilla won't because the plan published (as do other browser vendors as well) is completely remove support for the npapi and move the web content plugin. the win64 version already takes this kind of slate.

    Hi, versions of firefox on windows 64 bit does support flash as npapi plugin. If you want to use other plugins so you must continue to use the regular 32 bit versions. This is normal, as mozilla wants to take a clean slate for plugins on win 64 bit apparently: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/win64/meetingarchive#Clean_Slate_Approach
