  The latest version of Safari is 9.1. Apple page on this subject is here. Perhaps the reason best/only to use an earlier version if you are using an older version of OS X (pre 10.9.5) or a former Mac (before Intel processor.) You told us all this, in your question.

  Hi, I apologize in advance if this is a topic to repeat, but I can't find the answer I'm looking for.

  I recently asked to re - install windows on a laptop that has bought one of my friends off ebay it came pre-installed with Windows XP (he didn't say which version - but I hope that it is the original) but he had a problem and formatted until he realizes, he didn't have the disc for re - install from. This is where I come from.

  This laptop has a certificate of authenticity Windows on the bottom, so I was hoping to install the same version of Windows that came with, but I don't know which version I need.

  I contacted the seller RM plc (a specialized company that provides computers to schools and students), but they claim that the machine is out of warranty and refuse to help

  Anyway, the COA has the info (obviously I'm not typing the key to real product here, but everything else is correct)

  The problem I have is that copies of XP Pro I have, both are license of volume, a 32 and a 64 bit.
  the 64-bit does not load even the processor is an intel mobile P4 1.9 GHz
  and 32-bit gets as much as to ask the product key, but it does not accept.
  I read that you can change the Pid in setupp.ini but am in the dark what to change, having tried a few OEM code circulating on the interweb, but no joy.

  It of nothing else on the machine to specify whether it is a rebranded version of another machine, will publish the serial number from the bottom when I get home.

  No need to do so. And certainly do not post the key to product no more!

  Because this isn't a significant mark, you will certainly get an OEM (of aka System Builder) installation CD Windows XP Pro generic, assuming that your COA sticker is a version of XP Pro OEM.

  It is possible, that you will probably need to download the drivers from the manufacturer of your Slate PC site for touch input. Windows 7 includes support touch driver, although I don't know how the built in class driver supports the contact devices.

  The copy provided in the links above is one. ISO image, you can download and use to create a bootable USB Flash DRIVE or a bootable DVD.

  I of course recommend that you have a USB keyboard, very convenient to help resettlement.

  The only version of CS sold is CS6.  For what I klnow of them, most of the CS6 applications are compatible with 10.6.8 but you should check the system requirements for any pachage CS, you are looking for.

  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, use Firefox, but know not how do I know what version. I have Zone Alarm anti virus / firewall, iolo System Mechanic and run them both regularly. I also have a g-mail account, a folder marked 'Gmail' in Thunderbird, and basically 100% of my Gmail messages come to my Thunderbird Inbox. After the opening of Thunderbird, the green "loading" round is seen turning @ low lower left says 'Download Message', @ bottom lower right, the "progress bar" shows HARDLY any green and Thunderbird takes FOREVER to load. If I try to click on an e-mail, (most of the time I don't even have to do), my screen becomes an opaque milky white and at the top of the page says "Thunderbird"(not responding). "» I usually just leave the laptop, and back in 30 minutes or so to start to open my emails. Sometimes, it is ready for me to start reading e-mail and other times, it STILL doesn't react, and I have to continue to wait. Using Ctrl / alt/del... Thunderbird highlight the Task Manager, and click 'end process' is not good. restart, OR shut down / restart also does no good.

  If the files are corrupt, compaction usually does nothing good. With corrupt files, if you can remove them and empty the trash compacting should remove them. If there was something wrong with the messages, when you looked at them first, you would see that. It is the only way to detect, unless that have a way to read the whole mail accounts file.

  Usually an antivirus does not show the cookies, but antispyware shows sometimes, but most just delete cookies, sometimes a little too enthusiastic.
