Generally, the value overrides what not.  they were once as necessary to manage the chapter plays, but not because there isn't "chapter playlists." And if you don't know what you're doing, they can get you into trouble.

A substitution changes the end action that would occur without the substitution. For example, if a timeline has an end action to go to the 2 timeline and the button that calls if a substitution in the 'main menu', using this button to call the timeline will result in the timline ending and in the main menu.

The "chronology of the hand" is a property only for the drive, and the default seems to be so he could be on the first timeline added to the project.

    Firefox 4 and 5 will not run on a Mac PPC; only on Intel. You can get the TenFourFox, which runs on a PPC.

    If the user grants permission for a site to exceed the quota of 50 MB IndexedDB, then as much as I know Firefox is no limit more. The only limits on the size of the IndexedDB database will be the disk space of the user and operating system.

    The quota of localStorage is 5000KB and there is no way for a web site asking the browser for permission to store more than that amount in localStorage.
