When would be the next CS6 is no longer (transparently) be compatible with CC / the applications in the suite?

I have the CS6 on my computer desk and CC installed at home. I want to delete some applications of CC inadvertently, I installed on the desktop computer to free up space.  I am; However, concern that CC updates on my computer at home, I'll have to save on compatible file types, for example IDML for InDesign.  Also, I use the CC software (for example Adobe InDesign CC vs Adobe InDesign CS6) at the office and I wonder if there will be compatibility problems once CC disappeared and I go back to the use of CS6.  So that I could remove the entire suite CS6 and just use CC on desktop, I'd rather have the extra installation of CC for a personal computer since I pay for the subscription and my company paid for CS6.  Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.   Thank you.

There is no single answer... any response is specific to the individual program

For instance... a first Pro CC project file is not backward compatible with Premiere Pro CS6
