  I use 9.4.1 installation drive (i.e. an i previously download Adobe).

  I spend (but not install) of this facility. now I have in my directory temporary (document c utilisateur\Local settings\adobe\9.4) some files that I copy for example c:\adobe directory. After that

  I run this file like this:

  MsiExec.exe /a AcroReader.msi

  Installation ask me to put the file that I decide (for example c:\adobe).

  After that, I copy the file (9.4.2) AdbeRdrUpd942_all_incr.msp in the adobe directory.

  Now, I have compiled installation:

  msiexec /a AcroReader.msi /p AdbeRdrUpd942_all_incr.msp

  Give me a new Setup with the package 9.4.2.

  I'm doing this for all the previous excavation of acrobat reader (9.1, etc...) and is always working.

  I have this error:

  "The file 'Adobe.Reader.Dependencies.manifest' cannot be installed because the file is not found in the file 'Data1.cab' CAB. This may indicate a network error, etc...

  so, it does not work.

  Reader is a free application & Acrobat must be purchased requires serial key to activate.

  This gave the option of not having to look for things once again, if you are looking for the same tabs all the time. It's the same exact box you get now, but with the option 'save the tabs and close.

  Yes you can, but they have been very confused about this option (try to get people to opt for the subscription - please let them know what you think of this policy). The default value is subscription, but if you click on the 'I want to buy' drop down list there is complete and updated versions to available level. It's so confusing if you don't know it's available, you would probably never have it find. I have not found it until some other MVPS made outside and many of us complained.
