What version of oracle for installation.

Hello
We currently have several databases oracle, with patch different sets
11.1.0.7.0
11.1.0.7.0 patch 29
11.1.0.7.0 patch 35 .

Currently, we use datapump for exports. If I had to create a database of pending, that would allow me to import these discharges in case of failure (no hot backups), I think I will need to install oracle 11.1.0.7.0 until patch 35 since it is the highest.
Do not forget that in the end, I have to migrate the database to the original with the original version of oracle server.

Someone at - it other thoughts or am I create extra work for me.

Thanks in advance.

PL post your OS version (I guess Windows through versions of patch). The plu group of fixes the installation is recommended. As far as I KNOW, there should be no difference in functionality between these group of patches versions - they should only be bugfixes.

  • MY DELL LATITUDE D610 HOW CAN I UPGRADE TO THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS? NOW IT IS WINDOWS 7, WHAT VERSION IS SUPPORT FOR USE WELL ON MY DEVICE?

MY DELL LATITUDE D610 HOW CAN I UPGRADE TO THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS? NOW IT IS WINDOWS 7, WHAT VERSION IS SUPPORT FOR USE WELL ON MY DEVICE? PLEASE HELP ME

Read this: upgrade Windows 10 Dell Latitude D610

Take a look at my answer, complete instructions.

Basically speaking, Dell officially supports Windows 2000 and Windows XP on Dell Latitude D610 (and other models of Dx10).

However it can really run Windows Vista and 7 at least, as long as you max out the RAM (2 GB, 2 x 1 GB, can be purchased at a great price in eBay) and install the drivers, in particular graphics drivers, look in Device Manager and see what drivers are needed manually.

If you're lucky to have a D610 with ATi graphics card then you can even run Windows 8 and 10 with all drivers available, and I can tell you that it won't be slow dog not unlike a lot of people say, I don't have something similar (a HP Compaq nx8220) in common use. Keep as lean as possible (not bloatwares, anti-virus etc.) system, and it will serve you well.

  • What are the instructions for * installation * the Windows Service 'nativewifip '?

What are the instructions for * installation * the Windows Service 'nativewifip '?
Comments: The file "nwifi.sys" exists in the \windows\system32 directory, but the Windows Service does not exist and so must be "installed" (created). I understand that the command "sc" (service configuration) is probably the way to do it, but I do not know the correct settings for this particular Service. The nativewifip Windows Service is needed to support the Service of autoconfiguration WLAN according to the system of error events that occur when I try to start the autoconfiguration WLAN Service.

  • In what version of Oracle that is possible?

I tried to create this procedure I found.
CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE genlookup (tab in VARCHAR2, VARCHAR2 v-neck)
    IS
    ...
    BEGIN
    PL ('CREATE or REPLACE the FUNCTION' | l_ltab |) ' _row_for (').
    PL (' ' | l_lcol |) "_in IN | l_ltab | '.' || l_lcol | (TYPE)');
    ...
    ...
    pl (« / ») ;
    END;
    /
but I get a compilation error:
PLS-00201: identifier 'PL' must be declared.
In what version is the PL available partion?
    I've got Oracle 8i.
My goal is to write a procedure that in tables of input N is able to generate automatically a 'select from where' coding by joining tables N using ALL_DEPENDENCIES table to create queries automatically.
The site where I found the foregoing creates procedure, can see that giving after comlipation "exec genlookup", you get the FUNCTION CREATE or REPLACE well-trained, but as in my case 'pl' istrucion does not work, can we establish a line of code once and put it in a varrray and do dbms_out.put_line reports select it all or if you have a smart way to do it?

    Thank you!

P (Kyte) en PL (Feuerstein) procedures are usually the wrappers around dbms_output, to save you typing dbms_output.put_line constantly.

  • What Version of PCIe for XPS 435 t

Hi, I want to install a PCIe USB 3.0 card.  What version of PCIe are PCIe slots?  They are PCIe 1.0 or 2.0?    (I have a card 1-way USB 3.0 and I'm trying to manage my expectations for performance.)

I see nothing in the literature of Dell that specifies the PCIe version.  However, this machine uses the X 58 chipset, and Intel said this chipset supports PCIe version 2.0.

  • What version of Oracle Developer tools is installed?

Hello. I have an Oracle 9i server, and I want to install Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio 2013. Can you please tell me which version should I install my projects to communicate with Oracle. I installed the xcopy Release 6 of oracle Developer Tools x 64 but I don't see the provider in the provider Visual Studio 2013 list. I need to intall something more? Version 12 does not support 9i. What can I do? My developer machine is Windows 7 x 64.

There is no combination of development tools Oracle with the support of 2013 VS that will work with a 9i database.

Do you really need development tools? (for example you create table adapters or entity templates?).  If all you need is the connectivity from code, an older version of ODP.NET (for example ODP.NET 10.2) should work with VS 2013.

If you really need Oracle development tools, you must either use an earlier version of Visual Studio (and ODT 10.2) or you will need to use a newer version of the database.

Analytic functions (in other words, the functions by using the keyword, such as)

RANK () OVER (ORDER BY hiredate)

) was introduced in Oracle 8.1

(It's no coincidence if online views were introduced at the same time, since so many uses of anaytic functions require subqueries.)
In - line views were for the first time in Oracle 8.1, but they worked in Oracle 8.0)

  • Should what version I go for, 4 Esx or Esxi 4?

Hi I am new to VmSphere and I want to start as soon as possible.

What is the difference between Esx and Esxi?

And that one should I go for?

There is an installable option and a built-in option.

That we on these I should go with?

    Thank you

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Since you are new to vSphere, I'd say go with ESXi.  ESXi is the future of the product, and you can also get it free!  Take the installable option and see if you have a piece of hardware on the HCL install it on.  Also be sure to check out the excellent product documentation.

    Good luck!

  • I don't know what version of BIOS for update on dv6t-3200 CTO?

I currently have the version of BIOS F.23 from 21/10/2010, which I believe is the original version that came with my CTO dv6t-3200.

When I go to the support page for the drivers/updates there are two options for an update of the BIOS:

    2011 11-21, version F.29

    2010-11-25, F.23 Rev A version

I don't know which is the most recent one and if it includes improvements to the other or if they are separate lines, updates to the BIOS.

    Product number: XZ714AV

    Hello

The latest version of the bios of your laptop is F.29 - the HP bios updates are cumulative, so the latest version contains all the updates and improvements to previous versions.

    Kind regards

  • What version of PDM for PIX 6.3 (4) on a 515E?

I loaded the last PDM bin 4.1 (1) for PIX os ver 6.3 (4) but I get an error message when I try to access the new PDM:

"Cisco PDM 4.0 for FWSM does not work on PIX. Please install Cisco PDM 3.0 on your PIX"

Hmmm a Pix Device Manager which does not work on PIX? The links were wrong on the cisco.com page that pointed me to this location?

    http://www.Cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/PIX

    Are these compatible versions?

    Here's my version:

Cisco PIX Firewall Version 6.3 (4)

Cisco PIX Device Manager Version 4.1 (1)

Yes, this message is absolutely right, version 4.x PDM is just for the firewall Switch Module and is not supported by the device of PIX. FWSM supports Transparent firewall features that the PIX does not now support.

    Version 3.0.2 PDM.

There will be a new PDM with the PIX OS 7.0 version in the first quarter of 2005.

    sincerely

    Patrick
