When vista windows Home Premium end support?
When Windows Vista Home Premium will support end and Vista Ultimate?
Not only well-documented life cycle, but no one does support their products for like a long lifecycle like Microsoft. Microsoft still supports Windows 2000, released 8.5 years ago and Internet Explorer 5.5 on it.
Then, on this basis, I wouldn't worry by the persistence of support for many years.
Here is a link for you,

Windows Vista Edition Home Premium 32-bit to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Hello, I bought windows 7 Professional and received a disc OEM from DELL, I have Vista Edition home premium on an HP, what are my chances to do this upgrade.
I inserted the CD and I got the following error message "the version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you are using.I tried to get rid of a download on the computer and still the same.I also have a problem with the product key that small cutting with the key has been damage and some numbers where not readable. but so far that has not been a problem as I have not that many but I want to be readyChrisContact the person who sold it to your and get a replacement or Exchange CD-ROM.
There is no place on the way to upgrade 32-bit versions of Windows to Windows 7 64 bit. You will need to do a custom installation.
Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.
Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the necessary
Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
Click Install now
Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.
You will receive the following warning:
The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.
(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK
The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.
Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.
You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

You're confused system recovery and system restore.
System Restore makes the settings from your computer to an earlier date; It will not reinstall the operating system.
System recovery reinstalls the operating system how much you bought your machine; as for the new State.

copy of Windows Home Premium to reinstall
I would like to know if I can get a copy of Windows Home Premium to reinstall it on the computer, I bought, but had to get a new hard drive. The Unit came with everything installed and without disks. So 3 years later my hard drive crashed. I recorded my copy of windows, is there anywhere where I can download a copy based on my initial purchase and registration? Thankss, Dave
Hello
There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.
They should do this for a small fee.
To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:
You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:
How to change the Boot order in BIOS:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm
"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246
Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

Vista Business Home Premium vs:
I have a desktop running Vista Home Premium. I have vista original home premium and key for this drive.
I also have a laptop running Vista Business. This OS has been pre-installed (OEM) when I got it. I got the key stuck label
on my laptop. I want to reinstall vista on my laptop (because I want to format the hard drive) but only the
system backup disks that were created after that I got the laptop. Question: Can I reinstall Vista Business using Vista Home
Drives high-end but with my Vista Business key? (Authentication key won't be a problem because I have legal)
OS authenticated on the desktop and the laptop.)
Hello
"I have a desktop running Vista Home Premium. I have vista home disc premium and key to it original. »
You tell us if the desktop came with Vista pre-installed Vista OEM license (Dell, etc.).
If this is the recovery of an OEM license disk manufacturing; No, you can not use it on the laptop.
"system backup disks that were created after that I got the laptop."
If they are recovery disks, the software of the manufacturer of the laptop computer created when you followed the instructions, use them to re - install.
To do what you want to do with the laptop you need a DVD of Microsoft Vista, not the manufacturer's recovery disk (Home Premium or other)
Read about it:
You can use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed.

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.
