What is the file in which the AddressBook is located?

My computer crashed, but I have a carbonite backup. I'm guessing that somewhere in my backup it will reside a file containing my address very long book that would be otherwise lost. Where is it and can it be easily read and imported into my new installation of Thunderbird?

https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/Profiles-TB

Note that it is hidden by default, if you are unlikely to come across it in your file manager.

On a working system, help | Troubleshooting information will show you a button that opens your profile in your file manager. Of course, is not very useful when you are looking at it in a backup or a safe HARD drive.

  • What is the oldest version of the bridge which will create pdf files?

I have Photoshop CS2 and it came with the bridge, but I can't find the option to select a bunch of files and turn them into a single PDF.

I did it before, but in more recent versions. I had CS5 but have lost up to now had to get something cheap and got a free version of CS2.

However, bridge v1 does not seem to have this option.

Can someone advise and also tell me what is the oldest version of the bridge that will do?

    Thank you

    George

This is the output module in bridge that was intended to replace the presentation pdf from photoshop cs4.

Anyway, presentation pdf can do the same thing.

    Something like this:

(used the sample files to id cs2 for screenshots)

    1. Select your files in bridge and go to Tools > Photoshop > presentation PDF

    2. who will open photoshop cs2 with the presentation PDF with your listed files dialog box.

Under Output Options > save under, select the Document of several pages

    3. once the process is complete, go back to bridge and you should see the pdf

    4. open the PDF in a pdf reader you use, like adobe reader and the files should have been combined in a muti-page pdf.

Also, instead of using the bridge, you can use the open files in photoshop by going on file > Automate > presentation PDF and verification to add open files

The download starts with Firefox Setup 6.0.2.exe, but I still struggle with "setup" programs that seem to be of reasonable size (it is estimated that 45 minutes to download), but once launched, starts a download of ten hours.

    Yes, nothing else is necessary.

  • What is the file deleted the files in the main folder, and can / should I remove it?

What is the file deleted the files in the main folder, and can / should I remove it? Is it too much room, I could use?

This file stores a list of files from previous version of Firefox that are no longer needed or supported in the current version of Firefox. This file is only a few KB and it is best not to delete files in the Firefox program folder to avoid update problems. If the required files are missing or modified with a update Firefox will download the full version (approximately 10 MB) instead of a small incremental update which is usually only a few hundred KB.

  • What is the order of the removal of the songs to an iPod Classic syncing > somehow my laptop has started the process of synchronization without my knowledge and removed approximately 2,000 songs of my iPod classic.  How can I identify which were delete

What is the order of the removal of the songs to an iPod Classic syncing > somehow my laptop has started the process of synchronization without my knowledge and removed approximately 2,000 songs of my iPod classic.  How can I identify which were deleted songs?  I always manually move files to prevent this.  I'm on Windows 10.

Has no way to know that...

If your library iTunes music fits on the storage space of 160 GB of your iPod classic, you just set to automatically sync your entire library of music.  Then, it won't matter which has been removed and which do not get deleted, because your iPod music library is the same as your library iTunes music.  And iTunes it keeps this way, every time your iPod connection (or click sync , if already connected).

If you don't want "everything" in your iTunes library on your iPod (understandable), you can create a playlist in your iTunes library with all the songs you want on the iPod.  Then, set to automatically synchronize the playlist to iPod.  Instead of manually managing iPod, you manually manage playlist in your iTunes library.  The iPod has no need to be connected.  The next time you connect the iPod (or click sync , if already connected), iTunes will update the iPod with the same changes.  The big advantage is, if something happens like what you describe, or needs to restore iPod (erased) or even if break you your iPod (and get a new), need you a few mouse clicks to solve the problem.  Just set it up to sync the same playlist once again, which exists in your library iTunes (not only on the iPod).

You can post back for more information about how to use automatic synchronization to do what you want more easily, go ahead.

  • What is the best way to read this binary file?

I wrote a program that acquires data from a card DAQmx and he writes on a binary file (attached file and photo). The data I'm acquisition comes 2.5ms, 8-channel / s for at least 5 seconds. What is the best way to read this binary file, knowing that:

-I'll need it also on the graphic (after acquisition)

-J' I need also to see these values and use them later in Matlab.

I tried the 'chain of array to worksheet', but LabView goes out of memory (even if I don't use all 8 channels, but only 1).

    LabView 8.6

I think that access to data is just as fast, what happens to a TDMS file which is an index generated in the TDMS file that says 'the byte positions xxxx data written yyyy' which is the only overload for TDMS files as far as I know.

We never had issues with data storage. Data acquisition, analysis and storage with > 500 kech. / s, the questions you get are normally most of the time a result of bad programming styles.

Any ISO file name is just a name.  You can rename this one, for example, for "Windows Server 2008 Enterprise 32-bit Edition with SP2. ISO"and it means the same thing.

If you want more precisely say Microsoft ISOs - well, can extrapolate you from the example?  ;-)

My question is that why Microsoft name an iso file in different ways? And what is the meaning.

x86_DC_EE_SE_X15-41045"?I have heard that the former can be downloaded from MSDN subscribtion and the latter is distributed in VOL channel.

Why name a file ISO in different ways?  It's a different ISO file.  Don't forget: an ISO file is simply an image of a CD or DVD.

Also - if you are the one doing the download from a legitimate source, you KNOW what you get no abridged way plain before arriving anyway. by the description.

In any case – why reinvent the wheel:
    http://www.betaarchive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26026

The short of it: it is usually the name of the product in there, the architecture (32-bit or 64-bit), the language (like the comparison you wanted, is a simplified Chinese and other English, because there is no moniker language) and the product part number (which is something useful only to resellers and Microsoft in many ways).

If you don't mind me asking, what is curiosity behind the naming scheme?

Files such that you listed are known to the Windows operating system files - I advise until you know still don't not to tamper with them.

Folder in which you made to locate these files in?  Is there an extension at the end of the file name?  Example: .dll, .sys, .ini

    What is e717295f-174-46de-ae61?

e717295f-174-46de-ae61 truly is a process belonging to Microsoft Windows Operating System System. It is used by a lot of different software on your computer. Many programs, you are familiar with that run as stand-alone executables, such as e717295f-174-46de-ae61. However, most of the services are executed can operate independently. That of why, e717295f-174-46de-ae61 loads these files and runs himself. This is why you will often find several copies of an e717295f-174-46de-ae61 running on the Windows Task Manager.

  • What is the use of the file winsxS\Policies if we can rename or delete arbitrary?

The solution proposed by Snave_Nivek for a NET problem was:

Rename %windir%\winsxS\Policies (or remove) and then reinstall .NET.

Which will not affect other programs? What is the use of the file winsxS\Policies if we can rename or delete arbitrary?

    Hello

The point behind rename/remove the policies folder is to eliminate the possibility of corrupted files. Once deleted/renamed, the folder is recreated.

However, note that renaming/deleting is not applicable to all records.

  • What is the best suond of quality I can rip a cd with windows media player, which can be read by itunes

I'm putting my windows media files in iTunes to play on a stereo system.

I am after the best quality possible and do not want to be caught in the trap in appleworld but there is very little ipnut devices that support what anyone else than apple.

I also have a Samsing Galaxy SII I want to play music.

I, therefore, plucked a few CD in windows media player using WAV (lossless) format.

When I try to add a folder to library in itunes songs appear under unknown artist and I can't recognize the format.

Anyone know what is the best quality download I can do which can be dealt with by media player AND iTunes?

    Thank you very much.

    John

Why use iTunes AND WMP AND a Galaxy? Use one of them.

The reason for which you you hide it all under "Unknown", this is that wav files are not encrypted when you ripped them. You must add the titles to the hand. However, your Galaxy will not be able to read them.

You could rip as mp3 at a rate of 320 files - negligible loss of sound quality at a high rate, or as a file flac.

You can use a codec for WMP for files flac and I don't know if iTunes can read - I never use it for reading. Check the plug on the Apple site. Yet once, however, the Galaxy cannot.

However, they can read mp3 files, as can your Galaxy (I have a). To transfer files to the Galaxy its recommended to use Kies software (available on Samsung website)...

If you were to use a program like AudioGrabber (Google for it, its freeware) coupled with the Lame codec (follow the links on the site of AudioGrabber) then you can rip from CD directly to mp3 at a rate of 320 that WMP + iTunes + your Galaxy can read.

Hope that waffle above is clear,

    See you soon,.
