  You want something that requires a version of the ODBC driver prior to version 8.0.5.2.0 of support? This would imply that you are trying to connect to something like an Oracle 6 database...

  Try to download and install updates to CS5.  Everything seemed normal, got the progress bars to download and install updates.  Then the end message that the update could not be installed because there was an error downloading the update. What happened several times. Just finished a clean install of the OS (Win 8.1) and CS5. Displays the Update Manager, created the required records. A subfolder for each of the CS5 applications created in the AAMupdater folder.  Each of the applications was a subfolder, but contained only an XML file.

  I've been a user of Firefox beta for awhile, so I thought I should also use the beta version of Flash Player, as some people recommend. That's how I got to the download page of the beta, and I see there is another choice to download not counting as common Setup: a 'stand-alone'. I know several meanings of that word in the context of the software, but I don't know what to do in this case.

  Can someone help me understand? I don't mind an answer more technical (I'm an amateur programmer), so there is absolutely no need to explain too much.

  The "autonomous" Flash Player download is just that - the standalone version of Flash Player that runs outside of a browser, as opposed to the version browser plugin that runs in a browser.

  Launch the standalone player, and it opens a window which looks a bit like a browser itself.  You can open SWF files with the standalone player, and while it will show most the same as the le plugin plugin browser content, be aware that certain content depending on the browser for loading / security / external interface.

  I LOVE iMovie 6 (iMovie HD) and iDVD.  I was use to edit and produce my own films at home for years.  I like to create DVDs from pleasure and share with my family and my friends.

  The problem is that it seems that the days of DVD are numbered...  New computers come with a DVD player, and most people do not use their DVD players a lot more thanks to streaming services such as NetFlix, Hulu, Amazon, etc...

  So my question is this: a DVD player will soon be like old VCRs that some of us still have?  Large boxes, collector of dust, but we can not totally get rid of them because we have a few VHS tapes favorite that we "might" want to play some time?

  If DVD and DVD players disappear...  What will I do with my movies at home?

  I understand that I could post them on YouTube, but this seems crazy, because I have a lot of home movies!  In addition, I really like the features of a DVD as chapters and be able to create a DVD with several individual films on it.

  What I would REALLY like is to be able to create a "DVD", but store it in a flash drive and then a program or something that allows you to my friends and family get the flash drive on their smart TV (or computers) and allow them to access the 'DVD' as if there were a real DVD with all the options of origin that would be available on a disc.

  Someone you understand what I mean?  And if yes, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for the future of the movies at home after the death of DVD have?

  To burn a DVD with the latest version of iMovie's iDVD, you must export the movie using the export button and select 480 p as the size. Open iDVD and start a new project, and then drag this file in the sequence exported to iDVD menu window, avoiding the drop areas that see you.

  I have a 'plan' that I am currently building a test at the beginning. My "plan" consists of 3 levels of the Organization; the unit, the Group and the arrangement.

  There are a few types of units that I intend to create, but I'm looking for only a few basic methods; I can shake the details in regards to specific controls, resizing, positioning, etc.

  There is only a single arrangement; the arrangement is the entire floor plan.

  Each unit is composed of some Boolean LEDs, progress bars, graphs of waveform and digital indicators.

  Each group is simply an arrangement of units; with an indicator of string as a label.

  The arrangement (floorplan itself) is just an arrangement of groups.

  I considered simply create typedefs for each control so that I can change or resize each if necessary control and have the changes automatically cascading, but is there a way for me to create a typedef for each unit, although it contains several controls? Within the unit, all controls will have a size and position, so it would be nice to be able to resize and rearrange the controls in the unit and have all these changes cascade to all units. It would also avoid having to define the positions of each control for each unit (I could just define the position of each unit).

  I've attached a screenshot of the arrangement (floorplan) .jpg because it currently displays. You can see that inside, there are 8 groups (labeled SX #) and 4 groups of different type (labelled RC #). Within each group, SX, there are 3 units (with a color box gray placeholder where a 4th unit could display).

  I'm building a VI that must update several controls/indicators in several points throughout its execution. It must also be able to accept the new values of the controls at any time.

  The problem is that all these controls and indicators on the face before of the VI another who called my VI. The current version of my program updates all these controls and indicators using references and property nodes (each indicator/control to be used has its own reference on my VI control, and these references are then sent to nodes of property), which makes it naturally slow.

  At the moment I plan to rebuild my VI so that the principal is able to recover data without the help of the references, but it is not only a lot of time but also difficult and impossible without my code turning into a massive pile of disorganized (especially since the lab computer is quite slow and the main big enough VI that by pressing the button "clean/re-organize block" causes a crash).

  Alternatives to this? Queues?
