  I am fairly new to ActiveX and will have a hard time to do a seemingly simple thing: get an image named from an Excel file and save it as a .jpg file.  I've seen similar things for Excel chart objects, but as I understand it the images are "shapes" in Excel and I was unable to find the right method to extract a form. Please, if someone could look at the folder below and tell me if I am on the right track, if there is a better way to do it, or if there is a way to do it at all, it would be useful.  Note that I don't like not how effective a strategy - if I need to register in a middle of another type file, that's fine. The only goal is to be able to extract this image and save it with a click of mouse and without manual intervention.

  Folder contains: 1 example Excel file containing the image named "picture 1"; 1 vi showing the method I found for the export of Excel graphs as .jpg; and 1 vi with the progress that I've done so far tried to get the picture of the Excel file and save it as a .jpg file.

  It should have changed the image btn_a.png. But what it does is removes the image and the text remains. Thank you.

  I just found out another of my post that my uri of the image is incorrect. The format of the url I was using was valid only in a Beta SDK. It should be like "asset:///btn_a.png". Now it works perfectly

  You set the font size to a size that is suitable for the size of the document.   Size of the document may vary everywhere.   To resolve this problem in action, I solved in scaling the document to a known size then use a font suitable for a document of this size.  When you resize an image using size with resample Images not only checked a single pixel is change everything that is changed is the DPI image resolution setting.  So if you size a picture 8 "wide you choose a font size is good for wide image 8" the Save action.  To work around the problem of changing the size of the printing I wrote a Script to use in such an action.  The script is used twice, there is a backup and restore script.   The first time that the script is used the script records the resolution DPI images in the metadata documents.  The second time that the script is executed, it retrieves the registered PID parameter deletes the record of metadata from images and set the DPI images that had been saved.    If the use of fonts for the document 8 "will be resized to fit the print original size.

  Run the disk cleanup utility to remove unnecessary files from your system and then check if it helps. Disk Cleanup helps your computer run faster. It removes temporary files, empty the Recycle Bin, and removes a variety of file system and other items that you no longer need.

  To delete files using disk cleanup, follow the steps below:

  a. open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button, all programs, Accessories, clicking System Toolsand then click on Disk Cleanup.

  b. in the Disk Cleanup Options dialog box, choose whether you want to clean your own files only or all files on the computer.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  c. If the Disk Cleanup: drive selection dialog box appears, select the hard disk you want to clean, and then click OK.

  d. click the Disk Cleanup tab and select the check boxes for files that you want to remove.

  e. When you are finished selecting the files you want to delete, click OK and then click on delete files to confirm the operation. Disk Cleanup on delete all unnecessary files from your computer.

  I saw that article when I was looking for one that I posted...

  I understand your problem, and the answer is that, to the best of my knowledge... NO..

  Windows records the capture in memory as bitmap, along with, even if you can paste it directly into a folder, it would be in the form of bitmap...

  The best I could find is to use the suggestion in the link I've included which refers to the

  Windows Key + PrintScreen to automatically record is in PNG format in your pictures folder...

  The only way to do what you want is with a 3rd party capture program that can be configured to save in a directory as a specific file type...

  Personally, I use a program called print screen Deluxe for this... it is a purchased program...

  I'm sure you could find something free to do what you need...

  You may need to use a different key for print screen, but the software can allow you to reprogram the PrntScrn key...

  Make sure that before you add this photo to your project, you go to the preferences (under the Edit on a PC) and uncheck the default scale to the size of the image.

  Scaling of artificially reduced image size your photo - no matter how large - the size of your video image, make detailed pans and zooms like your impossible. When it is not checked, your photo will be in full resolution and you will only see a small part of it in the preview window.

  That said, don't forget that you work at video resolution, so some details will be lost. (Less so, if you change video high-def). And, of course, don't forget to make your timeline after you have added your pans and zooms to see a better representation of what your final video will look like.

  I thank assani, but it wasn't the answer. The problem was, I finally understood, that the "option for generation of quality and preview thumbnails" wasn't on "high quality" as it usually is. I have no idea how this happened as I never change this option.

  I'm in the need to change the color of the image a bit when the mouse over this image and then remain in this state when it is active.

  I have an image created from Illustrator for a button that I need. The only way I know how to do it is using HTML and change the image of the same image on roll of place with slightly different colors to give that effect.

  Can Muse create this effect?  I read about Adobe questions and answers on a blog back in 2012 that he can only change state with colors for this State, no images.  For example, it will change the color of the text or "Field of State" but not swap on an image for a different image.

  Yes, the Widget "Button of State" must be what you are looking for. It is part of the band Muse not a third Widget. I would add that you should use the image as a fill for the button. You can then change the fill to a different image on any State you want.

  Your entire development is off? You may be able to disconnect and reconnect. You can check this thread for more suggestions:

  Sorry I was out for a while. So I didn't want the name of the image, but its name as it appears in the assets Panel - most likely, it is Pink_dot.

  So here's what you have to change the image

  I'm not sure what the name of your symbol is in the assets Panel, but in your code, it seems that your symbol is named _dot_new

  addresses the symbol + addresses the image the name of the new image of the spirit element + css

  There were moments where I create an image button and find that I need to change this image. When I edit the image, he re - register and then try to recreate the button, Captivate is still the old image. The old button always appears in the drop-down list under the drop down menu to the selection of an image button in the properties panel. I checked in my Gallery, but they aren't there.   I found this, and it seems to work. Just make sure that your project is not in the same folder as your cache (I know that sounds like common sense, but apparently some people who do).
