  • Autohide the HTML5 player controls when the video is suspended as well.

    The HTML5 player controls will hide after a few seconds when a video begins to play, either click on a YouTube video link, or when the video is taken from the break. However, the controls will be visible as long as the video is paused. The controls are quite obstructive due to certain times when I need a break to see a certain thing in the video in a very short time-frame but got covered by the player controls and disappears when resume playback. So, how to make controls of the HTML5 to hide also automatically a few seconds after the video player is paused or instantly hides when the mouse is outside the area of the drive?

    Hi frfxuser, the embedded player works the way you describe, but YouTube uses scripts to customize the player controls, so you would need a specific YouTube 'hack' to hide the application.

    One possible approach would be to use a Bookmarklet, which is a snippet of JavaScript that you can save on your bookmarks bar or Bookmarks Menu for quick access. The script can assign controls ' view: no ', then when you click on the new button, remove this rule so they show once again and you can return to normal.

    If you want to try it:

    A time of installation:

    (A) select and copy the following script:

    javascript:var s=document.getElementById('stylehidecontrols'); if(s){s.remove();} else{s=document.createElement('style'); s.id='stylehidecontrols'; var r='#movie_player .ytp-gradient-top, #movie_player .ytp-chrome-top, #movie_player .ytp-progress-bar-container, #movie_player .ytp-chrome-controls{display:none !important}'; s.appendChild(document.createTextNode(r)); document.body.appendChild(s);} void 0;

    (B) right click a place on the bookmarks Menu or Bookmarks Toolbar where you want to save the script and choose new bookmark

    (C) in the location box, paste the script, and then in the name box, type something you remember as YT hide and click the Add button

    To use the bookmarklet:

    After clicking on pause, click on the bookmarklet to run the script on the page and hide the controls.

    You can return to the player by clicking on it, but if you want comprehensive controls, click on the bookmarklet button again to remove the hack of the page style.

    I have a Flash Player plugin 'on demand' that supposedly save memory by launching flashplayer only when a video is launched. It gives me a 'f' icon in the middle of the video window, which I have to type. Hi sgcpenny, Flash is by far the most common plugin. I think it is unlikely that the others work on the sites where you don't want to run. It does not hurt to try the setting and see if it works for you.

  • Windows Media Player 12 will not play mp4, mp3, wmv files through IIS hosted local site when the PC is disconnected from the Internet

    I have an IIS Web site 6.1 on local 32-bit Windows 7 machine that serves HTML and MP4 videos via Internet Explorer on the local computer.  An internet connection is not necessary because it is all local storage and local accommodations through IIS.  IIS is configured to serve the MP4 videos in the form of downloadable files, don't not streaming somehow.  I have the right MIME type ".mp4" with the installation of "video/mp4" in the IIS server, so I don't think that's the problem.

    When the machine is connected to the internet, by clicking on a video link MP4 in any HTML page served by the local IIS server results in Windows Media Player opening and playing the video in its own window.  However, when the Ethernet cable is unplugged, by clicking on the same results of video link MP4 in Windows Media Player by opening its own window, and then display this error message:

    Windows Media Player cannot play the file.  If the file is on the Internet, connect to the Internet.  If the file is on a removable storage card, insert the storage card.

    It's almost as if Windows Media Player has a bug and since it accesses this media file via a URL, but the machine is not connected to a network, he thinks that this file is unplayable.

    When the Ethernet cable is disconnected, the local IIS server is still all the HTML code and ActiveX content except for media files.  I also tried to access MP3 and WMV files via the IIS server to see if Windows Media Player will open those when the computer is disconnected from the Internet.  These caused also Windows Media Player files display the same error message.

    I tried the VLC (VideoLAN) Player after changing the property file in VLC of WMP for .mp4 files extension.  With VLC installed and the extension changed to VLS property, I can download/open the MP4 video using the link in the web page served by IIS all when they are disconnected from the internet.  The only thing I can't do is get VLC player to open and play the video simply by clicking on the link in Internet Explore web pages served by the local IIS server.

    I would like to make use of Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player with this IIS server that serves the MP4 videos rather than using VLC player.

    Thank you

    Michael Rayman

    I finally found the answer to my problem:

    When they are disconnected from the internet, mysteriously, Windows Media Player 12 requires that you check a checkbox in tools > Options... > zone settings tab player called "Internet connection (ignore the other commands).  Once this box is checked and the settings saved on APPLY, then Windows Media Player 12 will play videos served by the local IIS server on the same machine, while disconnected from the Internet.

  • When the path is missing from the Illustrator file, the problem occurs

    When the path is missing from the Illustrator file, it keeps duplicating well the path is absent from and cannot do anything else in the file

    Sorry about that - it happens to PSD files too. The solution is either to the back file where she there or, if you do not have the file, the set (of the same type) _any_ file in the old location renamed the old file name just if she continues to complain.

    Or, if you don't need the project, just leave Ch and delete project - it will create a new on the next launch.

    If you know in advance that you will be willing to delete the files to work on disk that are still referenced, you can avoid this problem by selecting the puppet in the project Panel, and unchecking the option "Auto-sync with the work" in the properties panel. Manual synchronization is then possible to check and uncheck this option.

    We have already fixed this bug here at the factory in Seattle, so it won't be a problem in Preview 2 and later versions.

    Hello, I would like to know How to Choose the video image which will be appear in the form " ", "boot image", that image that appears when the video has no was clicked yetThe image all can see before viewing the video.
    Thank you, Pedro Paulo

    You can change the image poster of clips in the icon view. By default, the first image of a clip appears in the thumbnail viewer and in other places in the Bill where the thumbnail is displayed. You can override the default thumbnail by designating any clip image as a poster frame.

    To set a poster frame for the icon, drag the playback slider or shuttle to the desired image and press the keys command + P (Mac OS) or SHIFT + p (Windows).

  • When the video ends go to label timeline

    Hello world

    I use this code to play a video when the user clicks on a button:

    addChild (video);

    var nc:NetConnection = new NetConnection();

    NS.client = {onMetaData:ns_onMetaData, onCuePoint:ns_onCuePoint};

    video.attachNetStream (ns);

    NS. Play ("Video.flv");

    function ns_onMetaData(item:Object):void {}

    Video.x = (stage.stageWidth - video.width) / 2;

    Video.y = (stage.stageHeight - video.height) / 2;

    }

    }

    When the video ends, I want to go in another part of the timeline. How can I do this?

    I hope someone can help!

    Thank you very much!

    IIRC NetStream.Play.Stop is also triggered when playback is stopped during the buffering.

    Yes, I've tried and it doesn't work.

    However, you can use polling to check the current Netstream time against the amount of time you get in the metadata and dispatches an event when it is appropriate. Something like this:

    import flash.display.Sprite;
    import flash.net.NetConnection;
    to import flash.net.NetStream;
    import flash.events.NetStatusEvent;
    import flash.media.Video;
    import flash.utils.setTimeout;

    import flash.events. *;
    import flash.utils.Timer;

    var nc:NetConnection = new NetConnection();
    var ns:NetStream;
    var duration: number = 0;
    var vid:Video = new Video (300,300);
    var obj:Object = new Object();
    var videoURL:String = "test.flv;

    nc.objectEncoding = 0;
    nc.addEventListener (NetStatusEvent.NET_STATUS, onNCStatus);
    NC. Connect (null);
    addChild (vid);

    function onNCStatus(event:NetStatusEvent):void
    {
    Switch (event.info.code)
    {
    case "NetConnection.Connect.Success":
    NS = new NetStream (nc);
    NS. Play (videoURL);
    NS.client = this;
    startPoll();
    vid.attachNetStream (ns);
    break;
    }
    }

    Poll: var timer = null;
    function startPoll()
    {
    if(Poll==null) {survey = new Timer (500) ;}}
    poll.addEventListener (TimerEvent.TIMER, pollHandler);
    Poll.Start ();
    }
    function stopPoll()
    {
    if(Poll==null) {return ;}
    Poll.Stop ();
    }
    function pollHandler(event:TimerEvent)
    {
    trace (ns.time, "of"), duration;
    If (ns.time > = length)
    {
    stopPoll();
    dispatchEvent (new Event (Event.COMPLETE));
    }
    }

    function onMetaData(info:Object):void
    {
    trace ("metadata: duration =" + info.duration + "width =" + info.width + "height =" + info.height + "framerate =" + info.framerate);

    set the duration, so we can check the completion status
    Duration = info. Duration;

    Hello

    1. do you remember any change before the question?
    2. What if the problem occurs on a particular Web site?

    Follow the steps below and see if they help.

    Step 1:

    I suggest you to disable the auto restart in case of system error and try to take note of the error message and reply with the exact error message. Once we have the exact error message that we will be in a better position to determine the exact nature of the problem and fix it.

    Follow the steps below to disable automatic restart on system failure:

    a. Click Start.
    b. type system in the search box after clicking on start. Choose system from the list of results.
    Note: If you see the classic view of the Control Panel, you will not see this link. Just double-click on the system icon and go to step d.
    c. click on the system link.
    d. in the left pane, click Advanced system settings.
    e. Locate the startup and recovery area and click on the settings button.
    f. in the startup and recovery window, locate and uncheck the box next to automatically restart.
    g. click OK in the startup and recovery window.
    h. click OK in the System Properties window.

    You can now close the system window.

    Subsequently, when the computer is lorsque l' ordinateur s' arrete stop the computer restarts automatically and you will receive the error message, make a note of it and post back.

    You can also open the event viewer and check if there are other significant error messages/codes. See the link below for more details:

    What are the information contained in the logs of the event (Event Viewer)?
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-information-appears-in-event-logs-Event-Viewer

    Step 2:

    If you don't have to update your display drivers yet, I suggest you Update your display drivers and check if the crash stops.
    Step 3:
    I suggest you put your computer in a clean boot State, and check if the problem persists. I suspect that there could be involvement of third-party software.
    Note: Follow step 7 to your computer as usual.

  • Adobe Edge animate event handler when the video starts to play

    Now I use

    document.getElementById('myVideo2').addEventListener (myHandler, 'ended', false);

    If I want to add a new event after a video was played.

    How can I check when a video actually started playing and see you on the screen? I need this because I want to add some additional animations around the video that must be triggered exactly with the first images from the video.

    I found the solution:

    Video.onplaying = function() {}

    Console.log ("video is now loaded and play");

    }

  • PC shut down when the video in the browser if Adobe Flash is used...

    Hello.

    My PC can turn off randomly when using adobe flash video in the browser.

    Topic close:
    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/1258555

    (a) the temperatures in the system are OK.

    (b) system has survived several stress tests. Some wore on the PSU, some on the CPU, another on memory and other graphics.

    (c) tested on:

    Opera 12 and 20

    Browsers have been either Flash game, you will be able to. When uninstalled Opera requested Adobe Plugin automatically on Youtube.

    Internet Explore 11

    If Adobe ActiveX absent, YouTube videos were played through HTML 5 without a problem. During the installation of ActiveX was not difficult, but since I have the graphics card AMD, IT requested to activate "AMD steady video plugin. Once activated, there are still some chances to turn the PC off.

    Catalyst settings:
    When constant video AMD is not installed or is disabled the chance for this problem is still there.

    If installed and enabled, the system has not crushed this.

    I tried the last Adobe Flash 12 and 11 previous are the cause. I tried older Catalyst (13.12), and behavior is repeated.

    Event log:
    Empty. literally, it seems that when someone comes out the plug.

    Behavior of GPU:
    Last usually observed is that GPU clocks to frequency full for a while, then "video frequency" 501 Mhz.

    Other behaviors:

    This behavior is more like to occur when the PC is "freshly started." The longest is running, more it took power.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The symptoms are confusing to me. The question is probably at least partially HW related, but related only to Adobe Flash. No other HW accelerated video codec is initially similar behavior (at least so far).

    On the other hand, its clearly related to Adobe Flash 12 or 11 past and some parameters of catalyst.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Can you recommend Adobe Flash version that uses any Amd video Steady?

    Thank you.

    Thanks for the reply.

    (a) system passed all stress test, graphic power supply, memory or CPU MENTIONED.

    (b) its extinction only when you use Adobe Flash player in the browser.

    -----------------------------

    I confirmed that only Adobe Flash in any browser I've tested will result in failure, but I again rethink the components that are included in all of the chain. It was happenning even on stock frequencies and voltages, but...

    (Data stream coming from NIC, is transferred to the RAM, then CPU picks up, send it to GPU to decompresson (HW accelerated), then back to CPU when browser starts to manage data, then back to GPU for display)

    ----------------------------

    (a) core CPU failure could cause a BSOD, because I have 5 other CPU to handle the event in this way.

    (b) failure GPU, NIC or the sound card will also BSOD - processors will remain active...

    (c) memory failure will also cause BSOD...

    It is only my PC, which can cause the Instant Power-Off symptoms. His Northbridge/L3 cache.

    --------------

    Even when the Stock settings were originally exactly same symptom, I focused on the manual settings of the Bios. Last night (rather early this morning) I found the Setup when the Flash has remained stable.

    Its not overheating, rather than overloading of the Northbridge/L3 cache. The amount of the transactions between all devices must be huge... So I had to customize the settings, CPU/NB in order to maintain stable Adobe Flash. (slightly increase tension CPU + 0, 02v on CPU 0, 05v on NB compared to the stock).

    At the moment I have to re - test these settings for a few hours with Flash and later with stability tests.

    Yes, this driver (I plugged it in Win7-32 bit OS), is the last one (296.10 WHQL) shown on the nVidia website.

    I open the console from nVidia and see if there is a parameter, which may interfere with its performance. Look for things like 3D, stereo-Vision acceleration, etc.

    Good luck

    Reset my master password with this method does not resolve the problem. Once I put a master password, yet once I have the same problem as before. The password that appears when Firefox is started does not accept my password.
