  Do not attempt to move anything from one machine to the other.  Just use the disk and the serial number, you will need to install on the new machine.  You are allowed to have two facilities enabled, so you can keep the original as a backup, if you prefer.  If not, the minimum you need to do is to disable the original in order to free activation for another use (open the program and choose Help-> Deactivate)

  It sounds like a great answer but is not an answer to the question. Files exe is at the heart of the app for Live services.
