What is the chip attached to the lid back to?

Recently, I broke down my back. I bought a replacement official Amazon search and followed by a YouTube video of disassembly to replace.

Once I removed the original back cover I found a print/chip circuit board glued to it is inside the surface. It has 2 brass connectors that connect with 2 metal anchor just above the antenna on the main motherboard.

My new back cover is not that chip, although so far, everything seems to work as usual.
Does anyone know what is this chip?

NFC, or near field communication, it is used to synchronize the devices that both have NFC and it allows files to be sent as contacts, etc.

  • HP Elitebook 8560w: screen using my 8560w with the lid closed and external

    Hello

I connected my 8560w to an external monitor via an advanced docking station.  My monitor allows me to switch between two sources.

I intend my set-up for my future office and virtually all that my activity will be on the 8560w and the monitor.

Can I run the 8560w for a long time with its lid closed without risk?  I was in Control Panel/power/choice what closing the lid does and all sleep on battery and nothing power are.

Is there a heat problem? Or other side effects?

    Thanks, Russ

It should not be unwanted problems to run for a while with the lid closed.

  • Speakers satellite Z830 - 10 M is turned off when the lid is closed

    Hello

I'm running a Z830 - 10 M with an external monitor. I want to close the lid of the portable computer, but use the internal speakers, but when I close the lid, the speakers will cease to resound!

    How can I fix it?

    Thank you.

I guess that your laptop goes into mode standby when the lid is closed.
    Right?

In this case, you must set the option to choose what closing the lid does nothing to

This can be found in the control panel-> Power Options-> in the left column

  • Satellite A30: What kind of chip is the Bios

    Hey all!
I have an A30 equipped with a BIOS of bricks.

My Question: It has a jumper for activating BootBlock, or a combination of keys.

My screen stays black and common combinations do not work.
Another Question: what kind of chip is the bios of my laptop?

    Thanks for the replies!

HEEE? What kind of chip is the Bios?

This question confuses me a bit!

The BIOS is stored on the ROM module and as I remember the A30 series supports Phoenix BIOS.

  • What is the purpose of the function Array Index in the example attached?

    Hello

I'm fighting with the Array Index function. I found the attached VI on the OR site which was exactly what I wanted to do, but rather than simply accept that it works and use it, I wanted to understand.

What is the purpose of the function Index of table inside the while loop? If I put a probe on part and on the other, the values are the same, but if I remove the service and connect directly to the > function, I get an error.

I do not understand the tables but I don't understand what is happening here. Any help would be appreciated gratefully.

    Thanks in advance.

It is just picking the first reading of the table in the waveform.  If it's good enough (I'd take at least the average of N samples), why not cela?

    Thank you!

You can refer to the actual appearance of the playhead with medium zoom. At a normal zoom size, you would not see normally the small bar that juts forward forward the playback head. The playhead appears in this way because it shows exactly one frame at a time. At this zoom level, you can see that it is a single image quite accurately.

Hello, if this is the device that with windows xp sp3, I don't see a reason why the latest version of firefox (firefox at the moment 27) would not run on this subject: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/27.0/system-requirements/

If you access t460s, is easy to determine by running the test utility system or memory such as CPU - Z.

  • What does the power button and closing of the lid

When trying to choose what pressing the power button or closing the cover made my option is locked on the 'sleep', I can't choose anything else, is there something missing in windows or do I have to install something to make it work?

You must disable the utility Samsung "Fast start".  It handles some of your power for you options [there is no problem with the neutralization of him because it doesn't do anything for you that you can't do it yourself].

Note: a user said earlier that "Fast start" had been renamed, then you might need check the correct name in your manual or by research in Samsung records in all programs.

  • What is the best way to create a line with triangles at each end, as in a timeline? (See attached example).

    Timeline.JPG

Sorry for the low resolution. I would like to create a line with a triangle at each end, similar to the one illustrated. What is the best way to achieve this using InDesign? I will create three or four and we will add the month abbreviations for years.

I'd probably use the online tool to create the line. You can hold the SHIFT key to make the straight line. For triangles, you can either use the polygon tool (shift click to set the number of sides) or you can create a square with the rectangle tool (hold down the SHIFT key while dragging to make a square) and use the pen tool to remove a corner of the shape, creating a triangle. I generally prefer the polygon tool.

  • Where can I find the lid actuator switch?

I have a laptop Compaq Presario CQ61-222SA and looking through assistance HP leads me to believe that the lid actuator switch is defective.

During the startup process, the screen is very dark and barely readable. There is dim when it reaches the Windows desktop, but everything else seems to work fine (sound etc.).  Compaq support site says that probable cause is the switch actuator cover that think the laptop, the lid is closed and so goes into power save mode the screen darkening.

When connecting to an external monitor, the screen of the laptop goes to his habit, light for a few seconds then fades again - the external screen works perfectly, but I have a laptop to use it where I want, do not be stuck in the office where my monitor is sitting!  The few seconds of normal screen brightness makes me think that it is not a problem with the backlight.

Looking at the forums it seems to be a fairly common problem with HP laptops, but nobody seems to find where is the lid actuator switch.  What is an internal switch that I can't find one outside?

I ended up dismantling the lap top and found that a small rectangular magnet was detached from his participation in the entourage of the plastic screen.  The magnet must be placed in a location just below where the "compaq" logo is printed (but inside, so out of sight until what you take apart the computer).  The magnet had attached to a piece of advice which I assume is the actuator switch, then thought laptop that the lid has been closed permanantly.  Once removed and pasted (and just pasted in cases) back in its slot everything has worked.

Hope it will be useful to others.

  • What is the best way to run multiple instances of the class containing infinite while loop?

    Hello

I have a several instances of the class (say a, b, c,...) that have the same parent and I want to run the same methods overridden to all instances in parallel.

    For example:

    a.init ()-> a.run ()-> a.stop ()-> a.run ()-> a.stop ()->

    b.init ()-> b.run ()-> b.stop ()->->->

    c.init() ->           ->             -> c.run() ->               -> c.stop()

    ...

See the attachment for more details.

    The problems are now:

    1. the 'run' - method does not return until it receives the external trigger

    2. everything to run methods return in a different time

1 chip means I can't use autoindexed for loop because in this case b.run () will have to wait before the end of a.run (), right? Is it possible to run to the loop in parallel?

2 chip means that an object must be able to run and stop independently from others.

What is the most elegant solution? The solution copy - paste in the attachment works for 3 instances, but there are currently 10 and more is coming.

    Juha

In fact, what I wanted to know was "how to add the 'P' loop '... Easy, after you ask the right question.

In the attachment, there is a test.vi that has two numerical indicators in a certain time-infinite loops. If I leave the parallelism, the two digital are incremented infinitely. If I don't allow parallelism, only the first is incremented (he never leaves the infinite while loop).

To solve my original problem, I can make an init-start-stop branch within a loop-parallel-indexing for and make sure that there are the same number of instances of loop as there are objects in my array of objects (object array is an autoindexed in the loop for).

Also good point about the vis environment. I should also add that.
