When I export to PDF format, some of the hyperlinks work and others don't

I work with InDesign CS4. I have a lot of hyperlinks, most of them on youtube, some articles on the internet. When I export the page 11 as a PDF file, all hyperlinks work, except for two who are to articles. I did all hyperlinks on InDesign and InDesign in the hyperlinks window, when I click on "go to destination" exactly the same way, all hyperlinks work very well. But then the PDF document, 2 do not work, despite this.

Why is this? What should I do?

Thank you.

"line break": I discovered that the URLS of the hyperlinks in the file to find a way, but when I click on it, the browser adds the characters 0% D at the end of the URL. So I posted a question in the forum player and someone said that 0% D represents a line break. This probably happened because I pressed Enter before the hyperlink and then copied the URL of the page in the menu new hyperlink. If the entry has been included, causing the browser to add these characters and preventing the internet to be able to find the page.

The solution was not to copy - paste the URL in the menu new hyperlink in the hyperlinks window, but typing in the URL instead.

Now, all hyperlinks work!

Get-VMHost | Get-VMHostNetwork | Select VMHost, VMKernelGateway, DnsAddress, DnsFromDhcp, hostname, domain name SearchDomain

When I use the above script I get the result on the screen I want to see:

You must convert arrays to strings before exporting them one. CSV file. You can do this with the following script:

    Get-VMHost | Get-VMHostNetwork | `
    Select-Object VMHost, VMKernelGateway,
      @{N="DnsAddress";E={[string]::Join(",",$_.DnsAddress)}},
      DnsFromDhcp, HostName, DomainName,
      @{N="SearchDomain";E={[string]::Join(",",$_.SearchDomain)}} | `
    Export-Csv -Path VMHostDNSinfo.csv -NoTypeInformation -UseCulture

  • Why some links work, and others don't?

I hope there, can someone help me please? I created a price list in Word 2003, in which each name of the item on the list of links to the article on our website. I created all the links in the same way, they all have a "friendly" name

When I use PDFMaker to create the PDF file it seems to sweep all the links, however in the following list about a third of the names do not have a hyperlink. I know that I can manually add them to the PDF document, but I don't want to do.

I would like to know if there is probable cause to please?

I am running Acrobat X Pro on Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 3, 32 bit if that makes a difference. Initially, I had some problems to get the mouse to work in Word, but have solved this.

in Word, go to the pdf conversion options and uncheck "Activate the markup.." then try to convert again.

  • How can I update my drivers - or what I can - without spending money on a programme of work as mentioned? Apparently some programs work and others don't.

I tried to use a pilot program for $29.95, which does not work. It says I have 16 outdated drivers and now for a week I go back so he could work and won't install drivers. is there a way or a free program to install the updated driver? or should I just forget about it? I think I'll see if I can get my money back. most of the drivers are vintage from intel. I use windows XP,

None of these update of pilot programs are evaluated at a penny.  Update the drivers by consulting, is the website of the manufacturer of your computer or by using the integrated update (if any) of the manufacturer of your computer provided.

  • Can (CS5) export to PDF format and compress Images?

Using CS5, I have a 'book' with 12 chapters and a total of about 800 color images. The goal is to export it to a PDF file that is shown on the screens, not sent to a printer.

When I export to PDF format, the file size is huge: about 240 MB.

I want this file to be much - a lot! -smaller size (in MB).

I have all images with different resolutions - from 72 dpi to 220 dpi - and I do not have the higher resolutions.

What is the best way to approach this problem? ...

--Are there a way to set Indesign to compress images when exporting?

    - Or if Photoshop can be used to 'batch' compress images at 72 dpi?

    - Or is there another method that I can't even imagine.

    Thank you very much!

    Zorba

Look in the export PDF dialog box. In the "Compression" Panel, you can set a maximum allowed DPI - any image of a value greater than the value "above" will be sous-échantillonnées to the value "to".

It works only on bitmap images. If you placed the vector images big, there is no way to automatically decrease their size.

  • Exchange image States do not work with the export in PDF format

I designed a navigation bar for a Web site, I'm prototyping.

I created "State 2" for each button in the navigation bar and apply style changes.

I had slices of each button on the navigation bar.

I selected the option 'Add an Image Swap behavior' choose 'to State 2"to display onMouseOver.

I added information about 'Links' to each button on each page.

I checked that the behaviors and links are in agreement on the 'master' throughout every page of the drawing.

When I export to PDF format, the links work correctly, but 'Swap Image' behavior does not work. When I roll over a button, the style does not change when you view the document in Acrobat.

PNG and PDF files are attached.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

As you have correctly found, the links will work, but will not be seen no behavior added in Fireworks in PDF format when exporting.

  • Text in an image on Microsoft Word stretching when you export to PDF

I'm having a problem when converting to a word to PDF document... There is a picture in my paper which seems to be a PNG; Is that a graph has this text as well as images. When I export to PDF, it runs from the police. No one knows why this happens? Is that because of embedding fonts? How can I stop it?

If you select the Adobe PDF printer in the print WORD menu and then review the DOC file, how is it? It also seems that you not embed fonts (check the font embedding to ctrl-D).

  • When I export my PDF file to Word, I lose the formatting?

Why am I losing my page/font formats and spacing when I export my PDF file to Word?

It would be useful to know the operating system and the version of Acrobat. When you export, the registration screen has a settings option that includes retain format (creates a lot of text boxes) or flow. There are also options for OCR and graphics in the settings. If the PDF has strange fonts (or non-system), they will be not recorded and Acrobat will try a better idea on an appropriate policy.

  • Model of printers is not displayed in Preview Mode of overprinting or when exporting to PDF format.

    Hello-

I have receid a model from a printer which I can see in my INDD file, but it does not appear in Preview Mode of overprinting or when exporting to PDF format.  I would like to be able to export works of art with the model visible to the customer for review and audit purposes.  What settings must change to CO-OPERATE if the model is visible when I export to PDF?

Check if it is on a layer marked as non-printable, or if the non-printing attribute is checked in the control panel. You will need to change whrever find you.

  • I have an annual subscription to export in PDF format that send States that she joined at the signing, but when I try to access to this that it takes me to a page of upgrade

I used to have the sign of the echo, but cancelled the subscription as my subscription to export in PDF format that send for signature is included but I can't access it and keep sent to a page of upgrade instead of Acrobat Pro DC. I only need to send two or three documents per month, so I can't justify the cost. In an attempt frustrated trying to find the prior service (after waiting to support the customer for 45 minutes) I then signed for sending and the railway until I realize that it is also (theoretically) included in export to PDF format and does not send me signed anyway so even if I cancelled now it , this wont be done until October 21, 2016, so I paid for a useless program for 12 months. Can I access echo sign or send to the signature or not with my subscription please. I will not be upgrading DC Pro so if I can't then I'll get a free/less expensive service.elsewhere of e-signature.

    Thank you

    Hi Pheonix 1,

I'm sorry, but export to the PDF format does not send for the Signature option.

You will need sending to autonomous or Signature included with the Pack of PDF from Adobe, Acrobat Pro DC and Acrobat Standard DC

  • Background settings lost come out wrong when exporting to PDF format

I'm working on a door hanger 5 x 13 in InDesign with a. 125 "bleed on all sides. I did the front in Illustrator and brought in ID and I did the back completely to the identity card, since it is the heavy text.

When I export it to PDF with purge and showing crop marks, crop marks see where color ends instead of. 125 "from the edge of the color.

I keep double-checking ID documents and Illustrator, and I don't see anything wrong. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see what.

Someone has to meet this problem before? Any thoughts on what I might be missing and how to fix it? Maybe ID handles differently than what I am used to bleed?

When you export to PDF there is an option to set funds lost in the dialog box export or use document nosebleeds. Maybe you set them to 0 in the dialog box and have not checked the bleeding of document use?

  • Subsampling selective when you export to PDF?

    Hello

I have a booklet with a number of photos in there. When I export a work in PDF format to create a version ready to print normally, I would just put it to downsample images to 300 dpi, but in this case some of the photos are technical drawings with text and fine lines that I prefer to keep a more - even up to 1200 dpi if possible (the designs are large enough to offer this quality).

So, is there a way of marking of images isolated in InDesign, such that they will be not sous-echantillonnees on export in PDF format?

    See you soon,.

    MP

Has no way to tag individual images to not be downsampled when using PDF presets.

Control sampling yourself doing it in Photoshop (you can use Actions or imaging). Then when export just choose not to downsample and create a custom PDF preset.

  • Color separation when you export a PDF file

She was driving me crazy, ADOBE seems to have forgotten to separate colors when using export to PDF method.  Even quark has this option.

In any case, I expect to know if there is a way that I don't know.

    See you soon

    On behalf of Adobe...

Adobe applications, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop intentionally omitted the ability to initiate a previously separated PDF workflow. Even if we could hack together previously separated PDF format by producing PDF via PostScript distillation (another stream of work that strongly discourage us at Adobe), the concept behind modern PDF of publication workflows must leave content in its final form at the highest level of abstraction until it must be made, if this rendering is on the screen (a device intrinsically RGB) 4 dye Printing CMYK, or high-fidelity print using traditional CMYK dyes and other coloring such as bright green and orange or light cyan and light magenta as well.

Once you separate the PDF, you can't really see the PDF for normal playback, you can not easily search or edit, and you cannot change the target printing condition. You can also not dynamic transparency in a previously separate PDF file! And modern native PDF RIPs do not work with these workflow! No ISO PDF / X standard supports these workflows either!

You want or need to preview separations? Use the preview feature separation of Acrobat (or even the creation of applications).

If you work with a Luddite printing service provider that requires this PDF files or creates internally, you really need to consider very seriously the other print service providers.
