  It seems that Lightroom makes a call to the AGkernel.dll file, this can occur when AGkernel.dll is damaged and must be repaired or AGKernel.dll version is incorrect and should be updated to the correct version.

  Here are some things you can do to fix the file:

  • Re register AGKernel.dll with Windows: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/249873
  • Install all the updates that are available for Windows: Windows Installer updates
  • Uninstall and reinstall Lightroom to Photoshop Lightroom Installer (no CD)

• Microsoft Fix it Center - when I try to launch it I get the message 'set the installation Center has encountered an error. If please close and try to run set up later.

  I downloaded some windows updates to June 30. Since my pc guard crashing and freezing. System Restore does not work either - kept the PC freeze. System Restore works now, but only dates back to 4th of July - so clearly something was wrong.

  I'm trying to trouble it Cener as my last hope - but it won't let me run it according to my question.
