  This happens usually when the video file has
  compatibility problems with Movie Maker.

  You can try the following steps but more
  probably, you will need to convert the file to the
  WMV format to make it compatible.

  Reach... Tools / Options / Compatibility tab and
  left click Restore values by default all the button / OK

  No improvement? Try to convert it to WMV.

  There are many converters available on the net... some
  free... some detail.

  The following freeware converters are a few examples:

  (FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
  Restore point before installing software or updates)

  (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

  You will need to unzip the file... or you could just drag
  the Setup.exe from the file out of the folder and drop it on your
  desktop and install from there.

  Next... in the encoding settings... Choose... Video credits.
  WMV - Windows Media Video (*.wmv).

  Choose an output folder and on the left, click on the button convert.

  You can experiment with other settings later but

  I can't for the life of understand me why I get the error "Unable to insert NULL object in the tables of objects or nested tables" when you attempt to insert a xml file that I have validated against the schema that I registered with several validators. Here is the schema and file. I tried to use dummy data in empty elements. I tried to to escape apostrophes (& apos ;) that surrounds my regex and the values in the file.   Guidelines for the minimum system requirements are especially on what we and won't fix the bugs for.  Flash Player probably works on Windows Server 2000 and we will not intentionally break it or prevent you from installing, but we will also not fix it if it breaks.  In cases where it will crash on launch or some other out-of-box horrible experience, like trying to install on a Mac PowerPC, then we will prevent pure and simple installation.

  When you launch Lightroom CC 5 I immediately get an error:

  Apart from the error, I try to go to Lightroom-> Preferences.

  However, preferences DO NOT open.  Should fix this problem.

  Maybe this problem is related to the error reported?
